@@iandanielcassidy8126 Good luck to you! Hope you become a great one!
Fun fact: I worked at DNA Productions, home of Jimmy Neutron, at the time, and I worked on these shots of Jimmy and Goddard. Nobody knew who was going to win, so all the studios made shots of their characters winning and losing. So there are lost shots out there of both Mike and Sully and Jimmy and Goddard winning and Shrek and Donkey losing.
Also, you may have guessed already if you thought it through, but these shots were not CG characters live composited on attendees of the ceremony. They were composited on pre-filmed footage of actors who were never at the actual ceremony reacting to empty seats. You can tell, some of the actors are kind of hamming it up in an unnatural way.

It went over your head because you don’t know monsters inc is actually about adrenochrome
I actually still don’t understand the joke. I know about Harvey Weinstein but I don’t understand the relation to monsters inc
@@hobomike6935 exactly that’s my point. People think they caught the joke just because they know Weinstein is a creep. The me too stuff has nothing to do with monsters inc. in monsters inc the monsters feed off of the energy/FEAR of the children. Just like it the clown. Just like Freddy Krueger. These aren’t coincidences. All these characters and movies were made by pedopjiles who understand Adrenochrome. Adrencohrome is the blood/energy of a traumatized/FEARED adolescent. These people kill children/animals and sacrifice them to the “gods” they worship. The adrenochrome is said to give life and basically keep you young. Yes it’s disturbing but I’m just telling you the truth.
Back in the old days, where times were better
Honestly, it would be nice to see Shrek in the Oscars audience more often. Just cut to a wide of the theatre and there he is, tuxedo and all.

“Oh hello there! Shrek here, and I’m ticked off! At people who think just because I’m an Ogre, I can’t win an Oscar!”
_”Are you kidding me?”_
Since the franchise went on too long and the internet turned it into a meme its easy to forget how different Shrek was at the time. Disney's own animation department stopped making hits and was seen as old and tired while Dreamworks was brand new, making a film that could have fit in with any of the live action comedies and starring the biggest names in Hollywood comedy at the time. Well deserved.
Shrek 2 is the best of the four movies
The internet made sure Shrek is forever remembered what are you talking about
@@juanin200 Four-year-old comment, before the recent revisiting of interest in the original movie. There was a good period of time when Shrek was being looked back at as passe. And it did run into sequelites after the second one.
I know it sounds unspeakable right now but to be fair a lot of changes were made largely by imitators and the trends that didn't necessarily start with the but certainly made popular by original Shrek has continued to be seen feature animation; it wasn't reasonable but peeps were bound to blame it for the saturation that is arguably still happening today.
Shrek and Wallace and gromit are the only DreamWorks movies that won an Oscar.
Shrek 2 was better than it’s predecessor. Shrek was iconic, but 2 took everything that made the 1st great and improved.
