our last VIT Vellore vlog ~ your ultimate vacating guide

this closes a very impactful, amazing and adventurous chapter for the both of us as we move out of our hostel rooms... forever this time :(
so for the last time as hostellers, we're here to give you the ultimate hostel vacating guide!
as we say our goodbyes to everything we've loved and not loved very much for the last four years, and as we hugged our friends goodbye, we've realized that we will more than just miss this place we've called home for this past phase of our lives.
most importantly, thank you guys for watching and loving our content and allowing us to make more... couldn't have done any of this without y'all :))
that being said.. as we move on to the next phase of our lives (still part of college), we hope y'all will continue your support :)

The ultimate vacating guide (thanks to our friends for coming up with this list):
• Download the form from Vtop Spotlight.
• Take the printout.
• Fill the required areas.
• Take Sign of your Project Guide in req area.
• Get you parent’s digital sign in the req area.
• Take Sign of Senthil Sir in the end (SWO).
• Take photos of your form and submit it there itself.
• Now Go to hostel office and show those snaps to the warden present there.
• They will give a green and yellow form. (we got only the green one)
• Fill those forms and get the signatures of your Block wardens on those.
• Mess Supervisor will also sign on that form.
• Come back to hostel office again with those forms.
• Submit those forms to Chief Warden and do not forget to take photos of those forms.
• Next, you go to MB-G14 and collect ID Card Tag from there. 240 Rupees have to be paid.
• After this, go to CTS Building-104 to collect your Day Scholar ID Card.
• Go 105 and verify your biometric. (we did not have to do this)
• With this, the procedure is done and tum College se nikaal diye gaye 🤝😌

shorts are allowed in the hostel premises but you cannot wear them around campus otherwise unfortunately. anything below the knee is what is allowed.

we would suggest to not go for non ac. other than that anything is fine. depends on how many people you want in the room.
