I'm only five seconds into the video but I would like to cast my vote for a trilogy reaction!! All of Taemin's songs and MVs are so good you won't regret it!
Taemin is EVERYTHING. He defines what the ultimate Kpop idol is. That’s why he is called the Idol’s Idol. His dancing, singing, costumes and stages, his MVs all show his mastery. He pours himself into every piece of work he does and he has since he debuted at 14. Every one of his videos is worth watching. The trilogy of Criminal, Idea and Advice are definitely recommended, but also I would check out some of his earlier solo stuff like Move, Danger, Famous, and Sayonara Hitori. Also his live stages.
@@MandySam13 True! I didnt even really looked this much into Kpop until i discovered Taemin few months ago. His songs are magnificent & grand and as a theatre/cinema geek as well, his MVs & songs just give this elegant vibe that I havent found in any other kpop artists/songs.
Something important to keep in mind with Taemin - he's *very* religious and he uses that a lot in his art but in the opposite way you would expect, his life mission seems to be to make Biblical imagery as sexy as he possibly can (while also maintaining a lot of depth and complexity in the themes he uses). The biggest running theme I can find in his MVs is the contrast between two opposites, *usually* something like light and dark, good and bad, or faith and sin. He tends to place himself in the "dark" a lot of the time. And he actually has a lot of involvement in his MVs and concepts, more than for most artists. *Especially* Criminal - Criminal is Taemin's baby and it's absolutely beautiful.
Yes, I was sort of wondering if he was purposely avoiding the comparison between desire and want with Lucifer, in the imagery of the Sun, the red, the cross, the serpents, the gate to hell, but perhaps like some he just doesn't think in religious imagery which is understandable.
If you’ve seen Me & You which was a VCR from his Online concert Never Gonna Dance again in April. It had that same light & dark, saint & sinner thing happening. The two contrasts. The lyrics are very meaningful too. I cried watching that song coz it had something that just speaks to you. It showed Taemin at his vulnerable best. That’s why he’s not a KPop star, Taemin is an ARTIST! His work is art and that’s why I love it & him so much!
I'm a huge fan of Taemin and to see you reacting to him is definitely a good feeling. I'm sure you'll like his other MVs as well, like Criminal, IDEA, Advice, Move etc etc. They all are so amazing and beautiful

He really is a true artist and the fact that he’s very hands on in everything-from the songwriting, wardrobe, set design & even post prod. He’s a magnificent performer!

All Taemin videos are worth reacting to, they're very beautiful and mesmerizing. I especially like Move. If you wanted to react to another vid with a biblical temptation theme, I'd recommend Ga-in's Paradise Lost. It is such a beautiful video, definitely in my top 5 kpop mvs ever.

I would totally suggest watching Taemin's Criminal, Idea, and Advice; they do tell a story in a way so you'll have to kinda watch them in that order for them to make sense. I would also suggest watching videos by OneUs, they're really good and they're also known as the concept kings.

With all the red and snake imagery and him dancing snakelike actually having the wings fits in perfectly since the tempter was the fallen angel.
