WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

The Marcel Fisser Band certainly deserves recognition for their amazing work. It is not surprising that they have shared in many other artists gold and platinum awards for their songs and albums.
Cover Floor is much cooler than the original, Floor is a goddess, everything she sings becomes divine.
Yes, this is a Masterpiece! Floor really looks and sounds like a true Goddess. And she's just recovering from a surgery 😳. ⛄👍

I like how even though her voice is powerful, she pretty much keeps it light and soft the whole time, and just mixes really. It’s just focused on beauty and lightness and emotion.
And this arrangement of hers really build up the anticipation and the chill factor!

They've uploaded every singer's performance from this day and I think you should definitely check out Buddy Vedder "Wijs me de weg" (this guy has such a BEAUTIFUL voice...!) and Romy Monteiro "Het duurt nu al een jaar" (not quite my genre, but her voice REALLY surprised me so well ♥), from the same episode. You'd sure enjoy their vocals a lot (I guess? xD).
(Btw: Nothing wrong with talking during a video, as long as it's during pauses lol. People who wanna here the full song can go watch the original video. I personally don't get why people are watching reaction videos and then complain about the person who made the video actually... well... REACTING. Just do however you please! It's your channel, after all. Didn't mind hearing Euflooria twice though xD)

I always enjoy seeing a genuine, emotional reaction, and yours is no exception. It's impossible not to be emotionally invested, listening to any of Floor's performances. This woman was born to perform. It is so effortless for her. Of course, we all know she has put in years of practice, training and live performances in order to make it seem effortless. Even when she is belting the high notes, there is not a trace of stress on her face. She is totally relaxed, but absolutely into it. Yet another song which Floor has put her stamp on and, (imo), improved immeasurably. I love the upward slide, about 3/4 of the way through. Pitch perfect. Euphoric indeed...

I must confess, I hate the eurovision song contest. In my eyes, this is a political farce. And I did not know the original knowingly (maybe I have already heard but forgotten. Because mainstream stuff) BUT: as soon as the name Floor Jansen and cover appears, all alarm bells ring with me! Good work. Keep it up.
