Beautiful dance that really calms my soul in these troubled times. Could you please dance to the song *"A love of worldly goods and cash, we should desire these much less. So how come Tony Morris preaches with a big fat Rolex?"* from the new 2022 song book? Agape from New York. 🙏 💗

I've been in the truth for 50 years...we we're always told it was disrespectful to dance to the kingdom melodies....so I don't know how to feel about this. This feels alot like Christian rock...

You are wise to be cautious...
However, the lyrics are not changed, the music and tempo is definitely not "Rock" / "Rock N Roll" and the JW.ORG website now has MANY original songs that have music and tempos that are more "worldly" than this one... (some of these give me the same feeling you have about this one) [ www.jw.org/en/publications/music-songs/original-songs/ ]
Regarding, dancing... I have not heard of the society ever saying not to dance to Kingdom Melodies... It seems it would even be encouraged (to dance RESPECTFULLY, and with taste/tactfulness). For example the Israelites also danced when singing on many occasions
(BIBLE EXAMPLES: (A) think of them singing and dancing to the "Victory Song" after going through the read sea VERSUS (B) the Israelites singing and dancing to pagan songs with the golden calf. THUS it seems the lyrics and music and the motive and whether the worshipful dance & singing was to and for Jehovah or to and for a pagan god...).
NOTE: you are correct - caution is needed...
So, it seems that caution is in order - you are justified - but as long as the words and meaning of the songs are respectful and inline with the Bible... and we can note that the Governing Body has already given approval for such things (Kingdom songs put to modern styles of music that are fitting to the worship-related lyrics)...
May Jehovah bless you for your cautious attitude and sincere desire to please him. I think your conscience is good for warning you and that eventually you will see that the "Original Songs" on JW.ORG and the app are quite "worldly" ("worldly" in our understanding previously) in there musical influence compared to what was acceptable just a few years ago - yet they are published by the faithful and discreet slave in the past few years...
Also, we are wise to note that we should not be quick to judge or to push or conscience on others...
      [[
How happy all God’s people were to be saved! The men sang a song of thanks to Jehovah, saying: ‘Jehovah has won a glorious victory. He has thrown the horses and their riders into the sea.’ Moses’ sister Mirʹi·am took her tambourine, and all the women followed her with their tambourines. And as they danced with joy, they sang the same song as the men were singing: ‘Jehovah has won a glorious victory. He has thrown the horses and their riders into the sea.’

      Exodus 32:1-35
17 When Joshua began to hear the noise of the people because of their shouting, he said to Moses: “There is the sound of battle in the camp.”
18 But Moses said: “It is not the sound of singing over a victory, And it is not the sound of wailing over a defeat;I hear the sound of another kind of singing.”

BTW - I personally do not like songs from the world's "IDOLS"- "POP STARS" etc... being song and posted by Bethelites at Bethel etc... So I can imagine/understand your feelings....
Additionally, I (personally) also do not like tribal/pagan-rooted dances being done in Kingdom Halls, by Bethelites etc...
However, I do not force my view on others... I always suggest they compare the description of the music and dancing from (A) the victory song Exodus 15 VERSUS (B) the pagan calf worship's singing and dancing Exodus 32:1-35
Mixing light & dark are definitely NOT acceptable to Jehovah ...
(However, simply banning music for being "up tempo" or "having a beat" or "having heavy bass" seems to be a bit overly broad... as we can imagine the battle songs from the FAITHFUL Israelites having all of the above mentioned musical characteristics...)

I’m sorry if I have offended you, our Vietnamese congregations had a get together because the it has been 20 years since it has become a congregation then split in to 3 Congs now, I simply just wanted to share the joy we had.
Thank you for informing me. I will be more careful.

I got baptized on 2 February 1999. After reading Deuteronomy Chapters 3 and 4, i know that Jehovah is hard to please. HE was furious with Moses! So i will be destroyed at armageddon!

Because they don't eat all the fatty foods we eat. Even their vegetables that are cooked is 1/2 raw. They eat less meat than us, raw nuts, ones that are in a dish goes in last or garnished on top. Their nationality that live in the states that eat like we do become fat. Food for thought.
