I was hoping to see what the effort is to put the cluster back together with the screw clips behind the dash.. this is my next challange. Nice to know about silcone ror dash repair. Will keep that in mind.. but those clips!!!??
This helped. I need to remove my window washer nozzles & replace the rubber seals on my wipers & I didn’t think I’d be able to do from underneath. Thanks 🙏🏼
There are also two Phillips head bolts holding the heater selector to the dash and two similar bolts holding the e-brake to the dash. Other than that, it was exactly like you said, took all of maybe ten minutes. Nice!
Badass video sir, I was curious can I just remove the metal portion of the dash and paint it? My dash is great it’s the metal that look like garbage 73 Kombi
So easy! Thanks for the video 🙏🏽🤙🏽✌🏽

Thank you for this. I’ve been preparing to a complete tear down/rebuild on a 77 Westy. Trying to compile all of the info I can
Very useful vid. Plus I like at 3:40 "no body likes a dirty crack"! 😂😂😂
Yep people think this is a lot harder than this. Hardest part is disconnecting the plugs. nice job!
Don’t use gloss on the back metal piece. To minimise glare use a flat.
Can you post the cluster cable picture

My 77 one screw to the bottom, one nut to the inside of the top dash..
