Hey, I have terrazzo in the building I work in. I usually just strip and wax. I have a small area under a walk mat, when I scrub it using a blue pad, the remaining wax comes up. I just did a top scrub using floor cleaner, no stripper. Can you tell me why just in this area the wax comes up and not the whole floor?
I did a lot of vct floors but in about a month I will do my first terrazzo floors What chemical did u use for scrubbing (i use best scrub) but can i use some stripper or is too strong?
Becky was holding the handle too high. It should have been down by her hips. It's all about "balance". Once you find that "sweet spot", it's just small movements of 'up and down. Another Good video. I just put out a new one myself two days ago. Check it out...
And also when you did also that contract you did that floor what do you charge a square foot I mean what's the price on something like that or what you try to square foot doesn't matter we don't want to know what you got paid but what do you charge something like that that was just a straight cleaning and I think refinished cuz I don't think you had a strip nothing
He kind of says. Terrazzo is best ground and polished to a high shine without any finish/wax on it, then sealed with a penetrating/impregnating sealer. It's a lot more work than just scrubbing and applying a shiny finish, but the results are better, and much longer lasting. Polished and sealed terrazzo requires very little maintenance besides normal cleaning.
On a personal note. Shave your beard. You wont ever be able to grow a full one and a clean face will make you appear more professional. Its looks really ratty. Just a tip.
You didnt teach anything. It was a before and after with goofing off in the middle. You could have explained stripping or recoat prep and applying wax etc. This was anti helpful and wasted my research time. Maybe just do fun videos and leave instrucional videos to the pros.

we just used a strong cleaning no stripper as we didn't want to remove all the finish.
Did you use the same finish as you would on VCT?

This was just floor stripper and a neutral cleaner.
Next try a melamine floor pad.
Were you using a black pad or a green twister on this floor ?

What Jasexavier said is correct. We did not do that because this is a association and they had a budget we had to follow for all the cleaning.
