Fragments families through their archaic practice of 'shunning' those who they consider have contravened their rules. 3. Indocrinates children from birth and ostracises them from quite normal activities with friends such as birthdays, Valentine's day, halloween etc. causing long term psychological damage. 4. Encourges parents to shun their own children if they decide, later in life, this cult is not for them. 5. Shields sexual abusers in its ranks. 6. Teaches and actively practices the principle that women should be subservient to men. 7. Discourages higher education, despite now being heavily reliant on armies of well educated lawyers to defend the multiple lawsuits lodged against it. 8. Loans money to congregations who build Kingdon Halls as unpaid volunteers. Once the loan is repaid *with interest*, the Kindom Hall ownership is transferred 100% to Watchtower. A beautiful scam that deluded, low IQ JW members fail to recognise.
