Halos lahat ng episodes napanood ko na pero tama si Marte Saldana, respect is the key. Ung iba kasi bago pa lang akala mo kung sino na masyadong pasikat agad at gusto ipakita na mas magaling sila sa veteran player not knowing na before them the veteran was up there.Kahit saan namang larangan, we should respect those who come before us and not to do things to make them feel na your past your time.
Ha ha great to hear somebody talking about early years of basketball. I remember seeing Marte during my tryouts in FEU way back 1976. Met coach Arturo Valensona one evening in a basketball game in Pasay and invited me to tryout in FEU. It was then you noticed how good Marte was. Lobo and Bulaong was the prominent players. I remember super friendly guys like Anthony Saldana and Pasco. Also meeting Bay Cristobal who only speaks English and Chabacano at that time. Aso Manalastas was very welcoming too. My short basketball career was over before it started due to cruciate ligament injury but enjoyed my brief time in 1976. Thanks guys for posting.
Magnolia was the first PBA team that I rooted for when I started watching the games. Specially yung 1985 Magnolia team Open Conference... Marte Saldaña, Joey Loyzaga, Dante Gonzalgo, Noli Banate and Normal Black. Hated Great Taste noon kasi tinalo nila Magnolia in 7games sa Finals.
