I bet the goal and assist stats for the two of them would swap over. The only reasons to sell Kudus is because he wants to leave or we get an offer too good to refuse. Also I hope we don't waste any of the potential transfer fee we get for him, on Ferguson, over rated 1 goal in five games striker.
I just said the same thing above. The reason Kudus is the one that has been selected to sacrifice literally 50% of his game is because he's the better player. This rumour is the most insane thing I have ever heard

Our club is a stepping stone for very good players. We either accept that and move Kudus on (and as fans we need to accept that also - some seem to think we’re a top top club - we’re simply not), or we say - you’re not going anywhere and lose him on a free transfer in a couple of years time (which is unsustainable financially). Kudus should be playing centrally in my view - number 10 or 8, I don’t understand why we’ve never played him there (he did for Ajax to good effect). We won’t bring in top talent - we get one in 5 transfers right and the times we’ve had a massive spend up (Pellegrini and last summer) we’ve largely wasted it. A club that serves mediocrity unfortunately, but then if we’re honest that is most clubs.
I'm thinking Sullivans strategy is simply to put Kudus name out there now, announcing he is for sale, hoping that in the Summer there will be a bidding war that may take it over his £85m release clause anyway. Jan will see a loan striker come in for us, perhaps Ferguson from Brighton
If we can sell a player that we can’t seem to properly fit into the squad for 100m and 2-3 players that’ll improve our first team 11 then I don’t see why not
I don’t think our summer window was actually that bad I just think we got completely the wrong manager for the squad. There is a huge disconnect at every level at the club and it’s driven by egos. Disagree with geo on the selling players/Leverkusen example, most the other leagues haven't the financial muscle to keep up with the premier league so they buy unheard of players, sell them on and go again where as the premier league teams can afford to keep and build, so good scouting is essential and keeping players is important, look at Southampton back in the day and few others and maybe Brighton atm are exceptions to the rule but you can't keep selling and expect to replace because no one team can always get it right, west ham especially recruitment over the last 15 years as a whole has been shocking especially in the strikers position, I think an example of good recruitment and my personal best would be Aaron Cresswell bought from Ipswich nominal fee, fixed a position for 10 years that would be my preferred model, again can't always find that situation in the game also on a regular basis
Considering the mess sullivan, loppy and steidten have made of the summer window I wouldnt sell any valuable asset. Just look at the centre back shambles,we loan out aguerd and giveaway kehrer for buttons and spunk 80 million on kilman and todibo,we waste money constantly
Even if he went for that money, every club knows we now have £100mil to spend and we are desperate for a striker. Every players valuation will increase 20%
If we are fortunate to sell him for over 80 million I would be interested how we invest it. My guess is weeks will pass, steidtman trying his hardest and lo and behold time will run out. More loan deals.
No thank you. I don’t want a striker at the expense of our talent. We sold Rice for a bit more than that and it has got us nowhere. No, sorry, we have gone backwards.
Hey Geo what do you think of Cunha at wolves? I feel like with a good offer we could get him and he’d suit west ham!! Also if people are talking about paying a crazy $60 million for fegurson why not go for someone like Boniface?

Selling Kudus is a mistake. He is a player who can bring a bit of magic and unlock a tight defence. Yes we’ll get some funds but there’s a high risk they will be wasted as has so often been the case. Haller, Scamacca, Andersen, Vlasic - they make so many mistakes. I would rather replace Lopetegui and get in a manager who can get the most out of Kudus and the rest of the squad

No chance but even less chance in January to get £100 million so what will we get I reckon 70 at best and even if we did where do we find a striker of that money standard the names linked Rashford etc are not the answer for me it’s the usual rubbish from our club
In answer to your question 'would you accept £100m for Mohammad Kudus?', my answer is no. Same as I said when a similar amount was offered for Declan Rice and same as I said way back when Rio Ferdinand was sold for silly money, and same as I always say when we let quality players go. For my money, this is part of the reason (but not the only reason) that we never seem to progress; we finally get a great squad assembled and do well for a season or two, but instead of building on that success, we sell our crown jewels and have to start over again and we wonder why we're never knocking on the Champions League door?
The thing is though, without selling Rice we wouldn’t have got Mohammed Kudus in the first place. I think the issue is the poor spending of such funds rather than the sale, personally. I don’t think we see the best of Kudus at WHU, unfortunately.
@@HammersChat Is that true, though? Kudus cost us about £40m... how much would we have earned through a higher league position, PL TV money, Euro prize and TV money, higher sponsorship rates etc etc, if we'd have built upon the success of having a team centred around Rice AND brought in Kudus? The Cup run and win stretched our thin squad to the point of dropping us from a sixth place finish, then a seventh place finish to a fourteenth place finish in the season that we won the Cup, we needed to strengthen. It could be argued that had Rice remained in the team, we could have won a second trophy on the bounce and finished higher than the ninth we actually did finish, which would have had us in Europe again this year. All of that should easily have paid for Kudus over the three year League rule limits... besides which, we've spent more than that on players beyond the Rice money, which shows we could still have bought Kudus and kept Rice.
Not being funny and being realistic kudos is not going to hang around for much longer anyway plus we do have some talent to fill he’s place not as good but good enough for us, makes sense to get big bucks and strengthen where needed and some players not wanting to be at the club anyway so n ex to cash in I agree if this goes ahead as long as we don’t piss around dragging our heels on new quality ⚒️⚒️⚒️
Absolute bollocks. I have just had a xmas gift of 20 Quid.Take this sullivan and get out of my beloved clubm it doesnt matter who the manager is,it will still be a shit show. I am sick of defending my club. Go now.I can do a better job in man motivation of the players than whoever they bring in. Sick of this self inflicted shit.
Would loved to have seen kudus up top.... so.... were gonna sell one of our best players without playing him in one of his best positions so we can gamble on buying a player for the position we wont play the player we sell in.... Typical fkn sullivan and typical day in the life of a west ham fan!! Infuriating!!!
Take what you can Kudus ... yes he's a good player ..but ... 1. Doesn't create enough 2. Doesn't score enough goals 3. Has a shite attitude Star boy 😂😂😂
Happily sell Kudus. Fantastic player and really has great potential, but for us we need to sell when value is high. £75-£90 gives us money to bring in to other players at least. Will be sad to see him go but this is what we need to do, buy for £20-£30 and sell for double+.
The only problem with that is Kudus is worth more than we will get for him. Nobody is going to spend 100m in January. Plus we won't spend the money properly as we never have when it comes to strikers. We haven't used Kudus properly, and we haven't seen the best of him. We are linked with Rashford, and Kudus is 10x better than him. Kudus can play as a false 9 and would do better than Rashford too.
You're 100% wrong if Declan rice is 100 million can you explain why you think Muhammad kudos is not worth that money He is the best player add holding up the ball and running past players which is okay people might not pay but he's worth everything penny Are you telling me that Somerville is 25 million no way he's too late If you're going to sell Muhammad to the 85 million no less no less it's alright to say sell him what is strength of a man I will be disappointed to see him wonderful set him I want to see the finished article brought in if you're saying Muhammad kudos is not a finished Artic I want to see the Finnish article if we were to sell for 85 Kind regards Irish JP
Hypothetically, what if we swapped Kudus for Duran plus cash? Duran would be at least 50m, maybe even 60m but Villa could be tempted. It could mean we shoot ourselves in the foot though by getting rid of the chance for Kudus and Duran to link up. Also, Tim could redeem himself by selling Fulkrug and Guilherme to buy more players that we need - just a thought? COYI✊🏼⚒🦘
West Ham and special talent apparently doesn't mix

I'm sure they won't get anything like 100 million for Kudus, 70 top wack l think hope I'm wrong
Well then they dont get him. He has an 85 million release clause
Ferguson looks ok, but is nowhere near a £60m player.
1. Doesn't create enough
2. Doesn't score enough goals
3. Has a shite attitude
Star boy 😂😂😂
Happily sell Kudus. Fantastic player and really has great potential, but for us we need to sell when value is high. £75-£90 gives us money to bring in to other players at least. Will be sad to see him go but this is what we need to do, buy for £20-£30 and sell for double+.
Agree 100%
Sullivan will use that money for dead woods
The only problem with that is Kudus is worth more than we will get for him. Nobody is going to spend 100m in January.
Plus we won't spend the money properly as we never have when it comes to strikers.
We haven't used Kudus properly, and we haven't seen the best of him. We are linked with Rashford, and Kudus is 10x better than him. Kudus can play as a false 9 and would do better than Rashford too.
You're 100% wrong if Declan rice is 100 million can you explain why you think Muhammad kudos is not worth that money
He is the best player add holding up the ball and running past players which is okay people might not pay but he's worth everything penny
Are you telling me that Somerville is 25 million no way he's too late
If you're going to sell Muhammad to the 85 million no less no less it's alright to say sell him what is strength of a man I will be disappointed to see him wonderful set him I want to see the finished article brought in if you're saying Muhammad kudos is not a finished Artic I want to see the Finnish article if we were to sell for 85
Kind regards Irish JP
Hypothetically, what if we swapped Kudus for Duran plus cash? Duran would be at least 50m, maybe even 60m but Villa could be tempted. It could mean we shoot ourselves in the foot though by getting rid of the chance for Kudus and Duran to link up. Also, Tim could redeem himself by selling Fulkrug and Guilherme to buy more players that we need - just a thought? COYI✊🏼⚒🦘
