This game is a perfect example of how much I love watching you guys. There has been a lot of weird small games this season that really aren’t my cup of tea but I still watch every episode because you guys are so great!!
Loved watching y'all play. As you play more times, some of those harder words, like microwave, are easier to guess, for sure! Glad you enjoyed the game, and thank you for showing it to all the nice people.
Yay! Rachael is back, love a bit of Scarlett Johansson board gaming. Lincoln... dude!! You' can't let us know you played before lol ... I felt like part of my childhood was stolen away... Now every time someone says "Dave, will you teach us X" a fairy will die. I totally got "vampire"... how could they not see that lol. Great as always crew, ordered the game :)
Lincoln, just a thought I had when you built truck. I knew it was a truck and I was hoping you’d throw the rest of the tiles in the back of the truck as junk.
I believe I remember Stephen Fry telling me that there is no difference whatsoever between a ship and a boat. Regardless, I certainly wild have accepted boat. The terms are used interchangbly. Game seems fun, but having bough Pantone I don't see need to have both :)
Sex Bob-omb! Truck, truck, truck. Also, I totally guessed all four in the final round. This looks great so gotta get this (especially since I still can't get Belratti). The great thing about it is it eliminates the advantage that better artists have in games like Pictionary. And agree that Rachel should join the table again soon! And, when she does, I think Lincoln and Dave need to add color in their hair in solidarity.
John Keel I don’t think it completely eliminates the advantage better artists have. A good artist can use whatever they have available to make what’s in their mind. For example, on Dave’s skyscraper that turned out to be a snowman, Lincoln suggested tipping the squares into diamonds. That’s an artistic choice that honestly would have led me to guess snowman.
LOL! I'm sure he means that on the east coast the sun rises on the ocean since that is what he is reading the blue in my rendering. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
Colin Beerbower I think the confusion here came from Dave saying “going for the points” while meaning “picking an easier word” and Rachel said the same. Then Dave interpreted “going for the points” as trying for the extra point after the round was done, and Rachel corrected that notion. She may not have corrected it properly, but it didn’t seem confrontational to me. She just seemed surprised that he thought she was “going for the big points” when she was “going for the easier points.” Either way, everyone’s going for the points :p
I think the game is broken. You get points if people guess yours. If they do not you get no points. They could effectively not guess yours on purpose to prevent points from being given. You should get more for guessing correctly and a point for each person guessing yours correctly.
i think this is more of a game for fun and to pass time rather than score points as such....but there will always be gamers obsessed with their points....you could of course add a home rule regarding your scoring suggestion
So yes it is obviously for fun (aren't all games unless you are some type of professional gamer) but since there are points here the point made stands true...more should be for a correct guess than for being guessed correctly.
Seems to me Dave kept referring to Racheal as ‘her’ more often than not compared to the other players he called upon . She has a name and her name is Racheal and she should be a regular on GN.
Garry Stoelk this is something that happens a lot in regard to Nicky also - not just from Dave though he would be the main source. I don’t think that there’s any malice to it, but I do cringe when it happens.
I hope Rachael joins "Game Night" more often. I really like her. The chemistry between you guys is great!

A ship is a boat that has auxiliary vessels, like a tender or lifeboats.
