Beautiful sounds Thomas! Thank you for all the effort you put into creating these performances! I look forward to installing them and making music with them!

Amazing performances. Best sound bank eve, by far. So inspiring. Should be in the factory bank of the synth. Korg? Do you hear me? Can't wait for your next work. Thank you.
The performances in this soundbank should be installed using KORGs Sound librarian for Wavestate, so you need to download and install that from KORGs website. Make sure you follow the installation instructions for the Sound librarian very carefully. The zip-file with the soundbank contains a Set List, a Bundle, and individual Performance files. The first 16 Performances are now available on the Set List buttons at the lower right of the Wavestate panel. Hit shift + Bank B to get to the last Performances in the setlist.
Amazing programming mate! If a person wants to be a synth star he only has to buys a Wavestate...one could give a whole concert with only this baby on the stage, lol.

Perhaps you need to push the “Performance Mod Knobs” button to the left of the knobs. It should be lit for the knobs to control the Performance, and not just the selected layer.
Also, the knob name you see on the screen is the same no matter what the knob actually modulates. The first knob is named Master, even though it might be assigned to modulate the octave.
@@Waveformer Right, I was confused by the fact that the display always shows the default settings (and also nonsense values) for the knobs and not the real ones. Thanks! @Korg: how stupid is that?!?
Just got my WS the other day...making my head spin..lol...QUESTION...Where do the new sounds go? I have seen a few Sound designers on here and not one have mentioned where the products actually import too. Do they bump off factory patches or take up USER spots which I would prefer....thx guys!
It’s actually not possible to overwrite the factory patches, and there’s room for thousands of your own patches, or patches you buy or download for free. You install the patches you buy/download using Korg’s Sound Librarian software for PC and Mac.
@@Waveformer I have read the difficulty to install librarian editor on PC. I’m still running Win 7 on my notebook, which OS is required to make it work flawlessly?
I’d love to try, but don’t have a Jupiter Xm. To create something similar, the synth needs an arpeggiator, and flexible modulation options, like having a random/sample-and-hold LFO modulating filter cutoff, decay, amplitude, or similar.
Hi Thomas, I was trying to purchase your collection, but the purchase link doesn’t work on the website. Is this still available? Thank you! Beautiful sounding performances.
@@DonPatrivio Its DONE !! V.2.0 now imports samples - So I just bought the WS as I was waiting for this. We now enter the unlimited infinity of soundscapes....get ready for VOL 3 !!
To install the Soundbank, you need the Korg Wavestate Sound Librarian connected to your Wavestate. If that doesn’t work in the latest version of Windows, then you can’t install any sound banks. So please check that you can run the Sound Librarian and that it can connect to the Wavestate before buying this sound bank.
The last time I tried (about two weeks ago), the librarian still did not work on the latest version of Win10. There's nothing we can do until Korg fixes it on their end.
That’s too bad. Dan (one of those who designed the synth for Korg) mentioned in a post that this should be fixed in an upcoming Windows release, so fingers crossed. 🤞🏻
Absolutely top notch...I will be getting this. I have a small question....is it possible to 'lock' a layer? so if I have an arp on layer 1, can I play my other layers 'live' without affecting it?
There’s no lock function for a layer. But you can assign different MIDI channels to each layer, connect another MIDI keyboard to it, and play the arp on one keyboard and the other layers on the other keyboard. Also, many of the performances in this sound bank uses different keyboard ranges for the different layers, so a bass arp might only react to the keys in the lower octave of the keyboard, and a pad or solo layer might only react to the keys in the upper octaves of the keyboard.
@@Waveformer Thanks your you reply, much appreciated. Ok, got it....as soon as you mentioned that, the Microfreak came to mind so I will experiment a bit with that using a Midi channel. You have been a huge inspiration....thank you!!!!
Thank you for your amazing work on this synth. You single handedly convinced me to get one last week and I have it for a few days. I will try to install the librarian so I can buy your wonderful patches. I have a problem, though. Do you know how to get the arpeggiator to sync to the beat when it is run by an external MIDI clock? My Wavestate accepts the external clock and its speed but it is not in step with the start of each measure, so it is not locked to the beat with other devices which are perfectly in sync. My master clock is a vintage Roland MC-500 MK2. Is there a MIDI CC message that can be sent to the Wavestate at the beginning of a measure to tell it to start the arpeggiator on the beat? Thanks for answering if you can!
@@Waveformer Thank you! Thank you! I think your idea is working! It starts the arpeggiator right at the beginning at stays in sync. Brilliant. I wouldn't have thought about it without you.

Thanks for answering if you can!
Try sending a single Note On MIDI message from your MC-500 to the Wavestate at the very beginning of your song 🙂. C-3 for instance.
@@Waveformer Thank you! Thank you! I think your idea is working! It starts the arpeggiator right at the beginning at stays in sync. Brilliant. I wouldn't have thought about it without you.
hello do you make price if i buy vol 1 and 2 ??
Hi Dave. I don’t have a bundle price, unfortunately :-).
Awesome! Are these compatible with the Wavestation EX?
No, unfortunately not. The sound architecture of the Wavestation EX is different from the Wavestate, even though there are lots of similarities.
Hi, amazing sounds, was wondering can I load this bank into the wavestate native?
Hi Mark. Yes, all patches are tested with the Wavestate Native VST and sound identical to the Wavestate hardware synthesizer.
@@Waveformer all loaded straight away no problems at all. In fact the only problem I had was stopping playing the patches. They sound amazing absolutely love the phaser sounds on some of the patches epic.😎👍
Wow. Is it possible to do a similar bank for the novation circuit? You still have your circuit?
I actually have two Circuits 😀. It’s a good suggestion. The Circuit is great for the Berlin School type of music. Can’t promise anything, though. It takes a lot of time to create sound banks, and I must have some time for jamming as well 😀.
These are beautiful ! Will they work with the new Korg Wavestate VST?
Yes, they work very well with the Wavestate Native, both the standalone version and the VST.
@@Waveformer Excellent! Thank you!
@@Waveformer FYI, I just purchased both of your Sound Banks. I look forward to using them! :)
@@derekbaker3279 thanks a lot for your support :-). Hope you’ll like them.
The banks work with firmware version 2?
Yes :-).
Sounds to me as a perfect arpeggiator machine...just thinking out loud; why spending loads of money on an eurorack for playing ambient if you can have this...
