i know astel jokes around a lot, but i feel that ever since the mad maggie arc people have been overlooking his sensitivity and kindness, you'll understand him a lot better if you see his early clips
People have been doing that even before then. The Vtuber community has a tendency to turn people into meme versions of themselves instead of watching the person as they are. I do miss some of the now inactive clippers who clipped some of the more human and down-to-earth moments of him and other Holostars as well. But those can be difficult sometimes, since you have to get the nuance just right, and most tl clippers are still growing in JP or even EN comprehension. You can only be grateful for the clippers that are still around volunteering their time, usually without pay, to share the moments they can. The silly moments are definitely the easiest and most eye-catching. At least the attention means more people will actually check out their streams and see many more sides of that person, not just the meme.
