so funny because I was literally talking to a friend how HARD it is for me to look in the mirror and not find myself "crazy looking". This week I even found myself blow drying again because I wanted to look "put together" for a few client meetings. I will get there one day.
Absolutely man lol I hear you. Even when it looks great sometimes natural I still find myself thinking if I just cut it I’d look a lot more traditionally put together haha 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Ha, I use Eyal as a reference when I show my barber. But I am only halfway there. I am really liking your channel so far. I have just turned 34, and it took me up until a year ago to embrace having curly hair, so your channel really helps on how to maintain it.

Good video I cut my hair when it's the same length as yours but I also like how I look with curls 🙃 I'm going to use pomade next time and other shampoo instead of H&S.
thank you so much for this, really appreciating your videos and humor! one question, when i use the pomade my hair stays looking wet like all day. have you had that happen before/do you know what to do about it?
Yes! All you have to do is touch it once it’s dried. Shake your head a little and just scrunch your hair with dry hands. Should take that wet look away but still hold it all together
I don't know what the hell my hair type is but you're the closest example to it. Most hair dressers I've been to only know how to work with straight hair and for many years I didn't know just how curly they were. I've found a great way to communicate with them and that is 90s George Michael. I show them a picture and they sometimes understand, other times just fuck my hair up.

You speak for the people! Does this mean you just rinse your hair on the average day? If you don't shampoo and conditioner everyday, do you put pomade in every morning? Thanks for the great video
Love your videos brother. I’m on Harry’s website as I am typing this and cant decide between the taming cream and the texturizing putty. Have you tried the former?
Hey Frankie! Amazing videos man, every time I come back to your channel it feels like you've gained 100 subs which is so awesome to see. Just had one question for you, is the pomade something you apply daily after a shower? If someone did shower daily and use conditioner everyday or every alternate day just wetting their hair, should they re-apply pomade each time? Thank you so much!
first off thank you for comin back!!! second, honestly on the days i just wash my hair i normally toss a hat on and wear a hat for the day. but if im not wearing a hat, the pomade goes in. at this point idk what my life would be like without it lol
One last question, idk if you already responded to it in your first video or not, but do you wet your hair every morning ? Even if you don't shampoo or don't put conditionner in
I kinda wanna know this too. I wet it this morning but didn't like how it felt a little greasy all day. I saw someone comment on one of his other videos that they use a spray bottle just to refresh things a little bit, so I think I'm gonna give that a try.
I do - i shower every morning, or at least stick my whole head under the faucet. Thats the one downfall of the pomade, you’ve gotta kind of start from scratch every morning. Spray bottle trick will probably work for sure, but you definitely need to get it wet every mornjng
A little bit of both, maybe a light massage at least. usually i try not to scrub with my fingers because I’ve heard it’s bad for your head? Don’t know how true that is but I’ve taken it to heart lol

Yeah man same. My hair is pretty much the same all over, it curls in the back too but I usually get some of the weight taken off in the back of my head so it’s not so thick, should have it be more flowy
@@MrFrankieJoseph okay cheers My barber always seems to butcher my hair then needs time to recover after a while but after that it’s usually okay Good thing with having long hair I can go a couple months without a cut
Might not be dandruff! You might just be drying out your scalp by using shampoo everyday. If you’re going to use something everyday just use conditioner and keep the shampoo to once a week! Try that out 🙏🏼
Can you send me a link of some shampoo and conditioner that I can use:)? I’m starting to grow out my curly hair and I have no conditioner and my shampoo douse not follow the rules.
Shit ! I’m wondering if maybe you need a hair thickening product?? Have you tried “Hims” ?? I hear it’s great but i haven’t tried ! But I’d say check it out
I use it everyday (unless I’m wearing a hat) - which is also why I like the “water based” pomades best, because they just rinse right out without needing to shampoo.
Hey man thanks for doing these videos, your hair is very similar to mine so it helps alot, especially since I've finally started to see the beauty of my curls 😂 Just wondering though, how much time did you let your hair grow to reach this state? Like how many months do you just let it grow before going to a barber? Thanks a lot man!
why you don't detangle your hair with a wide tooth comb in the shower? i heard it makes your curls better and you should only detangle your hair with conditioner in it and while its wet
Ya know I’ve heard mixed things. I hear it’s good but then i also hear that combing/brushing your hair when it’s wet can ruin your hairline so I’m just not taking any chances 😂
I think you’re right - But the wrong kind can dry out your scalp which damages and dries your hair so it’s important to get one that doesn’t coat your scalp with shit that’s gunna flake off
This is peak ADHD curly hair energy and it's what I've been looking for my whole f-ing life thank you so much Also how do you feel about low-poo/nopoo products?
My ADHD is in full effect lmao I honestly had no idea what low-poo/no-poo was but i just looked it up and it seems like I’m more of a low-poo guy (a technique that uses shampoo without aggressive sulfates, insoluble silicones and petrolatum derivatives to wash hair) so seems like my shampoo fits in that category. No-poo seems kinda wonky but hey open to trying 🤌🏼
@@MrFrankieJosephProblem with no poo is it'll take months for your hair to get used to it, and that's just for like a slight benefit if there's any at all. What you're doing is probably the best imo
Damn. I'm a curly girl with long hair and whenever I go get my hair cut, I only have them trim off the dry ends. Really nothing much. Like usually with telling them what I want, washing, trimming and everything I'm in there for like 20 mins tops. 80$. And that's considered cheap. Fml 😂 oh and also even though they really don't have to do much on my hair, a lot of hairdressers still somehow manage to mess it up. Like it sometimes just looks so crappy after a cut. I feel like a ton of hairdressers only know how to properly cut straight hair but not curls and that's kinda sad lol
I swear there’s some sort of weird disparity between what they charge men vs women lol!! So damn true lol! I actually seeked out a hair guy who has curly hair themselves and that helped a ton lol
hey man! I am from Spain and I looked for a no sulfates no parabens no silicones shampoo in the local megamarket but I couldn't find one without sulfates. Are those that harmful for curly hair? These do not have parabens or silicones, it is just sulfates. I hope you can answer me soon bud
It’s always the shampoo that’s a pain to find haha i don’t think it’ll be too bad for your hair, and there’s a good chance if it doesn’t have silicones or parabens then the sulfates are probably at a pretty low level even if it does have them
Ok I did a little research and found this site!! www.nepal.ubuy.com/en/product/Q240D14-american-crew-pomade-3-oz/?ref=list-es&ti=189 It’s not the same stuff I’m using but any “texturizing putty” or “pomade” should work! Try American Crew, it’s another favorite of mine besides Harry’s
just dont be too aggressive with it!! if your hair is dry and thin id say you should condition it more often to keep it hydrated and then the pomade should lock in the moisture and keep it from drying out
@@prats7 i think this one will work! www.amazon.in/dp/B08PGCYJFQ/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams
If you over shampoo it’ll be dry as hell! I’d say it takes about a month for your hair to get used to it. The trick is still showering every morning but just washing the product out without shampoo

Do you use your product every day in your hair
Anytime I’m not gunna wear a hat, yessir
you are hilarious, just subscribed
🙏🏼🙏🏼 glad to have ya here my friend !
@@MrFrankieJoseph how long did it take you to go from short buzzcut to hair length in that video.
@@christopherpenny7796 around 6-7 months!!
This is peak ADHD curly hair energy and it's what I've been looking for my whole f-ing life thank you so much
Also how do you feel about low-poo/nopoo products?
My ADHD is in full effect lmao
I honestly had no idea what low-poo/no-poo was but i just looked it up and it seems like I’m more of a low-poo guy (a technique that uses shampoo without aggressive sulfates, insoluble silicones and petrolatum derivatives to wash hair) so seems like my shampoo fits in that category.
Where'd u get the necklaces from?
A bunch of different places, i think urban outfitters and then the other were gifts
hey man! I am from Spain and I looked for a no sulfates no parabens no silicones shampoo in the local megamarket but I couldn't find one without sulfates. Are those that harmful for curly hair? These do not have parabens or silicones, it is just sulfates. I hope you can answer me soon bud
finding a no parabens no silicones no sulfates conditioner wasn't difficult but the shampoo is a pain in the ass.
It’s always the shampoo that’s a pain to find haha i don’t think it’ll be too bad for your hair, and there’s a good chance if it doesn’t have silicones or parabens then the sulfates are probably at a pretty low level even if it does have them
Bro plzzz reply you use texturing cream daily
Yesssir I use the pomade everyday I’m not wearing a hat lol
super helpful thanku!!
I love your videos dude your really funny👍🏿
idk why bu i fucking LOVE this man
I appreciate the love !!!
just straight up triflfin in the intro
Someone needs to take my camera away
@@MrFrankieJoseph no you just need help. like mental help.
@@hk6969 ur not wrong
Hi joseph. Im from nepal how can i buy this product help me out
Ok I did a little research and found this site!!
www.nepal.ubuy.com/en/product/Q240D14-american-crew-pomade-3-oz/?ref=list-es&ti=189
It’s not the same stuff I’m using but any “texturizing putty” or “pomade” should work! Try American Crew, it’s another favorite of mine besides Harry’s
Wb conditioners with alcohol in it? I heard it's bad for curls too
Yea for sure, i think the alcohol dries it out, u need to keep that shit hydrated !!
frankie i asked for a shape and my barber charged me $42 and asked my mum for her number what do i do
Lmaoo 😂😂 call the damn cops !!!
The editing is funny😂
Bless u dude
Where can I buy your shampoo and conditioner?
Any grocery store or target should have Dr Teals
do u use silk pillow case?
I don’t - I’ve heard about em for years but never actually gave it a shot since i shower most mornings but it’d be somethin good to try out
What should I do if my hair are dry and thin but still curly?
just dont be too aggressive with it!! if your hair is dry and thin id say you should condition it more often to keep it hydrated and then the pomade should lock in the moisture and keep it from drying out
@@MrFrankieJoseph could you please suggest me some pomade that's available in india?
@@prats7 i think this one will work!

there is no way i can go a week without shampooing but you're cool
Fair enough lmao as long as you’re not shampooing everyday u should be fine 😂
Thank you, man
How long does it take to train hair because I feel like if I don’t shampoo my hair at least 3 times a week it will be oily as shit 💀
If you over shampoo it’ll be dry as hell! I’d say it takes about a month for your hair to get used to it. The trick is still showering every morning but just washing the product out without shampoo
Where did your instagram go? Love these vids!🙌
Thank u my friend!! My IG should still be there !
@@MrFrankieJoseph Thanks man, found it. Bad internet at work so the link didn’t work. 😅
You look better with full hair :P
love your humour hahaha
2:27 WRONG, you need sulfate in your shampoo. THATS what gives you volume. i went back to using sulfate after 3 years. works for me
Really?! No shit, I’ve been hearing it dries hair out 🤌🏼 I’m gunna have to look more into it
do you ever hairdry
I dont, i used to try using a diffuser but it was too much effort for me lmao
THANK YOU
I also hate myself!
It's always weird it be IN the shower with golden retriever looking guy.
Always weird indeed

My dandruff kinda makes me want to shampoo daily, wdyt
My man ! Don’t shampoo daily, that’ll dry your scalp out more. Shampoo once a week but u can condition a couple times a week 🙏🏼
You look like you could be the older brother of kaleb Ohlemacher.
bro just said your hair looks better dirty and he is right
It’s the goddamn truth. Dirty hair is happy hair 😂😂
My cuts cost like 10$😬
That’s the way to do it!!
Can you please do a cold shower video just for the sheer comedy value?….
this would be my hell but also i love where ur heads at
Finaly someone that showed us curly hair bastards how not to look homeless when we wake up and keep it simple.
You literally cant find a normal video about curly hair ,its always some dudes that use 10 products and sleep in silk and probably jerk off to their own hair.
I am laughing my ass off. The accuracy of this comment lmao. That’s how i felt !!! Glad i can help out here 😂
Really enjoying this, but totes cringing at the waste of water… 😅
1000% understandable lmao but i live in upstate NY where there is no shortage of water 😂 if i was still in LA i'd turn that shit off asap
