The fact that you were able to pick up these books at an honest price is only part of your story. The more important part is that you did this in front of your child. That lesson is what makes this story so special, not that you’ve got the books, not that you paid a fair price, but the lessons that your child took away. Great job being a father.

Great deals Mike! Your honesty is refreshing. You are absolutely right, many collectors would pay a dollar for those X-Men books. There are even u-tubers who pride themselves on getting steaks like that. I personally find taking advantage of people unnecessary. You still got a great deal and more importantly sowed seeds of friendship that lead to a much better harvest. Cheers!❤

Wonder Woman is JL Dark's liaison with the Justice League, although she has also been on missions with JLD. Incidentally, JL Dark is one of my favourite DC series.
I agree with your approach when someone is undercharging for comics. It's my favorite thing about you. I would do the same thing.
I went to a yard sale on Saturday and found some ok books!
Screw that! If I find a hidden gem at a steal, I ain't saying nothing! As few deals you can find nowadays, I am absolutely grabbing a steal....

Absolutely honesty is the best policy, great way to make friends and gives others a fair deal, LOVE Justice League Dark, Loved the revamp Captain Marvel, and Nova, that Hulk series I have been looking for since I first heard about it, I had that four part series originally Of Batman Ra's Al Ghul , having carpet put in my apartment and placed some of my belongings in corner of hall by my door, and approximately 600 of my comics got stolen from right outside my open doorway!!! Pretty stupid but also leaves with the motto NEVER TRUST YOUR NEIGHBORS!!! I still

I recently bought around 60 comic books at an antique store for $10 since i wanna get into comic book collecting and all of the comics i got were from the 70s,80s, and 90s
for sure a good thing to do...good deals will bring about better deals
Tynion's Dark run was great and #7 was my favorite book of that year!
Justice League Dark Vol.2 is a fantastic series. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially Witching Hour Saga and the stories when Ram V took over writing duties.

I'm just like you. I couldn't just pay a dollar. I found a comic at a toy store he wanted 5 dollars it was a 190 comic. Told him, and he said he knew it.

Amazing hauls! I'm so bummed the MCU stepped on the World War Hulk storyline. It would have made an incredible film.
2:00 The Double Trouble Anti-drug PSA was a comic I had trouble finding. Finally found it last year. Not valuable but the Canadian version takes place in the City.

Its funny that second sale you went to i ended up there as well and bought all the comics...i knew that suitcase of comics looked familiar 😂...it was actually after they did the sale they still had 6 long boxes and they gave me a deal i couldn't pass up. Great grabs as always mike and happy hunting

Nice comics and the George R R Martin write in to Blue Beetle is a cool find. I’ve never heard you mention it before, but do you recall the first comic you bought or read? Was it the X-men that initially got you interested in comics? Blessings to you and the family.

Great finds at a fair price! I agree on paying more if they are priced way too low. Also, have heard you mention Jim Starlin and Wil Simonson( maybe?) on your channel. I found that I have some Malibu comics written and drawn by them from the early 90s I think. App says not really worth much but they have both don't some amazing work. What's you opinion?

This year another youtube channel was in my recommended list, one of their videos was the husband and wife looking through an older person's storage locker. The seller didn't know the value of their comics and sold late bronze and copper age keys for a dollar. I stopped watching this channel because of their attitude. In the video they acted like they stole the books and almost like they were laughing at this old person.
Mike, I don't think you have to explain about being honest. Unlike this other channel, you are trying to build a community and make the hobby better for everyone.
If you haven’t already, try to read the Planet Hulk story before World War Hulk.
