  • In today's video I wanted to go over how I take care of my Tillandsia Air plants. They are really easy to care for and fun to grow because they don't require any soil medium and have very little roots. You may need to water them a little more depending on how dry or humid your climate is and what time of year it is. Air plants flower once in their whole life and push off babies, after the flower dies. These babies can be separated or left on the mother plant to cause a clumping effect. I'm also going to share how I can tell it's time to water my Air plants and I'm going to show you how I soak them in a bowl of water.

      I'm glad I could help! Let me know if you need anything or have any trouble. I'd love to help you in anyway I can. There is so much beauty in the plants we have around us and we get the opportunity to grow so many different varieties, right at the tips of our very fingers.

The varieties and choices are great and sometimes you can hit a really good sale going on, if you can wait for it, which I never can lol🤗 Have fun plant shopping. It's always exciting to buy new plants and these are really geeat ones to have!

    The big one at 5 mins, how long do you soak it for

    • @StaceyHerewegrowagain
      @StaceyHerewegrowagain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      About a half hr...to an hr.... once every week, but I make sure I mist/spray with water in between the soakings, to ensure it's getting enough water. The amount of misting, will all depend on the type of climate your getting. If it's dry, they might need more.

    I am a bit confused here because i also saw videos that suggest soaking each week for 25 to 30 minutes... here tou say 2 hours... does the time of soaking relates to the size?
