I want one! My 2004 Nissan Sentra still works great this 2018! Love it! It even beats the engine of Toyota Innova. After 3 years it can't climb up Antipolo. My cousin has one. While my Nissan still has the power. It's casa maintained! Peace out! Plus my Aircon stays cold all the time.
Nissan, please bring this to the U.S. in limited numbers. Because we all know people will buy CUV's first and formost.
Basically, Navara based SUV.
For safety features Yes to the Terra.
The 3rd row set of Terra need improvement not only small children can use, you cannot extend your feet if your height above 5 inches tall. If your travelling in short distance is okay but for longer time you cannot stretch your legs .
I bought one last month and so far i am very satisfied. Before buying, i look around first. I checked the Fortuner, MUX, Montero but i decided to get the Terra. Im glad i did. By the way my other car is Lexus Rx350.

In Indonesia, Toyota Fortuner is still in the best sale for SUV class with 7 seater and then Pajero Sport. I am not sure Nissan Terra can defeat Fortuner and Pajero. For example New Nissan X Trail also is not good in sale in Indonesia although design and feature of New Nissan X Trail is very good.

I really like the exterior design, it's simple yet shows presence. Also it shares some visuals elements from its older brother the Patrol thus defines its identity a Nissan.
The Fortuner looks beautiful but has effeminate face for an SUV and very long chin. Montero (Pajiro Sport) looks very ugly from the rear. Isuzu Mu-x and Chevy Trailblazer has unsettling looks from the sides. Everest looks great but would be better to share key visuals from its american cousins, Expedition and Explorer; more boxy and bigger grills.
The more reviews I check concerning the Terra the more better I get to like it. Fortuner and Montero have metrosexual looks which to me doesn’t embody the aura of a true SUV eventually losing their masculinity in place of an eventual effeminate appearance. I’d go further to say that the Fortuner and Montero are pretentious SUV’s in terms of exterior and almost employs the same design direction as that of the Innova except being taller. If you think the Terra has a plasticky dashboard then what about the trailblazer? Anyway, the leather parts of the Terra eventually balances off the plasticky ratio tastefully and leather seats are top notch especially the adjustment control features. Having an overhead entertainment screen is actually a good selling point for long rides for kids to enjoy. Rest of it’s hi-tech features are plus points. To those complaining about rear drum breaks, in addle shifters etc... well gee who’s going to race this anyway setting that it’s just fits a Dad personality with family oriented activities in mind. It’s wading depth is the most compared to other SUV’s, the back mirror and surround cameras non-existent on others. I like it every time they say the Terra reminds them of a smaller Patrol because that's Exactly the SUV type I want. Considering getting one very soon.

before doing a review, be sure to know the exact specs. cargo is same with fortuner and montero??? even does two vehicles does not have same cargo space.

May Montero ako pero bilib ako sa Isuzu crosswind ko, eleven years bago ako nagpalit ng condenser at evaporator ko, at wala gaanong sira, yun lang mausok kasi Euro2 pa ang Crosswind at mainggay ang makina dun kilala ang Isuzu pero very reliable sya. 2004 XUV pero nabenta ko pa ng 450k, maganda pa kasi ang kulay at wala talagang tagas sa ilalim yun(no leaks).

It’s a value for money SUV. It has the 2nd lowest engine displacement of 2200cc & among the top efficient fuel vehicles in the recently concluded Petron Tri Action Performance Run-Diesel edition. While the price tag is higher than its competitors, it has the devices that promote security & safety to both driver & passengers.

@@sigfredbriones7132 Ford will never be good. I have 7 year old Toyota Fortuner 4x4 and a 10 year old Navava 4x4, still running in perfect condition. Hanep ang aircon ng Nissan sobrang lamig na matibay. No major trouble, the usual maintenance lang. My brother has a 5 year old Ford Expedition 4x4 ang dami na ng problema and the spare parts are more expensive. Now, i am about to try the Nissan Terra because of the good experience on the Navara.
I must respect the opinions of others even if I disagree with them.
Disadvantages of Everest:
1. PMS on casa is ridiculously pricey compared to its competitors
2. Ford's reliability issues where major problems usually come out when your warranty is over, next thing you know is you're quoted with 6 figures price for the repair.
3. Resale value depreciates a*LOT* more compared to its competitors
That's all I'm disappointed of

Korek k jan brother! Same thought, I experienced it too. Fortuner can't even beat sta. fe-crdi when it comes to speed. But then again, they are not on the same class. The fortuner being a mid-size suv and the Sta. Fe a compact suv. Maybe that affects the comparison. Peace!

The 10 speed gearbox of the raptor has some huge problems already and 1000 units needs to be recalled.
How reliable are the 2.5 motors?
They're not selling it in the first world countries. Only in their dumping grounds. Its about time to bring in the 2.3L, Nissan's latest turbo-diesel engine for the segment.

It really doesn't Matter with other people whom consider the Terra’s other features lacking from other more popular SUV’s. It really depends on preferences.

Ford Everest looks good but doesn't have a reliable engine compared to Toyota and Nissans. Ford's are known to have the most engine issues and parts worning out quick.
TRUTH-XPOSED i am the happy customer of ford Everest/ endeavour of every generation 2005, 2008,2012 one after the other every model i drove more than 100000 km and sold, i didn’t find any problem with engine or gearbox i simply didn’t find any problem in the car just paid 10k km service. that’s my personal experience now planing to purchase the latest model.

Nope not CVT. It has a 7 speed auto. Most SUVs sold here are diesel because they're a lot more fuel efficient. Diesel is also cheaper here. Diesel SUVs sell so much better than gasoline powered SUVs that the terra isn't even offered with a gasoline engine locally. Thanks for watching the video and for the comment :)

Uhm laging similar ang SUV at pickups sa kahit anong brand noon pa man. Magkapatid lagi yan. Trailblazer/Colorado, Fortuner/Hilux, Terra/Navara, MU-X/D-Max, Everest/Ranger, Montero/Strada, etc. Ngayon lang nagkaiba yung Fortuner at Hilux sa design, same with Montero and Strada (Though yung upcoming refreshed Strada eh magging kamukha narin ni Montero).

Adriane Cantill Meh, nobody will prefer the mu-X since the engine is way too noisy. Although the 1.9 RZ4E is the quieter though.

This car may be no-nonsense in use and features. But man! It is so dull in design. It has no kind of attractive in it. Both Fortuner and Mitsubishi attract eyes. This doesn´t. All the styling is so 15 year old!
