Never heard of this recipe before. I will surely give it a try. Lauki is a very healthy veggie and using it in Dosa will be even more good. thank you dear!
Really like ur recipes..... Fermented food ko avoid hi Krna padta tha so dosa to kha hi nahi skte the but heartily thanks to you.... Apki isi sab technique ki wajah se now we can eat dosa with no guilt.... 💖☺️
I make this and in many variations too - adding oats/millets/sprouts etc. One suggestion. You may consider using its skin nd pulp instead of discarding. They are replete with nutrients too. Given they get ground and there will not be annnny difference in taste.
@@bhusanur.cooking Yeah, that tastes great too. What i meant to say though was ಕಸ'ದಿಂದ' ರಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಬದಲು, 'ಕಸ'ವನ್ನೇ ತೆಗೀದೇ ಇರೋದು!😂😄 - this loosely translates what i meant to say: but yeah, I'm sure you got what i did - not adding extra work unless u want another side dish😊
I tried this lauki dosa today and loved the flavour. It is similar to Mangalore cucumber/ cucumber dosa we prepare at home except we don't add moong dal . Just rice coconut and either Mangalore cucumber or cucumber. This is really a great way to use lauki and it tasted good too. Thank you for sharing the recipe. I will share this with my mom as well.
@@bhusanur.cooking Good morning. As a matter of fact, I did make it last night. I feel it was a bit dense. Taste was fine, but a little dense. Any solutions please? Will be very grateful. Also kindly suggest what other vegetables can be used when we don't have lauki. Yday I used cucumber, but could not taste it. Thank you for all that you are doing. God bless you.😇
There are 3 main reasons. 1. Pan is more greasy - wipe out excess oil. 2. pan is not enough hot or over heated - set to medium or medium high depends on the pan you use. 3. batter is more thick than required consistency - make it smooth and pourable consistency. i.e, thinner than regular dosa batter. Hope you got it.
