Vegetarian diet doesn’t mean that you don’t consume bacteria or praani janya or sasi janya.. it means not consuming the meat of animals which have a central nervous system - which can feel the pain when killed or slaughtered. Even sathvic food has bacteria and it can’t be compared to eating chicken mutton or beef because bacteria doesn’t get killed when you eat them. Guruprasad avare, I’ll be very happy if you give more clarity on this 😊

Namaskara Gurugale, I do not entirely agree with you on most parts.
1. Science is the accounting of facts that are happening around us. Science has not proved that the soul or Atma does not exist. Probably you will have to wait for a few more decades.
2. According to me, Again, you don't have to agree with me. Science is still exploring.
Everything is energy including soul. Energy cannot be created not destroyed. This is science. So once the being is dead the energy is transformed into another being. That is all about atma and the source of all energy is one(paramatma). You don't need to believe this-just food for thought.
3. Western countries are now agreeing to integrated science. Everything cannot be managed by science.
5. Coming to bacteria and eating meat. There is a lot more detail in there. I don't want to write lengthy explanations. In short, there is a difference between having bacteria via milk or substance and animal meat. Do you know why many people have started going vegan.?
Something to ponder.
