@@IWrocker It's a really old event so there's not so much about it here on French medias but it's really a cool an unusual one...a French youtube channel called "laboiserie" participated this year...but there's not much events like this a few rallyes a few hillclimb a few track races To be honest in Europe the strongest are the swedish as every year they organise a Drag competition around Stockholm on public roads...it's really crazy! This is absolutely amazing happening! Never seen it live, but always on TV, when possible. Talking about Motocross, there is a great video about the US Professional Drivers and how they thought, they are the best in the World especially compared to the "European" Motocross drivers, with a little bit different bikes. So, they wanted to settle this matter once and for all, so the US Drivers challenged the "Europeans" to come to the US and race against the "Amis" . Well, the rest is history........it is a bit long but totally worth watching!!!!
I watched some of these events and races in these different series that you're talking about and our riders were so badly beaten by European riders that they forced them out of the races events or series on technical or regulation reasons that were BS because we knew if European riders kept getting into these events that all of our guys will lose😂😢😅😮❤🎉

Seen the weston event in England, its carnage ! Usually in October I think and the weather is usually horrible. The ones at the front get a fairly clear run, but the for the pack it's truly an endurance event , many end up pushing their bikes over the jumps.
Beach racing varies from a local scramble event on a beach say 7 off races of 20 mins., to the large 3 hour endurance events. Competitors are professionals and 'experts' through to week end riders. Bikes range from MX through trail bikes even modified road bikes, and there are races for quads and sidecars. Most European countries with a coastline have a international beach race.

The record for Le Touquet is 118mph by Cyril Dupres on a 950 KTM, there's a guy rhat's run 139mph on a beach race in New Zealand (Yamaha R1). I rode Le Touquet in the 2 stroke days and we could pull 100mph using a sand motor, the modern 4 strokes would get this easy enough.
since 1975, same guy than Paris-Dakar launched it 5 races over 3 days 1 for quads 1 for 11-14 years 1 for 15-17 years 1 for vintage bikes (before 1996) and the main event, the Enduropale

i watched this and the speed of the fastest guys was around 160kph, i'm not sure what the rules are but the top guys that race the finke desert race in Australia would have to be a sure bet, they race on desert sand with dunes and whoops 229km there one day and 229km back the next day top guys like toby price hit top speeds of 180-190kph.
I had my Yamaha raptor quad bike on the big sandy west coast of Jutland Denmark, that was good old fun and doughnut / drift heaven. Airforce use to train landing C130 airplanes over there. Dirt bike tracks here are often very sandy, when you have deep tracks driven into it, make it such a pain to drive in, try drive your cycle or moped on a handrail, its sort of the same. I went there in 2022, I was sitting just over the U turn at the end of the beach, with a group of friends of mine. It was a great week-end
