Techies is very relaxing hero.. When you are losing, you plant mine in jungle, triangle, or riverside denying enemies their farm and telling them to go around or get blown up..
had a Techies last night who said don't worry I got a strat and did rather bad in lane until roshan appeared and he started placing down like 40 mines on both rosh pits, in the end the enemy team came with 3 ppl to take roh and went through teleporter, wish I recorded it funniest triple kill I saw
OMG! Dude dont stop! I love all-hero challenge. Though its much more fun to do it in Dota order than going A to Z. If you go Profile - History tab - Hero Stats, you can see your own randomized hero shuffle for the challenge. Best of luck! Also I didn't see anyone mention it in vids but you can do couple more things: 1) Enable quick cast on certain heroes like Venomancer or Arc Warden, quick cast makes you instantly cast ability on mouse target without additional click. Helps a lot with spammy heroes (for example putting 3 veno wards in an instant). LOL players who already have micro skills benefit a lot from this. 2) You can always go to hero demo and assign groups to your units. For example I use F1 "select hero", F2 "select everything", F3 "select everything but hero" and TAB "switch to next unit". This way I can chain Arc Warden skills with cast, tab, cast, tab, cast cast, tab cast. Same goes for macroing meepos or treants or basically any illusions. 3) You still didn't assign any button to neutral slot item! Do it! a lot of items have neat active abilities (arcane ring gives you bit of mana, Iron Talon removes 80% HP of any creep which helps you farm neutrals a lot, higher tiers are even better)
I promise I look for neutral trinkets a LOT now xD, but I will NEVER activate quick cast because I hate it. League has it too, and my friends tell me i'm crazy for not using it, but It just FEELS way more accurate to have use normal cast. (They're always flabbergasted at how fast I land things with champs like Ezreal if you know who he is) But this comment IS screenshotted for the 2nd advice
Totally fair, to each their own. You can go to Learn - Items tab and just check all neutral tier items there's really just a few of them and you'll know right away what to use, active or passive. And a bit of clarification on grouping and selectors, you don't need to demo heroes to have buttons I named. But if you check in settings there are mappings for groups, up to 9 of them. So some people like to set specific groups for Lycan wolves, a separate group for Lycan illusions etc etc. I find Select all, select all but hero and tab to switch more universal and ez to use. Cheers! Cya on stream next time hopefully
Oh man, from the bottom of my heart is wish you the best with being a support, you are basically the punching bag of the team besides the other support, if you trully wanna go support then I suggest going with either Shadow Shaman or Dazzle both are amazing at *disrupting* (its a pun based on a another hero) and keeping youre allies alive. Not important, but for any healing hero the holy locket is a good item, it increases healing by 20%
as a support main we really are a punching bag and sometimes sarcifice. However, its very satisfying to annoying the carry and midlaner of the enemy using support, stacking for the carry, roaming the map trying to slow the farm of the enemy. And lastly, save the carry from being killed (especially with items like grimoire, forcestaff, etc)

The next closest male is Sven at 280 with a large majority of the other males having under 100. In terms of least submissions Snapfire is the female character with the least submissions at only 4. But the spot with the least submissions has zero which is shared by Nechrophos, Gyrocopter, Mars, Keeper of Light, Chen and Earth Spirit. @@Tumultulous Isn't map pressure a concept in League? Imagine TP every 20 seconds, and summons to push safely. You can push one side of the map with summons, the other 2 lanes with ult. At lvl 25 your trees do 4x dmg to buildings. You can actually 1v9
Here’s a quick tip, Im no expert but just wanna help. Before you actually engage in fights, try to have time to read the abilities of your allies and your enemies. Plus its not good in engage in team fights at all very early level especially if your hero and your teammate in the lane is very weak early game. Muerta can easily harass you and night stalker, while crystal maiden have small cooldowns and can just spam cc skills. Try not to feed early game. Do not get bothered by your skills cuz actually you think your hero does nothing but if you observe properly and start learning combos and buying correct items you can easily turn the table with every hero. Lastly, you buy items when its complete otherwise you stick with almost to no items at all. Keep buying all the needed items for another specific item or recipe, that can help you gain more stats while also help you farm easier.
Nature's Prophet is a weird hero. He's been a top meta hero in every single role multiple times throughout the years, despite his core kit seeing almost no major changes throughout his lifetime. He's a bit of a stat-stick (highest total stat gains in the game), and having a global teleport and an ult that can farm the entire map makes him good at getting a lot of money, even as a support. Which is good, because he needs it, his spells kinda suck and a lot of his impact comes from his itemization. You can build him for damage as a carry or utility as a support (or damage as a support even, it's not ALWAYS griefing), but regardless of your role and build the most important skill for NP players is basically always map awareness and map movements, which makes him less than ideal for new players. Something to note about his Ironwood Treant facet: the treant has the "reinforced" attack type. I won't go too much into the nitty gritty, since it's an obscure niche mechanic, but basically the ironwood tree takes reduced damage from everything except buildings and deals significantly increased damage to buildings, but also takes significantly increased damage from buildings. This makes it a very effective pusher, though you have to play around tower aggro mechanics a bit to get the most value out of it since it melts to towers. There are some items you can use to buff the tree as well to make it an even better pusher. Also for reference, the catapult creep is also reinforced, meaning it too deals extra damage to towers but melts when hit by towers. However, the catapult creep has nearly the lowest priority for tower aggro, so as long as there are just about any other units in range the tower will attack them first (kind of a reverse cannon minion). This is why you'll sometimes see higher level players tank tower for a bit to protect their catapult while waiting for the next wave to arrive. Nightstalker was playing passive in lane cause during the day your lane is much weaker than the enemy's lane. Nightstalker during the day just kinda sucks; his spells are weaker, his passive isn't active, and his vision sucks. During night all of that changes, so the hero wants to play safe during the day then get aggressive during the night. On top of that Muerta and CM have strong early laning spells so trying to fight during the day was never going to work out. In league terms, it's a little like walking into bot lane as a Sivir Yuumi, looking at the Draven Leona, and going "Nah, I'd win" and just trying to take a straight manfight to the death. Also when Muerta uses her ult she becomes Ethereal, meaning you cannot auto attack her, and does a ton of bonus damage, so your auto attack heavy lane does not fight well into that. Oh, and her circle of ghosts reduces your attack speed when inside so another thing that makes them hard to fight into. Basically it was a really tough lane, and a lot of the time when Nightstalker dipped he actually had the right idea. On the note of surrendering, I find the option to surrender to be WAY more toxic than not having the option to surrender. People in league are absolute babies with the surrender votes, and I feel like it makes teams whinier and much more prone to just quitting out of completely winnable games. Conversely in dota I've had a ton of seemingly impossible comebacks and exciting close games that would never have happened in league cause the team would have just gone "oh we're behind, fuck this I'm going next," even in cases where they aren't that far behind. Plus I feel like not having an option to surrender makes it a lot more likely that people actually try to win and makes the community less toxic. Oh, and in the case of Techies's facet that reminded you of Senna's passive: this is one of the rare instances where the league ability came first. All facets were added in the major update earlier this year, they are all relatively new (with the arguable exceptions of those that are basically just "the hero stays the same as it was before facets were added").
I keep noticing you press left and right click at the same time do you not? or is it just me so whenever you cast spells it doesn't go through idk maybe probably but looking forward to the all hero challenge, keep up the good work :))
So i'm basically trained to be CONSTANTLY right clicking to kite or move around in league. So YES I am indeed left clicking simultaneously as well. I've noticed that sometimes it kinda ruins spells so it's a lil difficult to break the habit
After I made this video I lost 3 games of ARAM on League, cause of bad matchups/teammates, so I totally get'cha XD I gotta just get back on the rift man. Wish League got into games as fast as DOTA
@@Tumultulous honestly, in ranked matchmaking can take a while if you search for certain roles only, carry and mid, since most people play only those roles. but waiting 3-4 minutes on queue dont feel that bad since games take mostly 40+ minutes and if you search for support roles there are games for days
Pls try Offlane Tiny, but use the built in guide for carry position 2. He's as the name implies Tiny at the start but every time you upgrade his ult his model changes(grows) up to 4 times and is very fun. Many also recommend crash landing facet for him but the insurmountable facet makes you get slow and status resistance just by upgrading strength and to me it just means a lot for a hero who has no lifesteal
@@Tumultulous nah nah just for Tiny's facet, should have specified. Nature's got nerfed like 2 days ago and his ironwood treant facet is almost useless now

one of the main reason I stopped playing League was because as soon as it looked bad, everyone would just instantly surrender. In dota2, since there is no surrender, the games are more interesting, because even if you have a bad early game, you can recover and make a comeback. In League you cant, because when you have a bad early game, everyone just assume it is lost and surrender. I played Heroes of newerth for 2 years, the heroes of the storm for 1, then LoL for 1 year and then dota, which I have played for 4 years now
I think League would really benefit from having the DOTA disconnect system + Controlling DC'd Champions While DOTA doing the same with surrender vote. BUT THAT'S JUST IMO
techies is a very complex hero and not many take the work to learn how to use him well, although he seems easy to play, it is easy to lose the game because over time he is easy to kill and does not make many kills, but if you know how to play them You can counter any other hero no matter how long he endures the damage or how fast he is and kill him in seconds

13:54 you can't surrender because if you gave me Natures Prophet in that game I can still solo carry it to a win at this rank.
I'll make sure to call you the next time this happens
You can demo heroes so you dont have to discover them in normal games but hey thats part of the fun in dota
Holy shii. You actually tried The Tech.
Lot's of fun!
Very informative I appreciate your time and effort!!!
I've noticed that sometimes it kinda ruins spells so it's a lil difficult to break the habit
during off cam games I think you should play with a coach during a game so you can learn more stuff
I definitely wouldn't mind on heroes I HAVE played, that way I still got virgin experiences with them
TECHIES VIDEO? Nice.
now this is epic
i needed this. just got off a 9 game lose streak.
i call that another monday
I'm sorry, but do you mean for Nature's Prophet right?
@@Tumultulous nah nah just for Tiny's facet, should have specified. Nature's got nerfed like 2 days ago and his ironwood treant facet is almost useless now
i think you should try pudge and phantom assassin next

one of the main reason I stopped playing League was because as soon as it looked bad, everyone would just instantly surrender.
BUT THAT'S JUST IMO
techies is a very complex hero and not many take the work to learn how to use him well, although he seems easy to play, it is easy to lose the game because over time he is easy to kill and does not make many kills, but if you know how to play them You can counter any other hero no matter how long he endures the damage or how fast he is and kill him in seconds
good luck with the all hero challenge
Good Luck Doing it with me dude >:D C'mon final chance! THAT'S RIGHT I REMEMBER YOU (prob cause the lucky star pfp or the anime name)
@@Tumultulous
Glad you remembered me. Nah I'll wait till Crownfall Act 4 drops cause that's what made me start playing heroes I never played before.
But good luck with Abbadon, Alchemist, and Ancient Apparition since they all play so differently from each other.

@@Tumultulous He takes some time to get used to using his Ulti
u should practice denying too btw cool video
Nature's prophet's real name is furion. He exists in dota 1.
Actually Techies is the only hero who was completely revorked cause he was a menace😂 Like Timo, but one button could delete the whole team in 1 sec and you couldn't finish the game because of this
Teemo is kinda a weird case. He only ever got the tiniest of mini-reworks (went from just PLACING shrooms to throwing them to plant them, so now they not only can be thrown a distance, but can bounce off each other to be planted further) but yeah! I'm seeing a lotta people say Techies was a true MENACE
it physically hurt me to see a bootless techies, their default movement speed was already painful, I dunno how you resisted not buying atleast a brown boots

Man, Nature Prophet is just shitty hero. There are probably a lot of people here who will write something like "NO HE'S COOL, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING, YOU JUST NEED TO %build_name%" No. Don't listen. He's a really bad hero, in 99.9% of cases, picking him up would be a mistake.
I saw a video recently on fun ways to play him. I wish I could watch videos like these BEFORE I try em, but it'd defeat the purpose of these videos. He CAN be super troll & fun, but alas, I was just not able to see the possiblities
