After everything Pacino has accomplished in life, it's unreal how humble he is.

And I believe it's pretty real. Working in NYC for a few years around those in or near the biz, heard lots of negative stories about De Niro. None about Pacino.
My friend was on his way to or from an audition and bumped into Pacino in 2002 when he was performing Salome on Broadway. My friend had his head shot and told Pacino how much he was a fan and asked if he could sign it. He said Pacino looked around to see, I guess to make sure there weren't a ton of people around, signed it quickly and walked off. That's awesome!

He's so right about Dustin Hoffman. Those three are the best, followed very shortly by Jack Nicholson.

When Conan mentioned the Diner scene in Heat, I immediately searched on YT and rewatched that scene. It brought me back. Man, it was intense. Can't believe it was nearly 30 years ago. I'm happy for Al Pacino! The iconic legend.

I have a line from the diner scene of Heat burnt into my brain because it was the preview and so whenever I think about that movie I just think about “You got a wife?”

I was surprised to see a T-Mobile advert at the beginning of the clip. Does this provider also exist in the USA? I thought we Germans had been failing economically everywhere lately, so I was not only surprised but also confused that something was still going on. Thanks to Conan and Sona, it was also an advert that I enjoyed watching.

I'm going to have to get his book. I love stories about the process of how some of my favorite films were made. I have to go back and watch 'Heat' just to view it knowing that their meeting was done without polishing off the edges first.

Conan's description of the DeNiro-Pacino meeting in "Heat" is reminiscent of two combatants shaking hands/ bowing/ saluting to each other before their bout.

The Conan podcast is so much better than his Tonight Show. The Tonight Show just feels like it’s a show for fake people or sheep, but he seems like a real genuine dude.
