The connection between the Creaking and the Warden is interesting. Both seem to be like, creations made by a material to protect itself. I wish you could tame the creaking. That alone would give another benefit. When you place down the heart, it is at least okay with you, but not hostile mobs...or heck...it just walks around. It would also add the ability to use ignited hearts as decoration for survival. Also maybe Mojang can also add a really cool item of sorts that the creaking drops when killed (Maybe the items would be shattered and you would need multiple of the items to craft it! (Like music disk 5) ) Also, happy birthday Wattles dad!
You just gotta wonder what the point of the Creaking is. As much as I love the idea of it, it doesn't drop anything, it doesn't do anything, and so far it is so weak it's kind of just a joke mob. It's not nearly fast enough to catch you, and even if it does, it is too weak to meaningfully scare or hurt you.
That’s its main issue; while the warden doesn’t drop anything beyond a scull catalyst, he does have a reason to exist - including all of his buffs. He’s a punishment that prevents you from getting loot, high risk high reward. The pale garden has new trees wood and moss blocks, yes, but you could just grab those in the day. They need to introduce another reward that you can only obtain at night, or something which requires the creaking to be present.
@AuriPlayzz - The creaking itself is loot. Use it to make a minigame, to create angry tree dryads wherever you want them (like for spooky Halloween builds), prank your friends, take it to the ancient city to find out how it interacts with the warden. Maybe it's loot you're not interested in, like how I feel about armor trim, but it is still loot.
Hear me out: add orange fireflies so they look like the creakings eyes And yeah i saw a comment suggesting this under the actual Minecraft live video so not my idea Alsoo happy bday
I saw this on a Reddit comment, but someone had the idea that when you start to break the heart, firstly it takes ages. Like stone pic on obsidian. But as you mine it the creaking slowly creaks and walks towards you while you break the heart
Happy Birthday Mr. Wattles Sr.! Living through this world for 60 years is quite the accomplishment, and you should be proud! Not to mention you fostered a beautiful individual into this world that is Wattles. So thank you, Wattle's Sr.! I will be celebrating you today 💜
WAIT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LITTLE PEEK INTO THE TRAPDOOR DESIGN?? THAT LOOKS SO COOL OMG 8:11 (Im seriously only excited for this update simply for the door and trapdoor)
A feature that would be really cool with the creaking is the closer it gets to the creaking heart the more damage it can do because its connection is stronger the closer it is and it wants to protect its life force. I think it'd add a bit more to the mob and add a decision of run or take the chance of taking it out.
could you use a creaking heart to distract the warden in an ancient city if you accidentally summon him? Maybe the Warden would aggro on the Creaking while you sneak away and you sort of hard lock the Warden in that spot. It cant kill the Creaking and as long as you stay facing the Creaking you can back away.
Ph1LzA tested that out and it actually does work. If you're being too loud or get too close you can still draw aggro from the warden, but as long as you stay crouched it should only focus on the creakings. Nice pfp btw.
I think instead of it just disappearing it should turn into a statue that you can collect or chop down for wood. I love the idea of it spreading the dead moss everywhere in the day My personal opinion is the creaking should have variations taller, shorter, and different shapes
Can you pick up the creaking using silk touch and does it turn into a cool new block when you destroy it's heart? It could also be funny if when you place a active creaking heart, it turns back into a creaking!
I hadn't thought of how more may be added to the biome later. But dude! That would then make sense calling it the pale "garden". I was thinking it was crazy to call it a garden when it's essentially just a pale forest. 🤣 But if some abandoned home/village was connected to these creakings? Another story. :3 Also happy birthday! 🥳
Happy birthday to your dad bro Love seeing your video coming that fast!!! KEEP IT UP bro and also its scary to be in dark at 3:00 am in minecraft when there is five night cracken mob in the game which has been added 😂
One of the things I hate-love in horror games is needing to turn around constantly and knowing that SOMETHING will be eventually there, bonus if it is hard to spot but when you finally notice it you feel a chill on the spine. The creaking does blend in the forest but it looks kinda easy to notice it with those big ahh eyes, i hope they add something to imitate its eyes (like i saw a comment on the trailer, that there could be fruits that has a similar shape?) so you can truly feel lost sometimes, not knowing where to look or what's real or not. And when you spot the real one it's already late
Happy birthdat Wattles dad 🎉 And for all of you asking for loot in this biome, I have an idea, if you break a creaking heart without Silk touch, it could give you something like amber, which can be useful to make another creaking heart or even potions, and this being a resource needed, I think that pale sapplings could have a small chance of putting a creaking heart in the tree, in this way it can be renovable
This is my idea to improve the Pale Garden. I hope you like it: - Make the trees taller in the shape of a pine tree or something unique. - Gray particles for the environment. - That the new moss can spread throughout all the walls, ceilings and the floor. - New vegetation such as dead grass, existing dead flowers. - Whether the spider webs have different designs depends on where you put it. - When you are breaking the Creaking's heart make a sound and make a vibration animation oh of a call that will make the Creaking move no matter you look at it to protect its heart. Since the heart controls them and the Heart does not want to be destroyed. - A variation of the Pale Tree But without leaves. - That the pulp can be removed from the heart of the Creaking and thus be able to control it and make it our guard. - That the Creaking can palpate, top eye first, middle eye second, bottom eye last closing and so on so that the eyes speak. - That the Creaking drops us a special thread that is used to put it on the Crafting table with the heart of the Creaking and thus control it.
people are asking Why?? i say Why not?? let's have some more Horror type stuff in the game, we players have long since stopped fearing what goes bump in the night with our Enchanted Netherite Gear, this is a mob that you cant outgear, only outwit, outrun and out-LIVE. i want to do all kinds of things with The Creaking to celebrate Halloween next year.
Ok, here's an idea for a way to make the creaking useful, just make it so that it will agro on pretty much everything, maybe with the exception of bosses. I feel like this would make a very useful for mob farms. Actually, maybe in its theme of kindof an earth elemental it only doesnt agro on flying mobs, meaning bosses are excluded by default and it gives the opportunity for an excellent combo with the allay to be able to set up automatic mod killing and loot gathering stations. You could set up creaking hearts to defend your base during the night, leaving everything free and clear during the day.
I think there should be a small dungeon called "The Creaking Crypt" which is only easily findable/accessible at night, so you have to explore a Pale Garden at night and deal with Creaking to find it.
Can I graft the Heart onto a different tree to get a variant? Cherry Creaking? Giant Jungle Creaking? Thorny Acacia Creaking? One with a beehive? They could use different status efffects similar to poison/enchantments? I can see a lot of potential, but I'm just getting carried away. How about, instead: Happy birthday papa wattles!
I think it should do more damage which makes it scarier and more intense, which is the point. I also think regular mobs should stay because again it makes the experience more intense and scary which is the point. Only other small thing is I think would be cool is that I like that it only spawns in pale forest but it’d be cool if there was a very rare chance, like 0.5% that it spawns inside any given tree in other biomes, like dark oak forests and jungles. Imagine experiencing it in a dark forest at night when it basically isn’t supposed to be there…. Also it should do more damage. Like half the amount of the warden
Happy birthday father of Wattles! I think the Creaking would be useful in Redstone as a day/night cycle sensor in things like clocks (providing they despawn at sunrise, which I'm not sure if they mentioned).
I feel like the potential structure for this biome is already in the name: a garden. We already have mansions so that wouldn't really add much. Fingees designed a fantastic spooky garden for this biome, I would love to see something like it in 1.22!
Like others have said, this biome needed fireflies. Make them look like the creaking's eyes and flicker all around this biome. Also Happy Birthday Senior Wattles!
5:08 that was exactly my first thought when I saw the mob for the first time; I love biomes that have no hostile mob spawns because it allows for awesome builds since you don't have to spawnproof anything But at the same time I feel like the biome isn't going to feel that intimidating anymore if they implement that
This paves the way for a update cycle where the focus is not that of huge themes like the nether or caves, but on individual features meant to add variety to the oveworld and tbh the community might be split on this but I think this is the best decision they've made so far. I don't think they should let go of themed updates yet, the amount of hype for a future end update is too big to pass up, but if their plan now is to focus on adding content to the overworld then this type of update cycle is probably for the best.
The biome could have larger trees where the creeking congregate and caves that go under the trees with rooted dirt and mangrove type roots dangling down. And then maybe deeper you go in harder it gets to see like some sort of blindness or something idk and then some sort of final part or maybe a network of creaking tunnels where the tree roots are interconnected etc.
A splendadacious birthday to Wattles' Dad 🎉 I also had the idea for this Mob if its camouflages itself with the trees and doesn't come out straight away to lull you into a false sense of security, to me that would make it all the more creepy as you wouldn't know when it was going to make itself known, and you wouldn't know where it was going to jump scare you from :-D
I wonder if it stops moving if you go in third person and see it? Edit: also in the minecraft live when they were in the pale garden the sky wasnt blue, which does that mean in the pale garden everything might lose colour?
I think the creeping needs just a few tweaks; more damage, slightly faster, and no other mobs spawn in the forest. I want to be alone with its sounds. Also a small structure and unique loot would be awesome. Creates purpose for going there at night. Otherwise I’d just leave or sleep at night. I think something that you can only do at night would be unique for Minecraft and give you a reason to not sleep
With what I’ve seen ‘bout the responses to the creaking, sometimes I do wonder if I’m the only person who’s actually kind of excited for this thing, not ultra excited, but intrigued enough with it since it’s something a tad bit different from other mobs and biomes outside the warden.
I feel like an addition of actual fog and a new tall and spindly tree variation would make the new biome fit the mood better. If they’re going for a haunted forest, why not go all out? It would also be a great opportunity to add owls to the game which the community as wanted for a long time
Maybe as the Creaking walks it converts appropriate blocks (grass, dirt, coarse dirt, podzol, mycelium, etc) to rooted dirt? Perhaps the Creaking simply works as an active block-spreader, moreorless a walking watering can if you've played with mods before. Things to check out: 1)can it be put into a boat/minecart? 2)if you're looking at the Creaking but you break line of sight (closing a door, ducking behind a wall, falling into a hole, etc) will that cause the mob to start moving or will it stay put because you're looking in that direction? 3)will it be able to scale walls (we have mobs that ignore fall damage, why not mobs that ignore gravity by "stepping up or down" any height difference)? 4)if the heart has a "player picked up" tag, will the Creaking it spawns ignore you the way a created iron golem ignores the player?
I can’t wait to see what other mobs they implement that have unique properties like this one. The idea of it having an external source is an interesting element and will expand the possibles of future mobs maybe biomes and stronghold design
Hopefully they add a structure that the creaking protects and one of the rewards was a disc connected to the disc 5, 11, and 13 story, would make sense since we got a disc for the warden
I think the Creakings eyes should close when a player is making eye contact. Like it's playing dead and imitating a tree. Then, just as you begin to look away, they open again before he starts moving towards you
So they have a range they can go from the creaking heart. That means likely as I said the hearts on generation would be spaced out evenly with that distance in mind. Meaning even if you get far enough away from them you're still gonna encounter another one in that same distance. YOU'RE NOT SAFE
I hope they make it so that rather then strictly needing the blocks above and below it to be wood, you can make it the blocks on either side too if the heart is placed sideways. That way you can have it still work for a fallen log.
Happy birthday wattles dad! Hope you have a fantastic day! As for the creaking of i had to change anything, id say, nane it do piercing damage, just so it can by pass any armor, like warden's sonic boom, just so its a real threat even in late game, other than that...creaking and the pake garden are my 2nd absolute most favorite biome and mob! I cannot wait to get those snapshots!

zombies fit that description and still regularly kill players.
To be fair they probably made the damage pitiful on purpose only to showcase it during the live
@@silverswan2673 Not true, zombies at least are everywhere and drop rotten flesh
Hear me out: add orange fireflies so they look like the creakings eyes
And yeah i saw a comment suggesting this under the actual Minecraft live video so not my idea
Alsoo happy bday
10:16 amen say it LOUDER
I saw this on a Reddit comment, but someone had the idea that when you start to break the heart, firstly it takes ages. Like stone pic on obsidian. But as you mine it the creaking slowly creaks and walks towards you while you break the heart
wattles we need a creaking jumpscare
happy 60th birthday to your dad btw
WE DO
We need it's loot
Happy birthday creator of wattles, i am so grateful that you made wattles for us so he can make nice yt videos for us, you're the best wattles senior
Happy birthday to Wattles dad 🎉🎉🎉
Happy Birthday Mr. Wattles Sr.!
Living through this world for 60 years is quite the accomplishment, and you should be proud!
Not to mention you fostered a beautiful individual into this world that is Wattles.
So thank you, Wattle's Sr.! I will be celebrating you today 💜
Happy Birthday Wattle's Dad! 🥳🎂🎉
WAIT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LITTLE PEEK INTO THE TRAPDOOR DESIGN?? THAT LOOKS SO COOL OMG 8:11
(Im seriously only excited for this update simply for the door and trapdoor)
It's not the first a symmetrical mob is not the creeking it's the moshroom
A feature that would be really cool with the creaking is the closer it gets to the creaking heart the more damage it can do because its connection is stronger the closer it is and it wants to protect its life force. I think it'd add a bit more to the mob and add a decision of run or take the chance of taking it out.
Happy birthday wattles dad ur great!
Wonderful video as always!
Happy birthday Wattles' dad :)
could you use a creaking heart to distract the warden in an ancient city if you accidentally summon him? Maybe the Warden would aggro on the Creaking while you sneak away and you sort of hard lock the Warden in that spot. It cant kill the Creaking and as long as you stay facing the Creaking you can back away.
Ph1LzA tested that out and it actually does work. If you're being too loud or get too close you can still draw aggro from the warden, but as long as you stay crouched it should only focus on the creakings. Nice pfp btw.
I think instead of it just disappearing it should turn into a statue that you can collect or chop down for wood.
I love the idea of it spreading the dead moss everywhere in the day
My personal opinion is the creaking should have variations taller, shorter, and different shapes
Also happy birthday! 🥳
Lowkey disappointing update, they need to add fog and taller trees and make this mob actually scary
This is not 1.22 but yeah I agree with other stuff
I think it would've been great if Mojang adds a spooky soundtrack when you spot the mob
@RahulNijhawan123 the devs never said that so don't put out sourceless info.
And make it have different looks
@@Chance_Rice they said its a drop (and they will do a lot of drops this year)
Happy birthday to your dad bro Love seeing your video coming that fast!!! KEEP IT UP bro and also its scary to be in dark at 3:00 am in minecraft when there is five night cracken mob in the game which has been added 😂
The new update looks so mid a desaturated biome and a immortal tree god which does half a heart if you don’t look at it
You look mid

One of the things I hate-love in horror games is needing to turn around constantly and knowing that SOMETHING will be eventually there, bonus if it is hard to spot but when you finally notice it you feel a chill on the spine. The creaking does blend in the forest but it looks kinda easy to notice it with those big ahh eyes, i hope they add something to imitate its eyes (like i saw a comment on the trailer, that there could be fruits that has a similar shape?) so you can truly feel lost sometimes, not knowing where to look or what's real or not. And when you spot the real one it's already late
Imagine if you could use any wood type so you could get a cherry creaking, a crimson creaking, warped creaking etc ... that wounds be so cool!
Happy birthdat Wattles dad 🎉
And for all of you asking for loot in this biome, I have an idea, if you break a creaking heart without Silk touch, it could give you something like amber, which can be useful to make another creaking heart or even potions, and this being a resource needed, I think that pale sapplings could have a small chance of putting a creaking heart in the tree, in this way it can be renovable
I had the same reaction to the creaking with the memory of one of the old warden concepts, I immediately thought about the asymmetrical design one.
Happy bday to your dad!
And I was also thinking no other mobs should spawn in the biome and in turn increasing the attack damage of the creaking.
5:08 that was exactly my first thought when I saw the mob for the first time; I love biomes that have no hostile mob spawns because it allows for awesome builds since you don't have to spawnproof anything
But at the same time I feel like the biome isn't going to feel that intimidating anymore if they implement that
This paves the way for a update cycle where the focus is not that of huge themes like the nether or caves, but on individual features meant to add variety to the oveworld and tbh the community might be split on this but I think this is the best decision they've made so far.
Happy bday to your dad wattles
This would be a perfect time to add ambient sounds to the biomes in vanilla minecraft to fit this scary update, happy birthday btw
A splendadacious birthday to Wattles' Dad 🎉
I also had the idea for this Mob if its camouflages itself with the trees and doesn't come out straight away to lull you into a false sense of security, to me that would make it all the more creepy as you wouldn't know when it was going to make itself known, and you wouldn't know where it was going to jump scare you from :-D
Happy Birthday Wattles' Dad!!!! Thanks for gifting Wattles to the world! Have a wonderful day!!
Happy 60th Papattles (papa wattles)! Many, many happy returns ☺️
Things to check out:
1)can it be put into a boat/minecart?
2)if you're looking at the Creaking but you break line of sight (closing a door, ducking behind a wall, falling into a hole, etc) will that cause the mob to start moving or will it stay put because you're looking in that direction?
3)will it be able to scale walls (we have mobs that ignore fall damage, why not mobs that ignore gravity by "stepping up or down" any height difference)?
4)if the heart has a "player picked up" tag, will the Creaking it spawns ignore you the way a created iron golem ignores the player?
I would like it if the creaking had some sort of use, maybe it could drop something, but i like the idea of a spooky forest in Minecraft!
I can’t wait to see what other mobs they implement that have unique properties like this one.
The idea of it having an external source is an interesting element and will expand the possibles of future mobs maybe biomes and stronghold design
Happy 60th birthday to your dad, wattles! I love watching your videos too!
Hopefully they add a structure that the creaking protects and one of the rewards was a disc connected to the disc 5, 11, and 13 story, would make sense since we got a disc for the warden
Dang 60 years around the sun. Congratulations and happy birthday wattles dad 🎉

Happy birthday Wattles dad
You raised a good kid
Ok my idea for the creaking is that instead of despawning during the day it becomes a statue that doesnt move this would make it super creepy.
The “Creaking” reminds me of the Hidebehind, and the Pale Heart being the true “body” reminds me of Dryads or Spriggans.
Happy birthday wattle’s dad! May you find nothing but joy in all your days to come.
Happy 60th birthday Wattles’ dad!!! Wish him a happy birthday for us
Happy birthday wattles dad!
