@@thatcher8781in Company of Heroes 2 there was a fourth level called negative cover like OP said. It makes a lot of sense actually because it punishes infantry units for standing on roads because they have zero protection whatsoever even compared to a small bush area. So it makes sense in this context

coh3 has a bug where the red cover is applied when it is a hard cover.
Are the creators aware of this?
This game makes me angry just by covering it.

Its based on hight too, if the enemy has the high ground in a battle you will get res cover anyway
