I always feel guilty about not going to church, the people have so many intense feelings and it is really hard to go, i can hardly get up to walk out. It easier to just stay home with my critters. I thought I was weird, even family members thought that I was. Until, I went to Salem, Massachusetts. Met a very credible psychic-medium. She read me. After the session, she asked " why are you here? You are a medium. You can talk to the spirits yourself." From then on, I accepted my fate. Then my departed loved ones, some classmates, family friends, had been in my dreams in a constant basis that I look forward to who will show up in my dreams. Being an empath feels like a curse that on the outside seems like a gift. Crowds Are absolutely brutal to my psyche. I don’t know what it was but as a very small child, at night, a shadow man would sit by my bed. He was dressed in a suit and wore a brimmed hat. No words, no sounds, he would just sit there. I was scared and I’d turn over and cover my head. I’d fall asleep, wake up turn over and look and he’d still be sitting there. No clue what that was about. We moved a couple times and he’d still show up. Then when I was 7 or 8 he stopped coming.

As a kid, I used to hear my name being called, specifically one moment of being 12yrs old and responding "yeah?" and seeing nothing. At that time, I was going through a lot of struggles. It wasn't until my late 20s/early 30s, that things started to change. I would often cancel when invited to the bar to see a show, something about the atmosphere/loudness/anxiety would just drain me. I did go once though. At work, I would often comment about not seeing someone for awhile and within hours/days, they would walk in. I learned that when someone crossed my mind, it meant something (both living and non-living). In my 40s, I've payed more attention to how I feel about people. I don't mean to be judgy, but typically the people in question are usually negative or carrying bad energy (some even try to hide it). Phone calls with my mother used to change my mood; drain me, make me bitter and angry afterwards. I don't usually get depressed, but I know when it's trying to "attack" me and I have to block it (re-direct my thoughts). It's crazy what you can learn, when you're open to it.

Psychic ability ran in my family but my grandmother was extremely religious and never really used her ability. Always saying it was "just a feeling she had". She had an ability to "read" people. CLAIRAUDIENCE
Clairaudience (clear audio /hearing) -- To perceive sounds or words and extrasensory noise, from sources broadcast from spiritual or ethereal realm, in the form of "inner ear" or mental tone which are perceived without the aid of the physical ear and beyond the limitations of ordinary time and space. These tones and vibrations are more easily perceived in an alpha state and during meditation, though many clairaudients can obtain verbal and sound-related information regarding the past, present and future in a variety of environments. Most Channelers (also known as Mediums) work with both clairvoyance and clairaudience.

Clairtangency (clear touching) -- More commonly known as psychometry. To handle an object or touch an area and perceive through the palms of one's hands information about the article or its owner or history that was not previously known by the clairtangent.

Clairgustance (clear tasting) -- To taste a substance without putting anything in one's mouth. It is claimed that those who possess this ability are able to perceive the essence of a substance from the spiritual or ethereal realms through taste.
CLAIREMPATHY
Clairempathy (clear emotion) - An Empath is a person who can psychically tune in to the emotional experience of a person, place or animal. Clairempathy is a type of telepathy to sense or feel within one's self, the attitude, emotion or ailment of another person or entity. Empaths tune into the vibrations and "feel" the tones of the aura.
CHANNEL/CHANNELING
Channel -- A person who allows his/her body and mind to be used as a mechanism for etheric world intelligence to bring psychic information or healing energy to others.
Channeling -- To allow an etheric world intelligence to enter one's mind and impress thoughts upon the consciousness to be spoken aloud, using one's voice or body to deliver the information or healing energy.

Being an empath feels like a curse that on the outside seems like a gift. Crowds Are absolutely brutal to my psyche. I do get a bit of Clairaudience where if there’s an extreme energy concentration one way or the other(positive or negative) I will hear bits and pieces of their thoughts in their own voice without their mouth moving. I also hear my name being called when falling to sleep every so often. Also get the rare obe/ Astral-projection which I absolutely love but unfortunately don’t have the ability to do it at will it’s always just random.// Thank you Matt for everything you do. I know someone who has gifts in this area. As a Catholic, a priest told him to carry a St. Benedict’s medal. He also practices a healing modality to help others.
I don’t know what it was but as a very small child, at night, a shadow man would sit by my bed. He was dressed in a suit and wore a brimmed hat. No words, no sounds, he would just sit there. I was scared and I’d turn over and cover my head. I’d fall asleep, wake up turn over and look and he’d still be sitting there. No clue what that was about. We moved a couple times and he’d still show up. Then when I was 7 or 8 he stopped coming.
Same thing happened to me except he was standing In the corner of a room blacker than the dark couldnt see his face only shadow and a top hat.
What are they? Has anyone clarified for you? Are they okay or are they bad?

I have those that have passed over come and talk to me. Apologize or say other things. Sometimes I hear someone saying they are sorry and I don't know who they are.
If any of you feel all the energy in large crowds, please learn to put your armor on, called your shields on. Imagine your self inside of mirrors, the reflective side our and the dull side toward you. This will reflect all the energy that comes towards you, it will reflect all that energy back to the person.

I just watched this and absolutely everything he said is me. But I've known it since I was born. I have a pretty incredible story which is too long (I'm 63) to write down here. But it took me many year's to be able to differentiate between my emotions and those that I'm picking up from energies around me. I still have to work on it almost daily. I absolutely cannot be in crowds and don't even talk about hospitals! Thank you Matt! Even though I'm aware of my abilities it's very reassuring to hear someone as knowledgeable as you are confirm it.
I feel other people's emotions I always feel someone is in my home but no one I can see and my dog just passed away today and now I have so much emotions in me all I can do is cry I feel my body is draining in a fast pace

😊❤ Hi Matt! 😅 Yes, I definitely have mediumship abilities. It can be so tough sometimes. I'm a Gemini and I want to go do so many things! But my empathic abilities are off the charts so I can no longer handle crowds, parties etc. I have only recently remembered something that I did when I was about 8 yrs old. I started reading tarot over 30 yrs ago. But I have been expanding my spiritual gifts over the last several years and I have become more aware of spirits and even getting visual glimpses of them. I also lived half my life not even knowing what an empath was; let alone believing that I was one. It took me many years learning how to know what emotions (and thoughts) are mine and how to guard my energy! When I was 8 yrs old I remember sitting up in bed (top bunk) I was looking across the room and I said, "I don't want to see you!! You scare me!! If you're good you can talk to me in my dreams or just let me feel your by me. But I can't see you!!" So, I will just say 35-40 yrs of my life I lived without my gift. Hi Matt, i am a psychic medium and i cam tell you i know the difference between my thought and spirit thought. If i have a thought and i can push it out easy and instantly, it is my thought. When the thought persists and i can't push it out of my mind, it is spirit. They are very persistent and will not let it go until i get it. Then i open my mind to them and let them tell me what i need to know. And yes, you are right, we all receive differently. Sending you light and love and love your videos.

All of the above as you explain, I am in the medical field. I don't even know where to begin it's a lot to describe.
Ever since I was 3, I would talk to spirits. And every time I would think something, it would come true, it scared me because it was mostly bad things, like cheating, murder, etc.
From very young I picked up on my family's energy and discord but sadly thought that I was the cause of it all.
Later on my friends would heckle and joke around with each other, some of their jokes were hash but if I did it., and kindly too, never would I try to hurt anyone.... wow, the rebound to me was devastating. I became the quietest person of the group, yet all of them came to me with their problems.
I communicate so much better with family and friends who have passed over.. it is so very honest as compared to those who are still on earth.
There is a particular person now in politics who is a wretch and very deceitful so people, I guess naturally go after him wanting justice... but nooooo not me.. I can't look at his eyes because the utter sadness and desperation there breaks my heart ,and the tears flow.

As a kid, I used to hear my name being called, specifically one moment of being 12yrs old and responding "yeah?" and seeing nothing. At that time, I was going through a lot of struggles. It wasn't until my late 20s/early 30s, that things started to change. I would often cancel when invited to the bar to see a show, something about the atmosphere/loudness/anxiety would just drain me. I did go once though. At work, I would often comment about not seeing someone for awhile and within hours/days, they would walk in. I learned that when someone crossed my mind, it meant something (both living and non-living). In my 40s, I've payed more attention to how I feel about people. I don't mean to be judgy, but typically the people in question are usually negative or carrying bad energy (some even try to hide it). Phone calls with my mother used to change my mood; drain me, make me bitter and angry afterwards. I don't usually get depressed, but I know when it's trying to "attack" me and I have to block it (re-direct my thoughts). It's crazy what you can learn, when you're open to it.

Psychic ability ran in my family but my grandmother was extremely religious and never really used her ability. Always saying it was "just a feeling she had". She had an ability to "read" people. Two of my Aunts were very psychic but were scared of it. I have had it all my life mainly through dreams and to some degree "visions". But like a lot of people say...if you don't used it you lose it. I still have dreams that come true but not as often as when younger.

Im an Empath who feels peoples energies and just knows things. I can tell if someone is a good or bad person right away. I work at OHare Airport so im around massive crowds every day. Im always exhausted when i get home and fall asleep right away. I can tell peoples emotions or if something is bothering them.

I just don’t understand why a spirit would freak out a small child like that. If a soul is gonna try and seek help from a medium, you’d think they would go to the adults and leave the kids alone because they know better.
