I have the same Issue, never sure how to load it out for EDC. I just turned mine into an Office Kit. Pen, Pencil, Sharpie, Small Note Pad and a few paper clips, binder clips and rubber bands with my business cards in the zipper compartment. Good for Jobsite Visits.

I've been eyeing the Viperade VE16 because it has a back pocket that a Knipex 4 or 5 inch will fit in. This one's nice. I couldn't figure out front straps on these either.
Nice, the VE16 looks like an improved version of this one with the added pocket in the front and loop panel. Could do without the straps since they don’t serve much purpose but a pretty minor gripe overall. Thanks for checking it out!
You said the bottom attachment points were not usable I sent the link three times to show how it uses the molle system attachment clips but it keeps automatically erasing
I lost my dime awhile ago but I have a lot of similar sized multitools so I can check those this afternoon. We’re you wanting to check in the outside slots I’m assuming or did you mean in the zippered portion?
