I honestly didn't feel anything when I saw the protagonist being a woman because I immediately thought of Lady Masako (my favorite character), Yuna, and Tomoe and how they were excellent characters in their own right and had a place in the story. So I have faith that Sucker Punch will pull through and made another great game. The only thing that's concerning me is whether or not their compromise by people with bad intentions and don't actually care about making a good game. Far too many times we see great deals or companies be infiltrated by posers pretending to be game enthusies when actuality they were activists wanting to show their policies and everyone else's faces and using gaming as a platform for it. Is there any wonder why gamers no longer trust them?

Bro im with uou on this shit when in its agenda base i hste because we all loved the tomb raider games and that was a female. But they are doing it for the LGBT smh
My thing about gender swappong is if changing the characters's gender has no impact on the story, why change it in the first place? Plus a lot of companies don't know how to write engaging and likable characters.. My only hope is that sucker punch pull through and make this characters
