Great video. I wanted to run something past you and since you are a follower of the word I feel ok sharing my theory with you. It would be nice to talk to you, so please forgive all the typing.
When I read Jonah and noticed that the titles given to The Lord change. He is referred to as "The Lord" all throughout the book until Jonah arrives at Nineveh where he calls the The Lord "God"
So when I read it in Hebrew where it says "The Lord" it shows the chracaters for Yahweh but when the title "God" shows up in Hebrew the characters say Belohim, and he only referred to Yahweh as Belohim when he spoke to Nineveh.
Even when he spoke to the seamen he called The Lord Yahweh and was willing to die while saying his name. And even though the seamen were pagan; they converted and made an oath to Yahweh.
Also it was amazing how much Nineveh believed Jonah. They believed him so much that they made the animals fast out of fear of Belohim. And these are people historically known to do horrible things to the Hebrews and their faith yet they undoubtedly believed what Jonah said without question.
Now this part is interesting the god they worshipped in Nineveh at that time was a thunder god called Bel Dagan. He was worshipped as god of the sea and a harvest god. Many depict him as a half fish half man god and he was sometimes just Called Bel.
So when Jonah was swallowed up by the huge fish in theory the seamen spread the word of what happened. And when a giant fish comes out of the ocean and spits up living Human being word spread fast of that as well (in theory). Jonah said word for word what Yahweh instructed him. And this means Yahweh told him to say the name "Belohim" to Nineveh.
In theory the king and people of Nineveh were so eager to listen to him because they believed he was a prophet of Dagan/Bel, after hearing how a fish came up from the sea and spit out a man with a message from Belohim. And Belohim means Lord of Lords and Bel means Lord; so they just assumed he was talking about the same.
This probably shocked Jonah as he did not like them because of their pagan worship and horrible ways, and Im sure he did not expect them to believe him like they did and repent so fast and with such fear.
In theory Jonah was upset at this because not only did Nineveh NOT convert to Yahweh but he was made to look like a prophet of Dagan. And he was mad that Yahweh did that to him.
He told Yahweh he knew Yah would have mercy on the Nineveh and he did not want that. On top of that when he tried to run away he ran right into a plan that was setup by Yahweh from the beginning.
After figuring out that by running away he played right into Yahwehs plans he asks Yahweh to kill him because he did so much to spare unbelievers who were enemies of the faith and never converted.
Sorry about all the typing but next best thing to talking live I guess. Tell me what you think about it or if you have some research close to something like that on the book of Jonah. When I researched it my mind was blown
