What a beautiful restomod. It brings the design up to date and makes it relevant. Perfect!

    Nice resto-mod, well done.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say, whilst I like what you've done, some aspects of the bodywork are not to my liking style wise. But hey! It's your car and you can do what you like and how you want. The important thing is he likes it. The wheels are stunning.
It would have been nice perhaps while you were talking about the car to have some walk-around film etc of the rest of the car. Apart from a few seconds pics of a rear 3/4 shot, interior, engine we saw very little of the rest of the MG apart from the front with the owner in the chair. Even a side view would have been nice, as the GT shape is a classic.
As to me, I have a 1967 MGB GT on wire wheels I bought in 1984, I sold it in 1988. I found it again by chance in 2024, and bought it back! It's basically stock, but with an uprated factory engine and close ratio gearbox. When I first bought it in 1984, it had many interior improvements made by its first owner in the 60s, these look 'factory' and greatly improve the cars drivability - a rare gem.
As to the colour, check out 'Sandy Beige', this was only used on the GT model of the MGB (not the roadster) up and till around 1971. It's a very classy colour. All the best.

I would had modified the original engine and transmission.
MG did do a modern retro V8 version around 1996.

Well each person has the right to an opinion but mine would be not so much. There is a lot to be said for understatement and quiet power and competence. Just too much boy racer here.

Wheel arches look a little strange to me.
