I just got the Stumpy EVO Comp Carbon, and I built it myself with help at a local bike shop. One of the guys was very clear that we needed to take off the "dork disk" as a part of the build. I am brand new to MTB, and they didn't want me to look like a noob :) I think it is AWESOME that you work on the bike with your kids. My kids are all grown up, so I hope I can do that with the grandkids soon :)
Hey Patrick. Thanks for checking out the video! It’s a great bike and looks tons better without the dork disk! And i enjoy making the videos with the kids. It’s not always smooth sailing but they do get to learn one end of a wrench from the other. Good luck with your grandchildren wrenching on your bikes and enjoy your new ride!

We succeeded in something! Thanks for checking it out!
You'll have to be more vigilant after removing the disk but it does look better!
We’ll be sure to keep the derailleur properly adjusted. Thanks for checking out the video!

Ha, its definitely an option! There tends to be collateral damage when I start breaking things! Thanks for checking out the video.
