Fantastic shave, Lyubo!! I am so glad you enjoyed the Overlander!! I selected the brass version specifically because I wanted a razor which would develop a patina; in my case, patina would be more correctly described as provenance. Additionally, I frequently use vintage Gillettes, so I am used to how brass feels in the hand. The G-Tech handle pays homage to one of my favourite vintage Gillette handle designs - the Fat Handled Tech. The Overlander handle is unique and the Wagner handle is gorgeous, but the handle style was an easy choice.
Thank you Aaron, you it's a very special razor! Thank you for bringing some insight about the customization choices that you picked. The handle is excellent, I like short handles.
It's called the GOATLANDER by many for a reason. Extremely well designed razor, very good efficiency and one of the smoothest / most comfortable razors in the market. I really had a feeling you would enjoy this one. It's my best razor along with the Lambda Athena and It will never leave my den. I think the lack of audio feedback is mostly due to the design which is coincidentally the reason for the amazing shaves it gives. It has some of the best blade clamping in the industry and very close to the edge so it completely eliminates blade chatter and the blade does not vibrate. This also means almost no sound. The material (brass) might also play a role there but I'm not knowledgeable enough regarding materials science to make a statement.
Indeed! You were right that I'll like it :) I love how the Athena looks also heard great things about it. Unfortunately it's too hard and expensive to get one in Canada, that's the deal breaker for now.
Thank you brother, yeah that razor is so good! High chance that it may take my GOAT spot as well. Just need to get one and do more shaves with it. Enjoy a great weekend as well my friend!
It’s a great, high quality razor. I have one in SS. Sometimes it feels just a little too mild for me. If only it was just a tiny bit more aggressive…. But I do understand the hype. Keeping mine until my son will start shaving on a regular basis. Then will pass it on to him with much love, knowing that he got a great product
Own both the Bison and the aluminium Overlander. Overlander is gentler and slightly more efficient, but requires more attention and teqnique to master. Bison is easier to use in terms of finding the shaving angle, and works with more variety of blades due to the downwards clamped blade curvature. Overlander might have the edge in how pleasant it feels during shaving. End result of shaves is quite similar, my pick would be the Bison, much to the nimble head, it's consistency to give DFS shave (minimum) every time, and it's ability to squeeze out more shave per blade, Overlander dulls them pretty fast.

A great razor that will never leave my den. I have brass and copper!
Thank you for stopping by Matt! I'll be ordering one soon :)
Beautiful Brass Razor, great shave!
Thank you Robert!

Enjoy a great weekend as well my friend!
@ you’re most welcome!! Yeah more time on it and it’ll be in your top 3 af the very least… I’m confident of that.
@@JMac. it's pretty much in top 3 already. You could probably tell when I messaged you earlier today haha 😅
@ oh yes…. I definitely had that thought lol.

That's fantastic! I'm sure that your son will enjoy many excellent shaves with it! :)
I notice the Henson and the Karve have a lot of similarities in design, both smooth.💈
Interesting observation! I personally enjoy the top cap geometry of the Overlander way more, allows for more angle play.
Great Video!! Thank you!
Thank you! I'm glad that you liked it! 🙏
Great video my friend! Hope you had a great friday
Thank you brother! Appreciate your support big time!
Enjoy a great weekend!
Yes! Please do a comparison between the Overlander and the Bison
I'm looking to add a Karve to the collection but not sure which one to get 😅
Alright, will try to squeeze some time for it. My schedule is crazy I'll see what I can do. IMO you can't go wrong with any of them.

@@jjtt9789 ohh that's very interesting observation! Thank you so much for sharing. I'll do a head to head comparison soon.
