What's so funny is, wasn't it the OW fanboys saying MR would die out and do nothing. Yet fast forward to now, they're complaining no one wants to play OW anymore. Look, I used to be a big OW fanboy by defending blizzard all the time. I can admit that. But after playing Rivals, and seeing what we the players could've been getting from the hero shooter genre, honestly. Blizzard did it to themselves and so did is the players by us allowing blizzard to do what they wanted. The biggest was the cancelation of pve. That was the moment for the players to say no more. Yet we didn't. And that's when blizzard knew they could do whatever they wanted and we wouldn't go anywhere. MR comes out and shows what we could've had. They proved how bad Blizzard fumbled the ball. Now Marvel is making actual comics based on the Rivals lore, tie-ins with the movies (new cap movie gets you free skin) and now there's a leak saying that NetEase is making a PVE mode. They're giving players what they want. TLDR - NetEase is showing how a hero shooter should be and Blizzard fumbled the ball and the OW community allowed it
Play what you want. As someone who played OW since launch Rivals is a breath of fresh air and I haven't touched OW since. Doesn't mean I wont go back once in a while but we needed a change. People crying over what a streamer chooses to play is wild. Cry more.

Do creators bend to the will of the audience or create as they want? Where the fuck do we get off even asking, as the viewer? Only played one 'min 1' match. It had open queue problems, seems like the dream, can peak higher than role, averages lower because it can go really low. Role lock gives a more consistent experience. All the role queue 6v6s were fun, felt like the back and forth was better, less steamroll-y. More edge of your seat clutch moments. Keep checking arcade like its my empty fridge, and I main Mystery Heroes... Devs aren't keeping up with content for new heroes. DigDug skins? Like core playerbase is set on all the OW1 heroes skins, not gonna make money on those skins.
Min 1 was baaaad. The amount of people I saw forced into tank who cealr had no idea how to play tank or didn't want to play tank for example made it a miserable experience for all involved.

I honestly think (and hope) they should continue with their story and get themself and their plot figured out so they can have a clearer vision of what this game style could be. What if they did another red vs blue,, an actual villain vs hero type of thing? I think that’d be cool to only pick out heroes and not be able to counter pick using villainous characters. (Hope this makes sense)
If they want to go BIG. Make a tv series right now. The lore of Overwatch is so interesting and could be expanded on so easily

Flats finally admits that 6v6 is better. Always has been. So annoying that it’s taken this long for OW and its content creators to realize this.
