Props to your daughter cracking eggs with one hand like a pro. I really admire the way you raise your children, and they are involved in the household. I really wish I had TH-cam and such when I was raising my kids, I would have loved the inspiration and motivation on the days I just felt I had none. As well as different ideas and perspective on things.
I am always just 'blown away' when I see you doing something like making your chicken noodle soup and you have a sweet little one on the counter with you and he is eating out of the pan behind your soup...So very sweet to see your parenting style. I hope that is how I raised my sons. I know I allowed 30+ years of daycare and foster children into the kitchen with me....In my home, as a child if I had done that I would have been knocked up side my head LITTERLY. God bless your family
I love grilled cheese for dinner, with some tomato soup for dipping....yum!!...I also like making breakfast dinners as a special treat for the family, as well as giving myself a break from the traditional "dinner menu".....
It's just me and my Hubby he's gone a lot on the job 2 kids grown I got 2 dogs 2 cats in chickens and rabbits for pets and eggs it keeps me busy busy I can't imagine its just great! You and your Family are definitely a awesome Team! I love it Jo is cooking up a storm you are a great teacher!
Something about the pink makeup and your big blue eyes, you looked so pretty in this video! That bread makes me want to buckle down and get my sourdough starter up and going again. It looked so good!
Another great video!! That sweet potato oatmeal bake looked delicious!! What is the white cheese that you use? I love the idea of homemade bread but just can't quite grasp it yet. Love your farm and love the big family atmosphere! I come from a family of 7, 5 girls and mom and dad. So I love the big family, however, my husband and I only have 2 grown boys now. I had hard pregnancies and had a couple of losses so a big family was not in the cards for us but the Lord knows what He is doing and we have been blessed. Take care and God bless you and your family!
Hi Lisa I can watch you bake bread all day i really don’t know why , it’s just really relaxing and calming … You’re grilled cheese sandwiches look so good I can make one of them myself for dinner tonight!!!! Thanks for the great idea.. fast and easy
You are so good. I keep telling my boys we’re gonna go through their closet. It’s huge and full and your pile for 5 kids is about what half of what I have for each of my boys😂😂
Lisa I just loveee your channel and videos. You make life slow down and it’s so needed these days. I’ve learned so much from you! Thank you for being here! I just had our 4th baby and it’s so hard to get everything done but then I look at you and you motivate me. God is so good and the more simple we are the more beautiful life is. I love you so much sister God bless you and your beautiful family!❤️
Make me think back to my childhood on the farm being one of six...it felt all new when mum took out seasonal clothes.and sometimes we were very sad that the dress does not fit and needed to be passed on🤭😆
One thing that has kept my front entry sane with 3 young boys is to have a basket for each of them for things like hats, sunglasses, goggles, work gloves, mitts, toques, bike helmets... all the things. And another basket each for their footwear. That way they have a place for their own stuff and they can easily put stuff away and find it when they need it. Game changer. Also having hooks, not hangers, at their level so I'm not responsible for hanging/retrieving coats etc.
Somebody's being a little eager with the noodles there. Lol I'm glad I'm not the only mother with scribbles on the furniture. I wish I had a mud room. You make gorgeous bread. That's some delicious looking grilled cheese.
I like how you take the time to notice the changing of the seasons. I know that some folks like capsule-type wardrobes, and the way you do clothing kind of reminds me of those.
Can’t wait to get my starter going again and make that bread! Also, thanks for the inspiration to keep kids clothes minimal. It’s so much less stressful!
I always find this so interesting because as I grew up I never knew anyone who did all this winter/summer cloths exchange. I grew up in a family of six. Our coats just stayed in the closet except they were for the next youngest. The only thing we did do was the hand me down and check for what was needed. Love your videos ~ Janet 😘
I’m the baby of five and we didn’t pack out of season clothes away either. I vaguely remember putting off season foldables in our bottom dresser drawer to have on hand. I’m in Canada so we could still have cool mornings and evenings in August or even a cool rainy day in June. We didn’t have a lot of clothes either.
I do The same thing with my kids clothes when I switch The seasons. They all just go in one big bin. This week we are having an unusually HOT week in the 80’s! So, we went downstairs and found that bin. There are a few 4T items from my son that I’m going to put for sale on marketplace because, we are done having kids and my youngest is a girl.
Hey! I was wondering if you have an updated cloth diapering video? I saw the one from 2 years ago when you were making the inserts? I am wanting to start cloth diapering very soon 😊 love your videos!
This cold weather made me prolong switching to spring clothes too. Last night, I decided to switch the clothes and store the clothes she can wear in the fall and take out small clothes for giving away. It’s May and if it gets cold, my daughter can just wear a jacket because it was too many options for us both!! I’m doing my clothes today. Love the videos as always
Swapping-out seasonal clothing is a big project. Must try oatmeal/sweet potato bake. Love your wee son eating bits out of the pan as you cook in the big pot. Do your children just snack from whatever you are preparing for the next meal/leftover from the last one or do you have snacks you have ready for their bellies as they get hungry between meal times?
Is there any way to make the sandwich bread with just einkorn flour? I've been making sourdough sandwich bread with it but mine never rises that high. I really don't want to use AP flour.
Thank you for posting all this. ❤️ Your link for kefir smoothies has been broken for awhile on your website. Just as a heads up! Found one recipe that still works on your website and the kids and I love it! Will try making the kefir myself next! 🙏
People should check with their doctor before taking collagen It’s a simple blood test I’ve had some weird thing happening so we did a blood test to check some things out I’m 57 and where you would think me taking collagen peptides would be a benefit, turns out my body produces too much, so now I have to see a specialist and I can’t consume anything with collagen It’s an auto immune disorder

I love how simple you keep the children’s attire. Much less stress and way less to fold!
I hope you do a summer uniform video! I don’t usually search for style content but I always appreciate your simple and doable uniform ideas 😊

Another great video and I love the music you put with it….really makes a difference!
I store mine in vacuum seal bags in totes to avoid mildew or mold.
You need a cast iron griddle to help with preparing food for that large a family.
Packing away snow gear is so joyful to me,almost as good as the first day of school! Thanks for the treat of sharing your family.
Always love getting a few things done with you 🥰
Love your laundry baskets! I would love to find similar ones.
You have so much energy. I use to. Love watching your videos.

We started making grilled cheese in the oven. Five minutes on each side at 450. So much easier.

Hi! I watched Lisa reply to this in a video some months back, they always have leftovers etc, but no snacks as we might know it.
@@idaosbornfrandsen7162 I'm sure they have bowls of fruit and leftover muffins around. We don't keep junk food types of snacks around either.
I love your homemaking videos!
Yay! Thank you!
I love sorting clothes!
Where did you get that big basket? I would love something like that for my grandkids toys.

I’ve never lived anywhere where I can just switch out our clothing for the season. Every season has all the weather 😂😂
Where is that?
Must be Texas :]
Were those loaf pans stainlesss steel?? If they were where di you get them from I really want to replace all of my non stick coated ones.
Love your videos. Is there a reason you don’t use olive oil or at least I haven’t seen it used yet? You have such good ideas, thanks.

Organising the children's clothes is one of my worst jobs, and I only have 3. You have a much more minimal wardrobe than I do though.
