i think an important thing to note about when Medic shoots Spy is how it contextualizes Spy's character. like think about it, why does he ever get angry at anyone in the film? why does he kill Archibald? why does Medic kill him at that point in the speech? it's because Spy is just as if not more self serving than Archibald. he only gets angry when he's inconvenienced regardless of why it happens and the more he suffers the more he hates those involved. he hated Arch not because Arch was evil or wrong but because he suffered burns and gunshots trying to save him same thing with Soldier and Medic as their tangential relation to the situation granted them part of his hate Medic seemed to not only want to kill Spy but waited for the moment were Spy laid his true intentions bare, he wanted to use the funeral to announce his promotion and being the speaker he would appear to be the only one to pick for the position. he reaches the heights he wanted, his greed was nearly satisfied... and then he gets knocked down
he also killed archibald because he saw him on the screen on the phone. figuring out that archibald was in hiding. not kidnapped. meaning spy wasted his time and got wounds for nothing.
So, on that part where "Is this all in their head" or "Are they all dead" I mean I would say technically, but that they've been brought back to life so many times to the point where they've repeatedly lost themselves before rebuilding themselves to the point where they forgot what and who they were fighting for and now just fight for their respective company for no other reason than to fight. Emesis Blue, though, brings this whole thing to a proper end. The Medic at the end finally moves on with Scout, Spy, and Soldier move on, Pyro moves on, Heavy move on, Engineer moves on, Demoman moves on, and the Sniper moves on. They all move on from their forced resurrections to whatever afterlife they may go to, which considering everything they've done and been put through is probably going to be a purgatory-like existence where they're not at Heaven's Gate but they can make it up there.

A really like what they did with soldier in the video, going from a comic-relief character to basically mentally scarred & broken by what he witnessed finally being done to him for so long. It does remind me of the a certain development in the 'patriotic' soldier after going off-shores to war, finally returning a broken mess now that they're no longer fully needed, nor really wanted for that matter. Soldier at the end of the video no longer has a purpose, his entire life was to be used, abused, and discarded as a weapon. It's all gone now, and soldier just simply cannot forget the memories which he's unintentionally hidden for so long. I would love a sequel to fortress films, more so following what soldier's life will be after these events.

Also, I remember having some really bad gender dysphoria before, and now it is gone. Like, completely gone. And shortly afterward, I developed zero interest in transitioning. Is that normal for transgender people, to one day want to transition but then the next, not really caring? Am I actually genderfluid or non-binary? Or am I just plain crazy, with all of the voices in my head telling me to not or else they'll shoot my brains out again, and again, and again as I constantly feel that every single time my body weakness and like my whole body is bleeding? I might just be crazy.

The lines “It’s eternity in there” and “it’s longer than you think” are from a short Stephen King story from 1981 called “The Jaunt.” It’s actually the main inspiration for Emesis Blue. The only difference is the device. In The Jaunt is a teleportation device instead of a Respawn Machine. But it’s still the same thing basically. It has a disturbing ending to it so I highly recommend reading it!

Scout: walking atomic waste Medic: What was he doing in the 45's? Heavy: Sandwich addiction Spy: Extreme lung cancer Engineer: Texan Midget Sniper: Normal Soldier: Severe lead poison Pyro.
The thing is: Jane’s (soldier) helmet is a symbol of some sort as well. As time goes on, Soldier’s helmet tilts more upward, revealing more of his eyes. This symbolizes that the more soldier is at Conagher Slaughterhouse, the more aware of the truth he gets. Which shows through how much his eyes are shown. At the beginning, he was kinda of like the TF2 soldier. Goofy, silly and serious. But we can see his change throughout. Another Thing.. Soldier at the end removes his helmet, revealing that he is fully aware of the truth. Referencing back to what I said before, The helmet shows how unaware of the truth he is. And at the end at 'Julius Archibald’s Funeral', The reason why he stays quiet, is because he has been so mentally broken to the point he can’t even speak. It explains why he began laughing at said funeral. He also attempted a murder-suicide on Jacques (Spy), showing that even though he is alive.. *Its very clear that he doesn’t want to be.* Soldier is one of the important characters in this movie, because he shows one of the key elements of ‘unawareness’. As stated before, he before was so goofy and not as serious. But now we see how much he changed from how he learned the truth. Kinda funny, no?
No he started laughing at the funeral because he's been following orders for his entire life but now he has a choice to change so he doesn't say the speech

2:00:08 Yeah it's right here 55:00, THats crazy a long time ago detail that was barely mentioned again, is used.
This is great because it rewards your audience for paying attention, for enganging with the work they're reacting to.
So Makari is scared of the uncanny valley?
Why yes
Quite a lot are afraid of the uncanny valley.
@@fenorlex1126 I mean, it excists for a reason...
next needs to reactto the tf2 animation "the scratched universe "
-Pauses the video enough to make the video longer than 2 hours.
-Still somehow talks over some of the dialog.
If you like this Horror Source stuff I'd like to recommend checking out some of the various ARGs like my personal favorite "The Interloper" series
Holy crap I am surprised that this video isn't 4 hours long
A really like what they did with soldier in the video, going from a comic-relief character to basically mentally scarred & broken by what he witnessed finally being done to him for so long.
I would love a sequel to fortress films, more so following what soldier's life will be after these events.
scout: in alot of pain on the phone
Vtuber: singing and dancing
If you search M 1931 you get a movie. 7:29
it's funny watching makari now, i watched her back in lockdown and since then we've both transitioned :0 love you and your content lots, but I've got some catching up to do video wise xD
Yeah, she's really great here, I will say. Hope you enjoy catching up because I am planning to skip this video around just so that I can play TF2 soon. Or maybe I'll animate this.
@@StoryTeller796 Ok?
the wrinkles on scout are part of the official model, you only see them ingame when he raises his brow, Sfm will make them show up automatically if you move the brows passed a certain variable
Theres red, and blue,
But in Emesis Blu,
Theres a third.
Black / gray, which is a in-between, and they work together, but are not blu neither are red, so they are a team, mainly working together in the conagher Slaughterhouse.
Ah yes, perfect to watch while eating pizza
fun fact to anyone interested: that moment the soldier zombie turns around is a reference to the first zombie you see in the original Resident Evil.
In the briefcase was the Respawn Machine Core. So whoever took it was the bastard that started this whole chaos.
8:49 that gun... is from the same game...
I felt like I was being watched last night too. I
authentic 2fort experience,i can tell.
She is aware medic is german, not hungarian, right?
I think Rocket Jumping came before stairs existed in TF2 canon.
Have ever heard of the famous samurai tatakatsu Honda? He never lost a single battle and never got a single battle injury. He was invincible in battle and was known as the samurai who surpassed death
Normally this kinda pausing and talking over randomly over good parts of the story that would add an extra 40 minutes to the video would really annoy me but to be fair this is your passion and it wouldnt be a good react video if ya didnt talk...at all. I'm just glad ya has a good time all things considered. Also, who are you and how did you end up in my recommended
Edit: Hey yeah so I wrote this at like five in the morning and I dont think what I meant came across at all and it just sounded like me bitching so lemme retry; normally talking over plot points and overanalyzing with lots of paused would bother me, but it's actually really nice to see how much you enjoy the movie and watching you nerd out over the subject you're very clearly passionate about does put a smile on my face. I'm just glad you enjoyed the film.
Scout: walking atomic waste
Medic: What was he doing in the 45's?
Heavy: Sandwich addiction
Spy: Extreme lung cancer
Engineer: Texan Midget
Sniper: Normal
Soldier: Severe lead poison
Pyro.
The thing is:
Jane’s (soldier) helmet is a symbol of some sort as well.
*Its very clear that he doesn’t want to be.*
Soldier is one of the important characters in this movie, because he shows one of the key elements of ‘unawareness’.
As stated before, he before was so goofy and not as serious. But now we see how much he changed from how he learned the truth.
Kinda funny, no?
No he started laughing at the funeral because he's been following orders for his entire life but now he has a choice to change so he doesn't say the speech
1:57:27 never in my time did i think i'd hear this on TH-cam being said so casually
You gotta watch someone explain this.
It’s GREAT!!
No shit, didn’t even see the ears till you said somethin.
WE CAN'T TELEPORT BRED ANYMORE!!!!!!! >:C
Only when I'm in the woods at night
The real emesis blue is trying to concentrate with those jiggle physics
There’s a theory that when Ludwig becomes “battle medic”, it is the spirit of the tenth class trying to take control.
In case you didn't understand, there is a glitch in the respawn machine, so there are times when the mercenaries get stuck there when they die or only parts of them come out,
Is it a glitch, I thought it was just being overworked?
There was going to be 100 classes, and now we have lost all 90, we are left with 10 classes (class 10 is cancelled by valve)
Oh wait. 9 classes
I think its funny how I learned more from a vtuber about animation than my first 2 weeks in animation class in college
College does that to you. Takes a bit of time to get into it.
It is an overall masterpiece with the depicted detail and references to spy`s disguise which was created by the same maker of emesis blue but what is pretty insane and it leaves me dumbfounded is that the trailer for emesis blue was like 6 or 5 years ago.
How it FEELS to play 2fort
"If theyre wearing power armor or helmet theyre disposable"
Master chief
Doomguy
Ect.
Are not disposable
Hello, me from the past
Also, yes, I did that just to confuse Makari.
YES thank you for listening and watching this
Most sane two fort match
I have watched emesis blue so many times I can't count
I watched it twice. The first time I saw it without skipping. The second time I skipped the parts that were boring.
Oh hey! A two hour makari video. Must be a vod of her stream... oh... it's emesis blue...
as a special reminder to the face of that pyro, that is no texture from any game, THAT is a burned human A REAL BURNED HUMAN, and for your sanity's sake DO NOT SEARCH IT, it's something really horrifying to see and you dont want your brain to treasure that i'm saying it from experience :c
Emesis Blue soldier is actually smart, but still has the funny charm of the original
Edit: forgot to mention that inside of the briefcase, it’s a “Respawn Core”.
Shotgun at long range nice smart cops
I learned that this sfm video has a few references to a few very old movies and very old horror movies.
This was really cool! Thank you so much for this reaction which introduced me to your content!
it is strange that they aren't being respawned in another location.
Also they left out the Administrator and Ms Pauline
they should have had the Administrator smirking behind the sceens
VHS was not invented yet
You've got a great analytical eye. Made this a treat to watch
i man tf2 and i 5000 hour in tf2 and emesis blue
I have a theory on why one of the conaghers has no eyes and it's quite simple
Respawn machine has a chance to malfunction and cause deformities like the dude at the beginning who's eyes were missing... You catch my drift? I think it's just a respawn defect like the scout monster
im not sure of the exact time but 1:18:00 isnt only a shining reference but also a reference to this studios last tf2 movie, being spy's disguise which is quite good too although not as much in my humble opinion
also its not 2 hours explaining the mechanic, its two hours what happens when that mechanic fucks up in this universe
and for the last thing, i really think the analysis from Richter Overtime is quite good for this one, although long it shows a lot of the references that are in and explains quite a few things from the plot. I am not sure if this would be a reaction but even in private I still recommend watching it
Um, Medic isn't hungarian. He's German. There's a difference.
Exactly
I don't get it when medic bumped his head she said"oh good medics dead"💀💀💀💀
time bit at the beginning was oddly accurate
1:23:27 fun fact the blood coming out is 100% scout he wasn't 100% done thus turn into a blood and also he still felt pain because he melted in the respawning stage making his death painful
37:37 Rocket Jumping was already canon and was invented by Abraham Lincoln in the TF2 universe.
And died trying to rocket jump over a set of stairs
there actually is a zombie mode in tf2, but it could only be played in halloween
its not official tho and theres alot of different zombie modes
My nightmare is the weman in my face help
