24:31 jace is a rock Lander fan 🎉🎉🎉 me too lol 😝
I feel the same way about that dang slang!
NICE !!! 🤙🏾42’s 🤣😂😬Better Save up For More Broken Drive Line Parts 😳🔧
Hi Michelle, You're still not shipping Flag Poles, correct?
Got me a pair off the matco truck they are ok
Grayden low key trash talking Jase is funny. 😂
Jase will make him pay, Grayden will learn not to open mouth insert wallet.
What are brothers for.
Grayden is learning the dangers of betting.
Brotherly love haha
Hey Phil, What part of Bama? CULLMAN,AL HERE
I think this is one of the best father
son‘s outing videos you guys have done
Fab Rats deserves a million followers - come on folks lets help them out !
I wouldnt worry about painting it, just get some VGG Patina clear coat and protect it. You dont even have to spray it, you can rub it on with paper towels. I think it would look good with a flat/satin clear.
Flat would look amazing!! I love spraying flat clear over my fab work instead of covering up the natural beauty with paint.
Clear coat only. It’s iconic.
VGG Shine Juice.
Agree!
Yep. Paint jobs are for posers.
Props to your junior cameraman. He did not miss a shot. Well done lad. Hunter, you may have some competition!
FYI Grader’s has been a camera man longer than Hunter so there’s that…..
Graders is the best special guest! What a great kid!
I spent about a year living with my grandparents when I was 14. At that time you could get a learners permit at 15, so that at 16 you could get a full drivers license.
I helped my grandfather grow his garden, 7 acres, and plant 75 fruit trees.
My grandfather had a '69 Dodge Adventurer truck. He gave me the truck for working in the garden all summer.
During the summer I would work on the truck after everything else was done. It was so neat to drive my own truck when I got my license.
It so happens that I learned to drive in the same truck when I was 10 & 11 when my grandparents lived in Louisiana.
Watching you all do this work with the Kid reminds me of those times.
She has precious memories for the rest of time. Abd you two are the greatest for giving them to her for her.
The Grader Man's commentary is Gold 😂
Greyden gets the shots even though it'll cost him all the money😂
He’s priceless! Super smart kid.
Wow! Did ya'll see Paul walk over to that toolbox and immediately put his hand on a tape measure? No hunting around the shop for a couple of minutes looking for one. I guess receiving over a dozen of them as gifts from fans has made a difference.
40 + at last count...
Listeners opened the tap..!
Yeah, he's probably tripping over them now. 😂
@@DB-yj3qcit's kind of hard to tell but, Paul is a guy that knows where his feet are going to go when he walks, it's a virtue that comes from doing underground conduit for several years. Guys like us we bump our heads a lot though.
Wheeling with the boys = priceless. Something tells me @FabRats and a @Coltbuildit episode would be fantastic. Two great, fun personalities. Thank you for bringing us along!
Watching Grayden grow up before my eyes makes me miss when my kids were little!
I think you better put a roll cage/bar on the Dakota, he might need it.
I was just saying, I think if nothing else it may help him be more confident when things start to feel tippy.
Seat belts are apparently optional.
Graydon is a good kid, I have a son the same age. Good to see Paul out with his boys. Fun times wheelin !
I am 57 and never stop learning! I work in commercial construction, have been for 30 years, find myself in crazy situations daily, and watching your channel not only makes me happy, but teaches me little thing here and there, but more importantly, reminds me to GO FOR IT! ;) Thank you for that! You help me to rage against the dying of the light! LOL!
The stuff gets fun when you get older. Oh and 57 aint that old man.
Grader’s “thats for you comment”😂 had me dieing. Oh the brotherly love they have! Love to see it
One of your best programs in my opinion. The interaction that you have with your two boys is priceless.
Your kiddos are so lucky to have a dad like you. These are memories that will last forever!
Wheeling with the boys…priceless!!
1:50, agreed, this new generation is special for sure
That Dakota is very capable. Love the FJ with the Wheels and bigger tires
The Dakota looks amazing & wheels great . & not everyone has them , different.
I'd love to see them Bob and dovetail the bed I think it would help it be even more capable, came out nice though great first crawler rig for him to get comfortable in. I think if he's going to crawl it a bunch a cage inside may make him a bit more confident when it starts getting tippy
That FJ looks great on 42’s, Paul
What he said 👏
Looks like a Rzr two seater on 35s! All tire.
Hey Jason that rig you have is AWESOME I LOVE IT and I’m 67 years old lol very cool 😎
Size does matter eh!!!!! For tires
Graders is a good little cameraman 😮him low key trash talking his brother was hilarious😂😂 the yota on 42s looks mean and awesome ❤❤❤
I'm usually someone who likes to see a vehicle painted, but the FJ looks good now
Anything involving Paul and Rory has got to be good....can't wait for that vid..!!!
Sean needs his own offroad rig, Paul i think yall should get him something nice for all he does for the shop!
I think they should do a nice squarebody build for a Sean Rig.
@@caseyrenner7024 Yessir, i mean its only fair everyone has a rig even Ben got one
That pickup proved it’s ready for some wheeling 😊
Paul has to be in his glory with those boy's following in his tracks😊😊. This channel Rocks !!
I was impressed with the Dakota, well done.
The FJ45 is now BIG FOOT! It looks sharp ! Hell yes !
Paul says, "I don't know how much more finished it could be, the air conditioning blows cold inside." Truer words have never been spoken.
Nothing better than wheeling with your boys. 💪❤️👍🏼
Family. That's what makes the cool parts really cool.
I think Paul got a dose of "Tire Envy" at 24 Hell and Back. These tires didn't just change the game, it made the old game obsolete.
Love the builds but its the family's interaction that makes this channel work. Doing road trip this summer, hoping to meet y'all as well as Merlin, Chad and Rory, all folks I watch constantly. Love y'all
The FJ is with out a doubt my favorite rock crawler on TH-cam hands down ❤
Ryan Liggett at beadlock market place is the man. Any wheel or tire needs for any vehicle he can get you sorted
Thanks man!
That Dakota did awesome!!!
Lol @ 21:00 "I just screwed up didn't I"
Great job teaching Dad . You are truly a roll model for your boys .
I really dig the not painted thing. It proves a thing doesn’t have to be perfect to enjoy it.
The old Dakota did pretty darn good 👍
Thank you for the visit today. Meeting Paul, Michelle, Sean, and Grandma was great...such a genuinely nice group of people. This has been on our bucket list. From the ones that finally put a pin in Nebraska 😊 ps..the Fab Rat Burger is delicious!
Grayden seems to be growing up to be a fine respectable young man. He’ll do neat stuff.
Seeing Paul all smiley about his new 42s and tires on the Yota was awesome!!! Also it was nice seeing the little fella out with dad, losing cash to his old bro! (He'll learn, in due time ha!). Finally wanted to add that seeing Jace wheeling looking a little less than confident reminded me completely of Clark Kent because I've now associated Jace with all his basketball highlights and his display of grace and athleticisms, with all those dunks! Seeing him laidback, reserve and just rock crawling made me consider if I didn't know of him and saw him out on the trails, I wouldn't have ever imagined he played basketball or be good at it, Haha, so the saying, never judge a book by its cover, certainly seems like a legit, valuable lesson to teach the little ones, as some of us adults occasionally need reminding of that!
The smile on Paul's face when he was just crawling up stuff he hasn't been able to go up WAS Priceless lol. Tires are everything and THEY LOOK AWESOME PAUL. Thanks for an Awesome video guy's can't wait for the next one.
Paul's driving skills never cease to impress me!
It’s really awesome that you take your kids every time you can. I wish they could go out and do what we did when we were young. 😉
Smiles per miles was very high on this trip. It's great to see all thr teachable moments and kids that listen. Keep up the good work!!!
Sandrail work is all related it all goes hand in hand! Any video fabrats puts out is gold!
"Need" is such a relative term.
Also, patina is 100% a valid finish for a vehicle. Have Robby spray a matte clear finish and you're golden.
That FJ45 would look WAY better painted!! Can't wait to see that happen. Also I think Robby would be excited too to do it.
That little dodge is bad. Jace was all smiles😂. ❤❤
FJ is even more of a beast now ! The Dakota also did awesome
Good camera work and commentary Graders! Chase you will be a crawler in no time .
I think your the Bob Ross of four wheeling you are always so calm. 😊
Never bet against a Paul Cox build. The man knows his craft knows his hobby. I really enjoy how you interact with your boys family and your friends. Wholesome family videos I can sit back with my grandsons and watch. Long time viewer. My wife and I always look forward to your videos your builds and what’s next. Such a Respectful bunch of boys Michelle and Paul have raised. I’m a father of two sons now in there thirties it is always heartfelt watching a father and his sons work so closely. Much love and respect from London Ontario Canada.
Was gonna mention that Grader man should better than betting against his dad-built stuff.
Grayden makes a great camera op, love the sly little commentary that goes along with his work. Taking a leaf out of hunters book there 😂❤
Tires and rims make every right. From muscle cars to rock crawlers!! Love them.
Your boys are fortunate to have a dad that spends fun times with them. So many young men would love to have an opportunity to go wheeling like that.
Good day wheeling with your boys. Only thing missing is Landon.
Ive always noticed that Mike on Rory's channel runs huge tires on his old blazer and seems to crawl up easier than the other drivers that are with him. Sure seems those huge tires have made a difference on the FJ as well, good job Fabrats
Good to see you teaching your kids how to wheel their vehicle
Yes Paul, please paint it! Doesn't have to be fancy, we know it's gonna take a beating. Rattle-can would do. And your stickers would stand out better. Just one old man's opinion😉
Great video , don't forget to make yourself a socket to stay with the rig to undo the tyres.
Spent a couple of days with some old boys out of Yuma up at Parker with heavily built Jeeps on those Treps.
I was amazed at how well those tires worked!
Get used to flat spotted tires in the morning, but they smooth out in a bit.
Cool how they grow at highway speeds.
But, oh, the price!
Yes on the price... I looked into a set back when they started selling them and I wasn't looking at that large of sizes. 😢
Thanks for keeping your channel real. Drama needs to stay in drama school.
Good times with the kids is the best time. Thanks.
You turned the beast into a killer beast. Jace did a good job with his Dakota.
Some great quality time together. Great to see.
Love the video's and the trucks! That being said as a Dad who is in a 4x4 club, Paul please make them boys where there seat belts while the rig is moving....we don't always where a harness but always have our lap belts on when the truck is moving!! Keep up the great work!!
I was a Tech and Safety Inspector for 50 years. Raced my own buggy and won a championship. Been involved in race teams since I was 4 years old. Been playing offroad since 1965 when I got my 1st ride offroad in a VW buggy, a Burro with the guy who was the Chief of Tech for the original NORRA for the Mexican 1000. He crawled me up the face of a rocky hill above Willow Springs Raceway that I've never seen scaled by any other vehicle before or since. Been 4 wheelin in all sorts of vehicles from Jeeps to pickups with big blocks to you name it since the early 70s. In all that time I've seen vastly more serious injuries and deaths among the play crowd than among the racers. Spent some time driving a tow truck for a living. Saw a huge difference in results with belts vs no belts. I no longer have any sympathy for those who perish to Terminal Stupidity. I've seen people die in 4x4s when the guy with the camera had just walked past them they were going so slow. Low speed is no guarantee of safety., even though you feel safer than at speed. Going to Glamis? That's a dangerous place. I've heard a thousand times how the sand is soft, you can't get hurt on it. But of all the places I've been involved in motorsports Glamis is the most dangerous.
That FJ looks killer with those tires and wheels.
Grades did some fantastic cam work. Jace is building confidence. Great day out, dad and sons...thx
Thanks for bringin us out. So cool to spend a day with you and the boys. Just wheeling 😊❤ it's a great day when you dont tear shit up!!
Good morning everyone and thumbs UP to Fab Rats!
Paul DO NOT PAINT THE FJ Cruiser. It has become an iconic off road classic. Painting it would be like throwing a coat of latex paint on the Sistine Chapel.
by far my favorite rig on youtube. total dream rig.
You've got some great boys there Paul. They are a tribute to pretty good parenting.
A nice overland rack and tent on that Dakota could make it real nice for some of those longer 4X trips
Don't you dare paint the FJ
Good to see the B Ball star have some fun with Dad.
Awesome video! A dad with his boys…..can’t get much better than that. 💪🏼
Please do not paint the FJ. Once you start that path you will need to change your name. Fab Powder Puffs...... Just saying.
The boys did great on the trail, great too see.
Shiny paint causes stress! We love it the way it is, one of a kind!❤
That's awesome. Training the kids. Proud dad moment
This was one of my fav FabRat videos. Love the new 42s on the Yota.
The 42s is just what the FJ needed! Graydon is such a good camera, man. He needs to stick with that and not bet on the Dakotas failing! Paul & Co. Built a durable truck! Now Graydons piggybank is empty and needs to work on filling it up again. Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
The 42’s look great!!! The Mickeys are really gonna look AWESOME!!!
Grayden did great. Love the smack talk too.
Great father, son time. And learning experience 👍
I love to see your youngest in a video. He always has something funny to say.
What an awesome day with boys!. It is cool when you can share your passion for something with your kids and spend some quality time together . Only makes it that much better when they develop an interest in that passion. Again , what a great day!
I vote to leave the battle scars on the FJ just as they are without a snazzy paint job. Paul, I love how you teach your boys and Hunter the driving skills you have. These are priceless times and lessons.
4:15 a rare sighting of Paul using a torque wrench
My husband is a big fan of the show. I'm sitting behind him. He is watching this episode and leaning to help you maneuver though the trail. Lol.
He said "just like when he watches Bullitt" again LOL 😆
Dont paint the FJ or any of the other builds. You painted the wrecker and your dont wanna get it dirty. You paint the FJ and you stop wheelin it. Love the channel👍
NO WHERES THE SANDRAILS ??? PLEASE MORE 😂❤ you have build some awesome machines
A. Don’t paint it.
B. Literally listening to this on my Raycon’s. 👊🏻
The FJ is now officially a Beast!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
It definitely counts as finished if the AC is nice and cold on the inside!
