Pro Tip : Engineers with minesweepers can detect mines, but any engineer can sweep mines, they just need another engineer squad with a sweeper to detect it.
Another pro tip : If the mine is in a dangerous location (i.e with enemies close by, with a machine gun or emplacement looking at it), you can simply use attack ground from a unit that fires explosive shells like tanks or mortars on the mine to kill it from range.
Even more SUPER MEGA PRO tip:
Plant mines at your side of the enemy's mines. So, there would be 2 explosions instead of one.
Also, if enemy is trying to defuse your minefield: use mortar or another explosives, so, enemy would be damaged from both sources:
mines and mortar mines

If you're fighting with minesweeper engineers you're doing something horribly wrong
I was a combat engineer for the US Army just so you guys are aware there are multiple fields of engineer. 12 Bravo combat engineer 12 November horizontal Construction 12 Charlie they build Bridges over rivers kind of a big deal. Your combat engineers the 12 Bravo are the shitkickers those are the kings of the castle. You want stuff blown up you want doors kicked in you want breach blankets and C4 you call the 12 Bravos

Only DAK faction. As Wehrmacht they are different. They only have MG and nadelauncher upgrade and they can learn a skill when they get vet. Anyway nice tip for beginners 😁

All those special features such as engineer addons are pretty much useless. Because by the time you deploy those, the enemy will entrench you. There's very little time to waste. Sometimes, it's better to position your military rather than bother with these tiny things that require precision and time.
nah, macroing mines is a must for competitive play, use engineer for mines detection and mortar to clear them.

Yeah the reviews are mixed to say the least. Game is fun but it looks sounds and feels cheap.
I am playing online only and its look and sound is good enough. AI is waste of time, because of resource bonuses.

You don't have Macro so you can focus on front lines.
Using abilities isn't demanding, coz you almost always see units. Starcraft is way more demanding and dawn of war too.

For some reason COH2 wont play on my PC
dumbest game I legit played for 10 min.. the first cut scene where they first engage is literally cringey these guys are 10 feet apart missing 80 percent of their shots....please tell me that's just for beginners and later in game the engagement distance can be further
CoH 3 is only gay. No good Game at all.
