Honestly that is true! Being blind opens more possibilities of seeing things in another way rather than see the cover, if that makes sense. Like with relationships. Not saying being blind is good but when someone can’t see the person and go by their personality it makes love so much better just knowing that the person loves you and it’s not all about looks and more about who we are inside. People are messed up about looks but it’s human nature and we sometimes can’t help it. But yes this quote would be a great quote of seeing the bigger picture with other senses and such other than just sight in general!

not gonna lie the entire Starbucks scene I was literally sobbing. we truly don't consider those that are blind a lot of the times and it's so sad bc it doesn't take much to make them happy. I actually had to stop the video and cry bc I feel so bad that I'm not aware or conscious of these things

This had the same effect on me. I remember seeing a blind girl on campus struggling to navigate some tape put up for construction. I felt too awkward to help her and I feel like such an asshole now. Another time I saw the same girl's dog get distracted by some chick who was touching it (but walking by and touching the dog) and the dog faltered and led its human into oncoming people and into a bench.

In the first part where they sat down she did mention she can see outlines upon a space of light. So if theres a window she can tell theres a person there by seeing an outline.
She's said that she can see shadows if they're in front of a bright light. So since they're outside and all that with the sunlight, she can probably tell where their heads are, etc

The saddest part is when Molly starts asking why his 2nd book is not on audible and she still constantly keeps a smile on. The tears just started running. Okay for me, I have extreme fear of waking up one day and not being able to see anything and everything and I’d feel really sad and frustrated.
