One thing it feels like every single game fails at, is air control. It's one of the biggest unrealistic things in gaming, that you can jump, and in mid air you can just stop moving forward, or that you can jump straight up, then start moving forward

The last time I permanently rage quit a game was Dofus heroic mode (permanent death mmorpg) I was lv 13 and I went to the my faction's bank(like alliance) to put all my stuff in a safe place, and a level 5? 6? bad guy (like horde) was hiding by the entrance and because of his summons, I couldn't do anything and he killed me and got all my stuff. I rage quit so hard and I was mad for at least 3 days
tribulation mode during guild wars 2's super adventure box festival is harder than this. its an april fools festival where players in the game can travel into a game and play through a multi world jumping puzzle. think of something from the n64 like ocarina of time with the environmental exploration with a metroidvania "upgrades to progress" vibes. the game has a tribulation mode which is insanely hard with unfair challenges because most things will kill you. if in normal mode a sign would point in the right direction, the sign in tribulation mode the sign would chase and kill you. in normal mode if you could walk on the floor in tribulation mode it'd be a false floor that you'd maybe fall through. it's amazing and has the tight gw2 movement controls. a guy named chickenooble has a cool video about it if you're interested in seeing it.
