IU's defense leaves no margin for error on offense ... The defense is very average, but fortunately IU has a very methodical offense that eats lots of time off the clock and does not turn the ball over ... IU has only turned the ball over 4 times in 6 games ... one of these days, reality will set in and a team will put up 35 pts on them.
@@douglascarlson9006 well, we know OSU will drop 45 on that D and even tho MSU is not good this year, IU has to go to MSU and that is a house-of-horrors for IU, also, Michagan should drop 35 on them. Think about what they just gave up to Northwestern, 3 Tuddies and a Field Goal (The absolute worst team in the Big Ten on a high school field)
From a James Madison fan, you're welcome. :) We've taken to calling Indiana "JMU West"! Seriously, I knew he would do well there (although maybe not THIS well!). He's a really good coach with a great attitude and intensity and is great at getting the most out of players.
Ppl don’t wanna give northwestern credit here they did a great job, by far the best football game they’ve played this year. That defense was the toughest Indiana has seen so far.
@@ShadowBanned904 Didn't Oregon score two fewer times against UCLA than Indiana? I'd say the offense averaging 47.5 points a game is better than the offense averaging 35. Just me though
Obviously, a good offensive team ranked in the top-25 will thrash this weak Indiana defense, but I think they can score on Michigan, Ohio State, & Penn State one or two TD's.
@@barryprice4202 Yep, but they need to beat a top-25 team and those two are not in the TOP-25 at all. Going to be hard to climb the rankings without a quality win.
I think so? Northwestern demoed their nearly 100 year old prior field this year and I'm not sure exactly when the new one is going to be finished. It was _badly_ needed, though. Much as I hate losing historic buildings, the old field was the kind of old you can't really renovate to modern standards.
@@John.Alphonso IMO I’m not ganna be surprised when Indiana handles Michigan. They have no passing game, IU has an explosive offense. Ohio State is a different story, but if they compete that’ll be good enough
Have the Hoosiers been the biggest surprise this season?
Yes
I think so, Vandy is giving my Hoosiers a run for their money, at least this weekend.
