Wow! Great little tank project this will be perfect for my 6 year old grandson , I build drivable 2000 lb mini army tanks from steel so he can't help much in the shop but this will be the perfect project for him on his new work bench . Thanks again and Great job!
I was trying to make a Mini RC Tank and I could Never Think Of a way To make the tank turn and Thanks To Your How To Make The remote Part It really Helped Out because I could Understand How The Tank worked But Not the Reverse and Turning. Thanks to this it stopped my Big Problem. =)
I love this idea. With a few tweaks to the design you could have a wireless RC tank of a similar style if you pick up the right stuff from an RC hobby store.

Acha project he. I made it for my science exhibition . Only one thing I made change was the motor. Normal motor won't work, it needs shaft motor to pull the load.

Can we use a DC motor lower than 9Volts like the ones used in toy race cars? if we use one, will it still work? and, can we use any type rubberband?
Cause we attempted to make this for our science project but it seems like the motor we used was too weak. How can we fix this? cause we have to pass the project tommorow.

And, in what other things can we find a 9V motor?
Cause we found out that the toy car motor can't pull the whole thing when put in the tire interior in with the wheels.
Can't a 3Volt motor work?
Are you THAT busy to not answer this? We cant any 9Volt motors in our area and we need to finish our project today 😭

The tank is beautifull but not is RC, RC is Radio Controled and this is Cable controled....
