Thank you for the cool reaction! About her audition, you're right. When they completed the auditions in Thailand, she was the only one selected out of 4,000 candidates. The maker of the documentary goes by the name "tinxlisa" on her channel. She made and uploaded a second one last year that I really wanted to see, but it disappeared almost immediately. (I don't know why it was deleted. I hope she can upload it or a version of it again in the future.) So much has happened since this one came out (more than 2 years ago), there really needs to be a part 2 to document all of the other fantastic moments and events (including her solo project, her dance videos, her further mentoring activities, her work and events with Bvlgari, Celine, etc., her interviews (Woody, Zach Sang and others) her special moments with fans and on and on).

TAKE NOTE: The American record labels and Korean record labels are completely different. In America a label will scout you and pick you up as an artist. In Korea, you audition at a company in hope of being a trainee. If you pass and become a trainee, you train for years in sing/rapping and dancing and other things to debut. In training days they had a vocal, dancing, rapping, krumping, english and japanese lesson. There were also weekly videos where they had to film of them singing, popping, dancing, rapping and choosing their clothes and styles, they usually train and practice 12PM to 12AM. Every month trainees are required to prepare and show a solo song, a group song, a solo dance, a group dance and so on. These evaluations take place in front of all the judges and even the CEO. This monthly evaluation needs to be held in order for the company to see their trainee's improvement. It might sound like just something normal, though this is a very important moment. If you don't show enough potential or improvement, the CEO can simply decide to kick you out. You then have to leave the company, also meaning you won't have another chance to fullfil your dream as an idol. This is why trainees practice so much. The company will then decide whether or not they’ll debut you in a group or as a solo artist or you will not debut at all. You debut with people you’ve been training with. Blackpink started training together since they were 14-15 years old, Jennie and Lisa are the pioners who was trained for almost 6 years, this means more than 70 monthly evaluations they had to go through, Luckily it all paid off. Blackpink when signing contract in their company it states that they are fobidden in 6 things: drinking, smoking, clubbing, driving, plastic surgery and dating. Back when they are trainees they are not allowed to interact or talk to the male trainees.
A slight addendum to your notes: the no drinking, dating, driving, smoking , plastic surgery/ tattoos… only applies to being a trainee. They are currently free to do all of those things.

A lot of people severely underestimate how near impossible it is for a foreign female to achieve what she has esp coming from a developing country that has always been looked down upon mainly from East Asian countries like Korea. But seeing her on stage during that concert you would never guess she just came from a 16 hour flight. Her energy was overflowing. She never ever gave less. And that is not the only time that she had back to back flights between countries to attend a show or interview or conference. During her trip to Paris, she had a 12hrs flight, cameras shoved to her face, barely got space to breathe yet she was smiling, taking fans gifts, signing albums and interacting with everyone and taking pictures with them. The maker of the documentary goes by the name "tinxlisa" on her channel. She made and uploaded a second one last year that I really wanted to see, but it disappeared almost immediately. (I don't know why it was deleted. I hope she can upload it or a version of it again in the future.) So much has happened since this one came out (more than 2 years ago), there really needs to be a part 2 to document all of the other fantastic moments and events (including her solo project, her dance videos, her further mentoring activities, her work and events with Bvlgari, Celine, etc., her interviews (Woody, Zach Sang and others) her special moments with fans and on and on).

In Korea, you audition at a company in hope of being a trainee. If you pass and become a trainee, you train for years in sing/rapping and dancing and other things to debut. In training days they had a vocal, dancing, rapping, krumping, english and japanese lesson. There were also weekly videos where they had to film of them singing, popping, dancing, rapping and choosing their clothes and styles, they usually train and practice 12PM to 12AM. Every month trainees are required to prepare and show a solo song, a group song, a solo dance, a group dance and so on. These evaluations take place in front of all the judges and even the CEO. This monthly evaluation needs to be held in order for the company to see their trainee's improvement. It might sound like just something normal, though this is a very important moment. If you don't show enough potential or improvement, the CEO can simply decide to kick you out. You then have to leave the company, also meaning you won't have another chance to fullfil your dream as an idol. This is why trainees practice so much. The company will then decide whether or not they’ll debut you in a group or as a solo artist or you will not debut at all. You debut with people you’ve been training with. Blackpink started training together since they were 14-15 years old, Jennie and Lisa are the pioners who was trained for almost 6 years, this means more than 70 monthly evaluations they had to go through, Luckily it all paid off. Blackpink when signing contract in their company it states that they are fobidden in 6 things: drinking, smoking, clubbing, driving, plastic surgery and dating. Back when they are trainees they are not allowed to interact or talk to the male trainees.
A slight addendum to your notes: the no drinking, dating, driving, smoking , plastic surgery/ tattoos… only applies to being a trainee. They are currently free to do all of those things.

A lot of people severely underestimate how near impossible it is for a foreign female to achieve what she has esp coming from a developing country that has always been looked down upon mainly from East Asian countries like Korea.

The reason why Lisa now has bigger fandom, is that Lisa is one the kind of idol that attracts international fans with her kinda western vibe/swag that mostly kpop idol don't have, tho' there are some. And it's okay to love her, to have bias on her or have bias on other member, but please don't spread hate to her or to other members or idols. She is my bias, not just because of her being swag and talented, but because of her huge and genuine heart. WHY PEOPLE LOVES LISA MORE and MORE, a thread:
1. HER PROFESSIONALISM
She went to Milan for Prada's fashion show. Took a 12 hour flight back to SK, and from SK, took another 4 hour flight to Japan for their last Japan Dome concert that started just a few hours after she landed. But seeing her on stage during that concert you would never guess she just came from a 16 hour flight. Her energy was overflowing. She never ever gave less. And that is not the only time that she had back to back flights between countries to attend a show or interview or conference. During her trip to Paris, she had a 12hrs flight, cameras shoved to her face, barely got space to breathe yet she was smiling, taking fans gifts, signing albums and interacting with everyone and taking pictures with them. Not even a slight look of being annoyed but just a pure soul being thankful and humble as ever.
2. HER PASSION AND DETERMINATION
We may not see it all but even the dance practices of the group and her solo performances she gives 100% effort. Other members said they would train from 12pm-12am, but lisa would stay up until 3-4am to train. She keep herself grounded--with the amount of fame she is getting right now from all over the world, she remains humble. She doesn't think of herself as a big celeb. You would see her eat street foods, or stop by a small store at the sidewalk to eat ice cream, hang out with her childhood friends. She still does what normal people do. The first thing she post on her IG after attending fashion show is guess what? Her cats. It's her birthday, and what did she post on her IG story? Her cats. At the Elle Magazine interview, she said she feels happy rather than realizing popularity. As someone who has big dreams for her life, someone like Lisa is someone I am thankful to have in my life. She's proven herself in more ways than one, and continues to shine bright like the sunshine.
3. SHE'S GRATEFUL and APPRECIATIVE
If you didn't know, Lisa has the richest fans. Like really really rich. One fan spent hundred thousand of dollars for a birthday led ad on 9 Buildings in 9 cities in 9 days. During her solo debut, a fan spent thousand of dollars again for a led ad in China and UK. She get the most expensive things during a fanmeet. But you know what, regardless of the price, Lisa would still jump for joy getting gifts from fans. There's no gift too grand or too simple for her. Unfortunately, on October 2021 YG Entertainment post a letter saying that Blackpink will not anymore accept gifts from fans only written letters, BP want their fans to use their money for good cause and to people who needs help, like a donation or charity). The first part of LISABar's Birthday Project to celbrates Lisa's birthday was revealed, and it is a primary school named after the her. The Birthday Project is a primary school named Lixia Hope Primary School (立夏“lixia”) for children.
4. HER GENUINE HEART
What about her heart? It’s huge and made of gold. BLACKPINK donated 40 million won or 34,000 USD to the victims of fire in South Korea. In December 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20 milliom won or 17,000 USD by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income household and another 20 million to low income single-parent household in South Korea. Lisa donated 200,000 baht or 8,000 USD to the victims of flood in Thailand she donated it quitely without any intention of media attention. She was scammed by her former manager for about 1billion won or 820,000 USD, she keep it and settle it privately. She created a TH-cam channel as a way to give back to her fans. She also helped, supported and contributed to the education of Thai students and worked out support from the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange to set up a learning centre. Earlier this year 2022, Blackpink along with other YG Artists and Actors donated 500M KRW or 400K USD in total to help with the recovery of wildfire damage in South Korea. Lisa also supported a charitable restaurant organisation whose meal profit 100% go to charities. Our Lisa does things for a good cause. When the group appeared on the Radio Show: Volume Up in 2018, Jisoo revealed that Lisa always pays for their meal.
5. HER THOUGHTFULNESS:
Lisa has appeared in China's talent show as a dance mentor for two consecutive years and you can see her thoughtfulness when she gave out a neck pillows to the trainees in YWY 2 so that their neck won't hurt if they sleep, because they are tired. Lisa sent food and snacks for the trainees in her mentoring in Youth With You 3 when she knew that trainees forgot to eat because of practice. She also offered to sponsor the outfits of her team with Celine clothes when they dance to WayV's Kick Back. When a trainee from her team ask her for a signed album, she positively responded and promise her team that if they will practice well she'll give them a signed album with nit just her signiture but with all the Blackpink members' signiture. A trainee from YWY 3 said that Lisa gave out a red envelope of 888 yuan or 150 USD to trainees as a New Year's gift to them, 8 (fortune) in chinese, it's a lucky number for them. She always took in mind every 118 trainees, and always ask about how they feel, if they already ate, if they are feeling well, and always buy and prepare them a meal and gifts. When she is on her way to Paris for Celine's Paris Fashion Week, Celine sent a private jet for their Global Brand Ambassador Lisa in South Korea, and Lisa invited her two guests to tag along which is South Korean Actor Park Bogum and BTS' V. Another wonderful news came out that Lisa has bought herself a private jet, her plabe model is the Global 6500 which costs about $56M 2022 Edition.
6. HER INFLUENCE:
Blackpink as a whole aren’t just an inspiration to BLINKS, they also role models for tons of other idols out there. And also their influnce. Recently, YG released a limited Lisa photobook which was designed and curated by Lisa herself. The 'B Zero1' BLACKPINK's Lisa Bulgari ring which is around more than 3000$ has sold more than 2,000,000 (2M) bands around the world. She is the only thai, southeast asian, and k-pop Idol who were among the TOP 20 World's Most Admired Women and the only band member to be included. Spotify, Facebook, Meta, TH-cam, Twitter and Instagram also revealed that Lisa is their fave and only follows Lisa among all K-pop Idols.
7. HER POSITIVITY:
Her positive dopisition in life is one of the many things I admired about her. She can fit multiple stereotype for each people’s preference cute, funny, cool, beautiful, sexy, badass. Lisa is wise, realistic and inspiring. She has strong values that are important to her. Self-controlled and diligent, Lisa always seek positively in all areas of her life. One look at Lisa, and consider my day made. Lisa is always helping her fellow BLACKPINK members when they need it. Whether they're sad and need cheering up or they're trying to get down from a high up platform. She's always there whenever she is needed and that's something refreshing to see since I've gotten into K-Pop. Idols seem to show so much more affection to the fans and fellow idols than people in western society do. Lisa can also be Sugar-Sweet or Savage AF.
8. HER EFFORLESS CHARM:
Lisa has versatility and an innate sense of style. Lisa can also rock a wide range of hairstyles. From neon highlights to red hair with bangs, she wears her style confidently while delivering powerful performances on stage. Best known for her iconic bleached-blonde hair, doll-like face, large eyes and naturally full lips, the delicate K-pop star was ranked in 41st in 2016, ranked 15th in 2017, ranked 9th in 2018, ranked 3rd in 2019, ranked 2nd in 2020 and ranked 1st as Most Beautiful Face of 2021, ranked by the professional film critic TC Candler on the Independent Critics List, out of 100 international women.
9. MULTILINGUAL QUEEN
The name "Language Genius" was given to Lisa as she speaks different languages. Lisa is a master at langauages. She speaks Thai, English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and was currently studying french with Jennie. It goes without saying that Lisa is fluent in Thai as she grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. Lisa learned English while growing up in Thailand because she went to an international school, she is also great at the language. She talks to her stepfather with this and uses it often in BLACKPINK’s overseas activities. Lisa is also fluent in Korean as she trained in South Korea since 2011, various variety show cast members often commended her fluency, jokingly saying that she is "better than rose". Lisa is also good at Japanese. While she is by no means fluent, her lines in BLACKPINK’s Japanese versions of their songs show her precise pronunciation. She is also conversational enough to get by comfortably in the country. She speaks basic chinese as well. She is secretly learning French witj Jennie. Best of all, Lisa shows her multi-lingual talent when she rarely stumbles over words. She always seems to know what to say, when to say it, and in what language. Even her fellow BLACKPINK members agree that she knows the most languages!
10. HUMBLE AND KIND DESPITE BEING BORN WITH A GOLDEN SPOON:
With her humble, bubbly and cheerful personality you can't tell that Lisa was born with a golden spoon. She grown up quite comfortably and was educated at Praphamontree II International School and the tuition fees there amounted to about 20K USD per year. Lisa is an only child of award-winning, honorary president of Thai Chefs Assocation and honorary member of Culinary Union of United Arab Emirates, her dad is Marco Bruschweiler a famous renowned Swiss Master Chef in Thailand and Switzerland. Her family was rumoured to own a hospital. Her father owns a culinary school. Thai people said that "Lisa's grandfather gave scholarships to children in their village since 1994. After he passed away, Lisa's family continues doing the same since then". Lisa grown up while seeing all of this. No wonder Lisa is a kind and humble person. Her family is full of love. Many blink knew that Lisa is a secret philanthropist, giving and helping others without audience is the most genuine of all. This is also the reason why she is so blessed. But growing up rich doesn't mean you are rich yourself, Our girl took part in an audition organised by YG Entertainment in Thailand in 2010, where she outshone the competition and the only one who got accepted among 4000 auditionees. She is now rich herself and Lisa might be earning slightly more than the rest of Blackpink.
11. SHE IS AN INSPIRATION
She may be one-quarter of the wildly popular South Korean girl group Blackpink, but Thai singer, rapper and dancer Lisa just seems like someone you’d want to hang out with. 12. HER INSPIRING STORY:
Every Lisa fan knows her story. How she left the comforts of her home back in Thailand at a very young age to seek her dreams from a place that's completely strange to her. There wasn't even an assurance that everything would work out. Imagine how hard it must be for a fourteen years old to go to a place where you don't speak and understand the language, and culture that is very different from yours and the company wouldnt allow anyone around her speak in english because her korean needs to improve quickly. She received a lot of hate for not being a pure korean idol. Before she was the “Mona Lisa kinda Lisa” and one-fourth of BLACKPINK we know and love today, Lisa had to work relentlessly hard as a trainee to allow her to debut as an idol. Her former fellow trainee in the company and even jennie her band member revealed that she is the only trainee with straight A's in rapping, dancing and singing during her trainee evaluation and she is the first non korean artist of YG ENTERTAINMENT. Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé once said during their Ddu-du-Ddu-du count down live "LISA is the most skilled in our team".
