I got story about geo which he mot mentioned before. I commented on a video years ago I can’t get tickets to a West Ham match because I a, in a wheelchair and he told me to email him and he got someone West Ham to phone my daughter nd we got tickets and I emailed him to say thank you and said my daughter have to push me nut I pro, miss it was just a joke but when we went down to hotel reception at Westfield someone from West Ham was there and they pushed me all the way into the ground so my daughter could walk with me and not push
On way to ground geo met us on the bridge as sutprise and gave me a hammers chat badge and scarf and wouldn’t taken anything from me to pay
If he didn’t sort I don’t think I would have ever got as I emailed West Ham but they didjt reply but geo got someone to phone my daughter and he probably won’t remember me but I never forgotten
Wish I could send more but am on benefits but hope everyone puts in one pound but I wanted to say thank you for what you did

Give Lopetegui time ? He has been given more time by the supporters and the board than he deserves .
He has conned himself into a job that he is unsuited and incapable of performing with archaic and thoughtless
    tactics .
Any more time would find us in the relegation zone .

I was more optimistic than others when I saw JLo was the favourite for the job, hoping given time he could turn us into the Premier League’s equivalent of Sevilla and he did do a good job at Wolves. If money was no object he wouldn’t have been my number 1 target and as I made clear before he got the job I wanted a “winner”, such as the likes of Mourinho, Sarri, etc., as for me that’s the only way that’s an “upgrade” on Moyes. Sadly it hasn’t proven to be the case and I can’t see him taking us any further than 12th in the table and even that’s arguably being generous. We’ll beat the crap teams, get the odd point or 3 against the other mid table teams and lose to the teams in and around the European places. He’s tactically naive and not a good man manager and I think it’s time we let him go and get the right man in this time. I think the biggest concern is even JLo, let alone Sullivan, made better signings than what our worshipped director of football has. JLo wanted Kilman and Rodriguez and Kilman. Sullivan was supposedly responsible for Wan-Bissaka and Summerville. Meanwhile other than Tobido Tim was responsible for Guilherme, Dinos and Fullkrug. Other than being a better negotiator than Sullivan I really don’t get all the fuss over this bloke.

I would like to take a risk and make a number of points:
    1. First, on a positive, many congratulations to Geo on his marriage and his baby - great events!
    2. The warnings signs were apparent very early: J.Lo. completely fails to communicate effectively at press conferences, and I saw that Kudos, for one, looked "fed-up", a sign that he was not buying into a system he doesn't understand. If you cannot inspire at a press conference, imagine what it's like at training sessions and in the dressing room. I wrote to Karen Brady, whom I admire, and raised my concerns, offering to make some recommendations of communication coaches (P.S. I'm half Basque and speak English and Spanish - and some German - to at least get everyone singing from the same song sheet. Unfortunately no response.
    3. Geo is right, there is no template, no core plan. It's OK to vary tactics from match to match, but there must be a recognizable style running match to match. There is none.
    4. It is simply not acceptable, to have such a collection of talent, and not be able to harness their energy and enthusiasm. J.Lo. should stay just long enough to identify a new manager with a clear style that can release our talented group.
    5. I want to see the youth brought through now! It is not possible to spend so much money on one of the most talented Brazilian youngsters and not give him some regular minutes.
    6. Discipline: we are picking up too many yellow cards for silly tackles or in the Kudos`case, frustration.
    7. It is ESSENTIAL that there is a demonstrable and visible unity between the management team: all believing in the defined playing style, extending down through the youth and female teams.
    8. The upper management must act now!

I'm no football tactician, don't have any coaching badges or anything like that, so I probably have no right to comment.
But, it seems to me players should play in the position that they are most comfortable in and that they have developed to become.
Those players should then have some consistent time together on the pitch so they can get to know each other's strengths, etc, and bond together.
Then you play to the strengths that come to the fore and mould your team around that.
Messing the positions of players week on week doesn't help any team.
A manager playing their preferred system, regardless of the players abilities to execute that system, is rather back to front thinking.
I was expecting much more from Lopetegui.
He now seems as inflexible as Moyes was but in a different system.
Just like Moyes, he will get lucky results sometimes, but it isn't a sustainable, growth orientated, plan.
I doubt the board will get a good manager in anyway. Sack Lopetegui certainly, but who will come for the job, and would Sullivan pay out to do the right thing and get the right man? Could any new manager get us the upward league momentum we want as fans in the current club structure.
We call ManU a basket case of a club, is the WHU board thinking ManU model is the one to follow rather than Liverpool?
Confusion is the only constant at the moment.

It's a shame it's got to this .The warning signs were evident in the friendlies, but it looked like Lope was a safe pair of hands after he got Wolves away from danger, but he doesn't seem to know how to deal with our lot. The chopping, and changing drastically is usually a sign of someone who isn't sure of what to do for the long term.

Ok, easy way out if Lopetegui walked of own accord, but would rather we be damn decisive for a change and sack him now so that we can have the international break to get a new coach in. Lost any hope Lopetegui can turn this mess around, just more chopp and changing to no real effect except utter confusion and loss of confidence for players and fans.

I think the Supporters are more or less singing from the same Hymn Sheet just now in that none of us are sure about Julen Lopetegui - trying to be positive I'll say our opening performances against Manchester City , Crystal Palace , Brentford and Ipswich looked encouraging and of course we rode our luck against Manchester United - everything else has been.....well......shyte .
I think we may see improvement when Fullkrug gets fit AND we play with three at the back .
In order to get the best out of Wan-Bissaka and Emerson we HAVE to go 3 at the back with Alvarez playing as some type of sweeper role ala 2nd half vs Manchester United .
There's no point playing Kudus out left , he just doesn't like it so he either gets dropped or plays a No8 or No10 type role - it's a choice between him and Paqueta currently - one makes way for the other .
    Left Wing - Summerville /Antonio - CF - Fullkrug - RW - Bowen .
We haven't had a focal point up front and that needs addressing - so get Fullkrug fit or buy in January .
The problem Sullivan has is when to pull the trigger , when is too late ?
    Time to start thinking .

I don’t like firing managers, especially in the first half of the first season. But, Julen demonstrably displays that he can’t solve this puzzle, and is out of ideas. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing, and that’s not going to just happen out of the blue. We have decent players but they look like pub league players. I don’t think it’s a case of seeing nothing from Lopetegui, it’s that we’re seeing less than nothing. We’re worse than last season, arguably with better players. Sure, things are always circumstantial, but there’s ’shit happens’, and there’s ’not being able to roll with shit happening’. Our coach is doing the latter. If we could see what he was trying to do, if there was a plan on view that just hasn’t clicked yet that we can see, then I’d say keep going. But he looks lost and I think he needs to leave, unfortunately.

Re Bowen as captain, it must be really tough for him being new to the role and having a new manager whose ideas are clearly pish and having to walk the line between supporting him and enforcing his ideas. He probably clearly knows those ideas are crap and don't work and all the lads who are his mates also know don't work and it's going through the motions until common sense prevails from the boardroom. I'm not sure even a Roy Keane leads a mutiny against the manager

After the big rebuild, I thought it would take until the Christmas period to click, but we are nowhere near, and it doesn't look like it will happen.
Lopetegui has had all summer and up to now to at least get the players understanding his system, but it's not happening. He doesn't even know his starting 11 yet.
We are going to lose a lot of players who are out of contract in the summer, and if we finish low in the table, we will lose a lot more who want to be playing at the highest level. That means another rebuild and a season of adjusting. I think it's best for all if we part ways with Lopetegui now rather than later

Loppy has since moved him into more of an offensive player. Loppy hasn’t used the ingredients he requested correctly. Summerville. Even Soler. Steiden has brought in the quality of players to West Ham that wouldn’t have came here before. On paper we have a very good squad. Loppy keeps pooping on the paper.

The buck of responsibility in all of these failures falls on that non-footballing genius David Sullivan, who simply finds it impossible to fully delegate without interfering, and in doing so usually screwing everything up in the process. As long as he continues to oversee this Club, we will always be, despite our incredible large fan base, a sleeping potential giant.

Jlo stays unless there is a plan. Our board. A plan. Hmm. Not sure I can see where any of this is going. Easy for the board to sit back and let JLo dig some more holes, but hoping they use this time to find an alternative that isn't Graham Potter, Eden Terzic or Benitez...

Okay, the points tally thus far 12 points (6 points behind 7th place Fulham)
IF we'd hired a manager with a clear plan, who didn't play out of position, was more proactive with starting line ups when they hadn't worked the previous game and hadn't alienated seemingly the entire squad, we'd think 12 points ain't great but we can see a process. BUT
There's no process/plan/strategy/man-management skills as far as Lopetegui concerned, sack him now!

This is the most unmotivated I have felt about West Ham even under Grant I did not feel this flat. All enjoyment has been sucked out. Every performance is getting successively worse., no team deserves to be in the premier league. With this clown staying up relies on there being three worse teams. If this continues he will drive out Kudos and Bowen. We can all see what's going wrong time for the board to act irrespective of the Everton result

I agree that Moyes had one game to save his job and went on to progress well, but he had a philosophy Loppy football is schizophrenia football. It's all over the place. He has to go and unfortunately I think we'll lose Vs Everton. For me, looking back at our performances, I think we couldn't argue the fact that we could easily be sitting on 3 points. AND CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE BABY NEWS AND THE WEEKEND! I hope we win for us fans obviously but mainly for you and your better half 😉

  • @sjt7076
    @sjt7076 หลายเดือนก่อน

How can it be putting personal opinion before the football club if you think us losing and him being sacked is what is best for the football club? You can easily twist it the other way and say that you’re putting your desire for three points and bragging right over Everton before what is best for the football club. I know that’s not how you feel but i think everyone wants what is best for West Ham and that is not necessarily 3 points this weekend and a stay of execution for Lopotegui.

I really feel we don't have the players/squad to actually do any better than we are. Can you see these players (2nd oldest squad in the prem) being fast enough to compete in the top half of the PL? Our MF is full of carbon copies... Our defence is one of the worse statistically in the league. Our forwards: Antonio, Ings and Fulkrug...Combined age 97 years old.

He has had 3 months it's just plain to see. It's down to the board and Sullivan to twist or stick. But I guarantee sticking with him will be a disaster. Even if we beat Everton nothing will change Newcastle and Arsenal will thrash us. It's odds on
High press is not working, it's like he wants to play like Arsenal or City but it's just half done that leaves huge gaps for the opposition to have a field day.
Sullivan will drag it on, you just know it

I really hate the whole "you have to win the next game to save your job", that comes along Every Time there is a bad run of results. If he has decided to replace the manager because of lack of performances and results then why would a 1-0 victory against a poor side at home change that, it just reeks open owner being content with mediocrity at best so long as he can save a few quid.

I would like a younger manager that can inspire our players. Edin Terzic seems like he could do that. If you listen to him speak he is a smart guy that players will listen to. Even comments from Dortmund fans that I’ve seen on TH-cam are asking him to come back to dortmund.. I know it’s not the best way to gauge the opinion of an entire fanbase but I’m not sure how pragmatic he really is. But if one YT channel says it then everyone just jumps on the bandwagon. Dortmund scored 75,85,83, and 68 goals each season from 2021-2024 in Bundesliga..
