I have been saying for years wouldn't it be great to build a dalek. EXTERMINATE. U WILL OBEY OBEY
i don't just hope this becomes a complete kit Hachette does, but i also hope agora picks this up too so we in America can build this too, i remember watching the doctor back in high school and daleks were my favorite villains in the show.
I just wish the Apollo lunar lander and the Harry Potter train would have been made...
I was looking forward to those two builds ..
Best Wayne...
You've got to love that Uncle Lou wants to know about this, considering he as just gotten a full size Dalek. I can live with the colours, but I would have preferred a blue and silver colour scheme from the sixties!
I love watching doctor who
The customization possibilitys for this are near endless
Pretty impressive that it has a LCD screen in the eye so it can look like an iris.
I love all the functions this Dalek has, the opening casing in particular looks very impressive.
It's actually coming out at the end of the year...... I'm already subscribed
Lou must be drooling right about now. Lol
I've just ordered this from hatchette they are offering a full subscription so lets see what happens
I can't wait for R2D2 to have an evil twin displayed alongside him there behind you.
Hiya Wayne would you do a room tour please. I love the Black hole film and saw Vincent what other amazing things do you have? The guards double blaster always looks like a cool project.
I really hope this gets released as a full build one day 🙏
My other half has just had a damp pant moment when I put this on the telly 😂
Wayne model looks really good ps you should make sure the thread of the nut is correct way around. 👍👍👍
I do hope that they will release this Dalek as a full part work subscription as I would love to build this
Hey Wayne I would love to see that in Australia I'm hoping it does come out I like the Daleks
There’s no way this doesn’t come out of trial. Doctor Who is too popular of a franchise for it not too.
It was...not so sure now.
Best model idea ever!
I’ve had an update finally on the dalek! I’ve been shipped out the letter of the trial finishing, but then I have a notification saying next dispatch date is 31st May! Omg I hope this dalek build is happening 😅
I was hoping you’d pick up this subscription trial. Growing up I always wanted my own dalek. 1:1 scale would be perfection but I’ll take 1:2
I hope that they release internationally because some of us on the other side of the pond like Daleks too.
I might use this as a prototype for a life size one 🤔
I would be all over this.....if it was Tom Baker era Dalek.
This would be a great build
There are a few at WH Smiths in Lancaster. Just as you walk through the door. Above the newspapers 👍
Looks good but too expensive !!!! Great vid love the shirt
Sadly for the Whovians across the pond (like myself) we have to wait for the full release (hell, we didn't get the Batman Tumbler)
I hope Hachette's misspelling of "accurate" in their promotional video (see 4:48) isn't indicative of how "acurate" this model will be! 🤣
🤪😀
I hope this build goes into full production! I still can’t believe the Hogwarts Express never went further than the trial. I would have thought that build would have been really popular!
They is 20 in Morrisons in Leeds City Centre
I hope this goes full term, I think it will be pretty neat.
Yes I got caught out on the Thunderbird 2. I haven't seen this one at my local asda but I'll check smiths later in the week and if it is I let you know
They should state it's a trial on the packaging to be honest. You shouldn't have to go to a second source to see if it's a trial or a full build.
Prices are going up thanks to the situation in the Gulf of Hormuz/Aden, preventing shipping from accessing the Suez Canal. My latest pack of the RoboCop build contained a flyer saying that the price per issue will be going up by £1 to cover extra shipping costs.
at least you're still getting them. no cop for me since december
All part work manufacturers probably use email expressions of interest //as well as// physical sales to decide whether to make trials into full builds, so even if the trial isn't in your area or country I'd urge everyone to express interest :)
It's so crazy that they can go through all the effort of designing and making a working prototype and everything and scraping it because not enough interest was shown.
My wife and I are visiting the UK from the US in May. I hope I can see this somewhere still on a shelf. I'm not even picky about getting all of them, I just want one as a cool sample of a news agent version.
Regarding UK news agents... What exactly is that? The term brings to my mind a 1940's stall on a street corner. Are these agents in book stores? Chemist shops? Where do I find this?
If UK paper sizes get bigger with lower numbers, do you have sizes into negative numbers? Wayne said the poster was A0, so I wonder what a larger sheet would be.
A newsagents is exactly like a stationers you would find in an airport selling newspapers, magazines, books , candy etc. We have them everywhere here.
@@WorldofWayneUKAh, thanks Wayne. So like a convenience store, but without the fuel pumps. Given that this is just 4 weeks worth the issues, I'll be surprised if I find them, but hopefully I see some model release I can get as a novelty.
I hope Agora Models picks this up for US distribution. It looks so cool!
THEY better release this in the USA if they do a full run cause theres a lot of Doctor who fans here too and disney+ added those things in their line up so they should even pluto TV has a channel dedicated to doctor who
awesome
You’re gonna need a bigger shed! Lmao
We live on a narrowboat. With. Titanic, Bismark, ET and a Dalek....we're gonna need a bigger boat 😂
@@tabbyshaw7754 Or perhaps a TARDIS maybe
Hoping this will be in my wh smith
The only Doctor Who item that doesn't have the Disney branding
This was long before evil Disney got their grubby little mits on the franchise. Which Russal T Davies by making the modern version woke
I did register online for this just after this video. FYI Just received a package with a Lancaster gift pen and letter staing trial has ended and no charge has been taken.
They usually send the first issues free if you pre registered an interest in the trial. They did that for the Bomber partwork and didn’t charge me. Got the first two issues spare.
Had to wait until the bomber magazine came out properly though. But thought it was a nice touch.
Is this model gonna have problems with stairs ? Or can it fly ? lol ....
i hope hachette do a predator build im prayin🙏
Hopefully it won't be all synthetic rubber with that terrible Big Chap build
Very nice😎😎👍👍
If you wanted fancy a full size this planet earth do them plus a few other things
How often does a trial become a full collection?
The only one I saw that didn't was the Hogwarts Express
@@WorldofWayneUK do you believe it will become a full build as well as the 89 batmobile
I hope they dont exterminate this and conquor the sales
Looks like this would be a very cool model when it's done, but not sure I care quite enough about Daleks to pay the usual high price for it.
This is one I hope takes off, but I have a hard time seeing how they can make this model 100 or so stages.
Hi Wayne what happens if I subscribe on the website if its a trial?
Probably nothing but they will email you when it becomes full run. In some occasions though they do send out the trial issues :D
I saw several copies in WH Smith in Preston Town Centre at the weekend. I was so tempted but the build is going to cost over £1000 if they see it through to completion :/
On TikTok I follow a person called the paper engineer he makes everything out of paper and one happens to be the dalek
Its a bummer that you can't order it as a complete kit
Hi could u also order that on fan home as well
No
1:2 scale? wow
Eye eye wayne LOL
I'd rather have a full scale K-9, lol. I've built a few of those from scratch over the years.
I want it
Wow that be about US$ 2,119.92 and about 35 month. £1,678.60. If i had the cash to buy it, i would.
£1.99 then 138 X £11.99, minimum of £1,656.61 assuming completes and no price increases during the run (140 weeks is around 2yrs and 9 months) - Think I'll skip this even though I'm a Whovian.
Finger's crossed we get the full build on this if they don't they be exterminated 😂
I don't know why you'd want to start this not even knowing if they are going to continue with it.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Question Wayne, why do these companies spend lots of money making the moulds etc for these models then only do a trial on them. Seems a waste of money too me. I'd love this one to go all the way.
I have no idea. I wish that a company rep would explain the method to me.
I have a full size one
Nice
That's all well and good but what about the poor Doctor Who fans in the States?
That's what I was going to say!
N ot ,,in Rochester Kent
I had a very rare 18" high gold RC Dalek But, my HORRIBLE!!!! X STOLE IT!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 amongst other things including my late dad's stuff.. & sadly i cannot replace it & if i could replace it it is going to be EXTREMERLY EXSPENSIVE!!!! Most likely to be well over £350 of sadly i cannot afford & they are too far away 100+ miles away if at all & usually not for sale 😕😮😯😥😟 So i very much doubt i will ever get another in such good condition let alone 1 in not so good condition prices are HUGE!!!! ( FAR TOO MUCH ) SADLY for my income to go & get. Besides travel can be not easy as i am disabled so travel can be a right pain in the backside or worse to that effect. So, i just have to accept i won't get it replaced.
Honestly, I hate the trials. Mainly because I want to see the full builds. If it doesn't go into full production it feels like an unfinished project. That drives me nuts. But love the video anyways, Wayne
Nu series Daleks look like CRAPPY plastic.
