Fighting fire with fire is a legit way of fighting a big out of control fire. Set fire to the path it`s going, in a controlled way, to stop the rampant spread.
There can't be a fire, if everything is already on fire.
If everything is already on fire then there is no fighting anything, but i doubt that was the point.
If you fight fire with fire it means that you make sure that there's nothing to burn in the way for the uncontrolled fire to spread too, so it can't keep setting more things on fire.
Can't you just (if we're talking about a wildfire) chop the trees around the fire to stop it from spreading?
Well, i assume there's some chopping and preparing in the area that controlled fires are made, but u gotta look at the time spent doing it and what kind of area the foliage is, since it isn't not only trees that burn and wildfires generally move a lot faster with just dried out straws and things like that.

If you're referring to the large religions (I.E. Christianity and Muslim) turning a blind eye to how they're not supposed to do xyz but do so anyways, then I get it. If you're referring to how Buddhists and Pagans encourage peace and harmony as much as can be given, then I'm afraid I don't.

Lots of people turn to religion for lots of different reasons - yes, because of calamity, but also for solace, for reassurance, for answers to spiritual questions, etc. Lots of people aren't even religious, but have spiritual practices or beliefs instead. They aren't mutually exclusive and they may come about for different reasons.

I think the scenario might have worked in the opposite way of that the author wanted it to be. He might've created a normal tree but the coding showed all of them instead , theres some still locked though

Rewrite kinda did this. You have Gaia, a faction that wants to help mother nature "reset" humanity and the Guardians who believe in compromise. Kinda like reasonable greens&concerned folks vs crazy extremists. Plus there's a third faction the Druids who stand neutral and don't really understand what the hell is going on. Rewrite has seven endings including what you might expect - non nuclear setback of civilisation or peaceful coexistence or other wacky stuff tied to the protagonist. It's one of the few visual novels which has routes not named after a heroine. I won't spoil any more:)

No need to go back that far... with a bit of bad luck, a couple years ago when their nuclear plant at Fukushima had very severe issues, a calamity wasn't too far off. And even without, radioactive emission was there already.
+Heroesflorian That wasn't a nuclear explosion, to create an actual nuclear explosion requires the Uranium be in the form of Highly Enriched Uranium which is >90% U-235, the Uranium used by power plants on the other hand is only enriched to around 3%.

I guess I just meant to point out a non-explosive nuclear incident can have quite severe consequences as well, looking back at the nuclear power plant accident of Tschernobyl, for example...
+Heroesflorian Oh indeed that's quite true and I think to be honest the plague inc developers may well have wrongly said nuclear explosion when they actually in fact meant something like a nuclear core meltdown. Japan doesn't have any nuclear weapons after all nor does it host any for any other country on it's soil either that I'm aware of so there shouldn't be any HEU there period.

Actually, Gaea wasn't a Titan, she was the actual earth and mother of the Titans, as well as all of the first creatures of earth (aside from her self and Uranus)
Correct. She had babies with Uranus. The titans as well as their three cyclops babies. Uranus thought they looked like sh*t so he threw them into Tartarus. Gaia got mad, Titans threw Uranus into Tartarus. Titans had kids, and the kids through the titans into Tartarus and then Zeus married his sister I believe, Hera. They might be first cousins?

Idk if anyone's answer this or not but, its because the religious tend to pick and choose the shit they want to believe out of their holy texts. They will be "selectively blind" in choosing the good parts to believe are true, but dismiss the bad parts... or simply will never even acknowledge all the heinous things that happen in their holy texts while giving great credit to their deity for all the good things. Ergo: Selective blindness. And this symptom was mutated literally as he created the religion, whether it was completely random or programmed to have that effect in this scenario... tis a good joke nonetheless.
