Great video - really professionally done. My wife and I are taking this cruise (our first) in December. Because of your video, we're splurging and going for this suite - 13512 was still available! Thank you for putting together such a great video on the suite and its amenities. We're very excited!
Thanks for the video, we've been offered the chance of staying in 13514, do you know if it's the same suite layout as the one you stayed in, maybe a mirror image ? Also, what (if any) perks or special 'privileges' did you get for staying in this level of suite ?
Sorry, I don't know if the layout is the same or not. You don't really get too many suite "perks". Priority embarkation and check-in at a little side room with some snacks. You get fruit in the cabin and have a butler. I believe you can eat breakfast and lunch in Cagney's. We didn't do any shows so not sure if there was priority seating.
At the end there you say that the port side was able to view the Na Pali coast. Actually both sides can see the coast because it goes to the Na Pali coast and makes a big turnaround so both sides get to see the cliffs.🙂
Correct, since the cruise has to head back to Honolulu. The port side pass was much closer and specifically done for viewing, after the turn the ship is not as close, at least on our cruise it wasn’t.
Going on the ship in the summer. I have a balcony and want to make sure I can see the islands most of the time. What side would you say had the best (longest) views? Especially while in port.
Port is definitely best for viewing Napali coast sail by, which is why we picked port. If you go by lava, that is on the Starboard side but isn't guaranteed and a little far away. For in Port, on our cruise starboard had the most direct view of the islands. But I know on other cruises this could differ by cruise depending on port factors and whether they were doing life saving drills etc.
I'm not sure of the exact size, but the bed is at least as large as a full size mattress (bigger than a twin). My 13 year old (at the time) son slept on it every night and had no issue with the comfort. Definitely better than a sofa bed or converted sofa. Also, in the corner and out of the way so doesn't take up otherwise usable cabin space when down.

We are glad you enjoyed the video and it helped you to make the decision to go with this suite. We loved it and Hawaii and can't wait to go back.

@@Timeless80 Why didn’t you enjoy the cruise?

Is there a second bedroom?
No, the second bed is a Murphy bed in the corner only separated by a curtain. There is no separate bedroom.
How comfortable and how long is the Murphy bed?
I'm not sure of the exact size, but the bed is at least as large as a full size mattress (bigger than a twin).
