I have a rubber floor mat that has a few 'bubbles' where the glue let go of the floor. My idea is to drill a hole, fill it with glue and put something heavy on it. Is this the method you would recommend or do you have a better professional advice? Thanks!
Kirk Meyers I’m not absolutely sure but because the glue is applied to both sides and allowed to dry it is working like a contact cement. Once it is in place to don’t have the option to reposition it. It’s very similar to the glue used with Formica.

Is that Roberts 2001 water proof ? Building a pond out of wood using plywood and 2x4 going lay down rubber on to it. What would you use?

Some materials require the glue to be tacky. Mostly pressure sensitive adhesives.
Randy Geyer you never glue both sides. Glue just needs to be tacky
