It´s honestly pretty technical, like everything he does. A vocalist of his level would never risk an injury. Pretty sure he uses the tisues in his nose to create this sound (Pretty similar to fry screaming), even though he uses more false chord in his screaming than i thought. Might be a weird combination of sounds.
Aenima I mean, I hope I’m wrong, there’s a lot of cool stuff here, but it has a “pieced together” feeling... And yeah, I kinda do expect to hear that stuff, because you usually can on their other live videos... whereas this has like a very Grunge/Nu Metal type of vibe all the way through IMO. They’re 0/2 for me so far with the new songs. I’m ok with Vultures but I don’t love it. At least the mix is good. Again, I hope I’m wrong and everything comes together well in the end.
hey man I agree 100%, not the biggest fan of vultures but I do like the sound of this song a little more, it seems like they're exploring a heavier sound again but going at it in a more 'groovier' approach which is cool, Mesmer was 10/10 for me and I hope they retain some of the more progressive and chilled out qualities in this new album
