I know it been a year..but if u used the flex seal"which works" have to let cure for many days or you will have the mess of a life time...I use for making a seal kit for stock intake..only let dry for 3 days...was a bad mistake..lmao..pump sucked it right out and made a tar pit mess...BUT if done right, its great!..
How to seal yamaha rideplate
What was the result? Significant reduction in cavitation? Would make a good before/after video...
Yea I was having cavitation issues until I sealed my intake grate properly
what resin did you use to fill the gaps in the intake grate? I’m currently doing the same thing but I’m using flex seal liquid
Alumilite resin. I got it off Amazon

Why did you do it? Is it just to make sure it’s sealed properly or did you take it off because something was stuck in there?
I filled the voids with resin to lessens cavitation. It’s basically a poor man’s pump seal kit
This is the exact model I am looking to buy in March. Love the videos man! Was this a modified grate? Why did you take the grate off?
It’s a factory plate I took off so I could replace the impeller to a solas
