    saving with out investing, to will be difficult to maintain the same lifestyle in retirement that you did in your working years which you may find challenging .The best way to build wealth is to stay invested, but I know that can be challenging as well too, this is why I recommend *Romero* *pieto* an expert in this field.

    Great stuff! Everyone talks about investment, but real money is made in business. You want to get rich fast and enjoy it whilst you're young? Start a business. You think Warren Buffett is the world's best investor? He started his own firm (business) and buys businesses. Buffett is a businessman first and foremost.

    trying to understand ... about 20:15 or so he speaks of paying yourself the wealth capture account 18%. 18% of what? Your monthly salary you pay yourself? Salary goes to personal checking, then 18% of that to the wealth capture account?

    • @sman96490
      @sman96490 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think he meant 18% of what you pay your self from your company's profits. So, if your company makes 100k in profits annually and your pay yourself 50k salary, then 18% of that is $9000.

    I don't agree with everything he says but I will say that I don't agree 1000% with Dave Ramsey. I love Dave Ramsey and he's great for a regular person that makes anywhere from 50 to $100,000 a year. I make 800000 a year and started my own business and I pissed a lot of money away no doubt. High-stakes gambling Lamborghinis McLaren's jewelry watches etc..I am 58 years old now I have several hundred thousand in the bank I should have had several million at least.but by the time I am ready to hang it up I will have at least for a 5 million in the bank as I am starting an aggressive plan of saving. I can continue to have my Lamborghini on my McLaren and still save money.I put a paltry $100,000 a year into stocks every year which will increase to about 300,000 in about 2 years.that should be good enough for me I will not have a mortgage and I will have plenty of money in retirement. So what are you saying create your business,drive to things of life when you are young which I agree with. But have some for the rainy day when you're an old person.my former father-in-law's brother had 7 million dollars he died at 62 of a heart attack and never spent a red cent. So you must have the best of both world.create your own business and create your own destiny and that is the answer

      I agree, One of the most valuable lessons that resonated with me was the scarcity mindset from budgeting. I like to save, but when I think of saving in the long term, there's only so much I can save before I get all wrinkly. I think I should SAVE but invest it in a business that will grow or give me passive income. Until then, I can fully invest in stocks or real estate etc.

    He is a great talker, but I would disagree with him. He keeps telling the stock market is not suitable for you; if you control your money, learn how to trade the right way, your return will increase at least %12. Last five years, my trading return more than %34 - 60 More people are talking about real estate investment, but expected profit yearly %4.5 and long term; the only advantage is tax purposes, in my opinion. The real estate investment also requires a block of wealth so you can not liquidate any time, but if you create assets on the stock market and learn how to generate monthly income, you will more control on your money. Your return will be higher than any investment; the only thing is that having the right mindset, education, and firing your investment adviser, broker, and getting wet your feeds!

    • @gu3sswh075
      @gu3sswh075 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Engin Terzi it depends how much money you're investing with. Let's say you start with $1M, you would have to invest about $1M (assuming you get a 5% annualized dividend) for you to make about $50k per year. With $1M you'd be better off investing in real estate to earn about $100k per year from collecting rent every month.
      Now $1M might seem like a lot but AirBnB is a way to make money in real estate regardless of how much you're actually starting with.

      That is the point. Nobody sees the bubble when they are in one. Once it hits you, a loss by an x% followed by a gain in x% is a net loss. Not only that but then inflation kicks in since the real inflation is much higher than 2% then you can't really accumulate wealth through mutual fund investing. Better than just saving? Yes. Do you still lose purchase power? Also yes.
