- Final comments on Abu Taymiyyah’s 5hr video.
Please don’t get too emotional about this whole thing, people can disagree and express their disagreement on such matters. Unfortunately, this had to be said because (in my opinion) his video did have a negative impact, and will mislead many.
I’m not expecting anyone to take sides, this is not a battle between AT and I, but what’s expected is for people to follow the truth, and not just follow blindly the statements of your “fav” da’ee.
May Allah guide us all to the truth.

firstly Al-Mustadrak, written by Ibn Al-Hakim Al-Naysabori, is his weakest book, he is a scholar of Hadith but this book (Al-Mustadrak Minal Sahihain.) died before completing it, and it was published after his death without correcting, ruling and authenticating. So he didn't get a chance to authenticate the hadiths and have his own ruling, and he was also easy with hadiths, as in he saw many hadiths deemed by others as weak or fabricated he will deem good, acceptable and strong. So just be wary of his Mustadrak.
The rulings on this hadith are as follow: Mursal, Marfo'a, Weak, Good, Strong, Authentic.
this is all for the sake of showing both sides of the scholarly opinion on this hadith, please do not believe just about anyone that has a keyboard to type with on the internet.

Also the fact that this has been narrated mursal, then the mawsul will be ziyadat al-Thiqah. Again, who weakened it and why?

And yes hes a scholar, currently completing his masters in madina university. He may not be senior, but he’s a scholar enough to not just be a masjid imam or a d’ee. He has studied the deen in depth. That doesn’t make him a Qadi or a Mufti, but he’s certainly a young scholar who teaches and studies islam. He has qualifications to prove it too.

To anyone who claims it is a matter of ijtihaad then I highly suggest to watch the "replying to the people of takfeer" series by Ustaadh AbdulAziz on Garden Of Ilm in which he went over numerous doubts and this specific claim with evidences from the sunnah and the athar of the salaf.
Highly recommend to watch as the Salaf and the scholars of today do not disagree on this topic when it comes to Khurooj and Inkaar.
The sheikh may Allah reward him went so deep in to this matter, he left no room for anyone to disagree

The video of abu taymiyah didn’t create any bad thought towards the scholars . The video provided just more nuance and context that one should take in mind in matters that are unfortunately dividing the people that have the same aqeedah.
Abu Taymiyah is NOT salafi and he's a misguided youth. To claim that Sheikh Muqbil harmed the da'wah is truly from the arrogant and misguided youth.
This 5 hour video was about clarification. Some brothers criticized excessively. Abu tamiyyah showed proof that there is a difference of opinion on this matter when it comes to sitting with innovators. The 7 minutes clip shows many scholars sitting eating hugging the people of innovation. But you won't dare to call shaykh albani an innovator while you were quick to judge abu tamiyyah. I'm a salafi and I didn't like it how brothers wasn't fair with abu tamiyyah. Called him an innovator and took him out the manhaj

@anonakhi9655 give me one hadith or the quran where it says not allowed to sit with an ignorant innovator. Shaykh hadi madkhali said boycotting is the not the first course of action. There's an ijma on this, unless there is a khawarij (extremist). You don't sit with him you kill him

A fitting athar from the salaf in case of Abu Taymiyya. Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said: "Do not be surprised at those who were destroyed, how they were destroyed. But at those who survived [from fitan], how they survived!"
Because the fitnas are many, while those who are patient upon the sunnah are few.

That proves your video is bad” is the equivalent of saying ibn taymiyyahs use of philosophy to go against the philosophers makes ibn taymiyyah bad because some people use his books to argue that we must study philosophy. Brother with all due respect, you just finished the Arabic program, you're a fresh student at Madina university. Just because you think Abu Taymiyyah's video was "on point" does not make it correct. Brother Faris brought this matter to one of the senior ulama in UAE and he said the video is wrong. So you are in no position to comment your views above the scholars. This is not about personalities and who can present themselves better, but rather it's about coming to the truth without being bias as no one is above the truth.

@@SyedSadek-ke2ci exactly that’s what I’m saying. All of these great scholars have sat with and talked with innovators yet no one says that ibso facto they’re innovators as well.
What’s shocking to me is that ibn baaz himself was asked about us in a non Muslim country working with Muslims who don’t have the same aqeedah as us and are Asharis and working with them for the purposes of doing dawah and spreading Islam. While the manhaj of salaf and their practices is pure, these media callers and “scholars” are just critiquing and bickering amongst themselves. Everyone is making a video on each other and no body is willing to sit down and learn together and clear their mistakes through well grounded knowledge under the guidance of scholars (of the Salaf). Sad.
My thoughts exactly. Lets open our chests and breathe already. May Allah grant us solid grounding in propee aqeedah and a fair and healthy dose of tolerance and forebearance. It is quite repulsive to witness such quarrels. But at least some knowledge transpires from it all. May Allah guide us all and keep us steadfast!

Any duaat who has advertisements turned on in their videos this puts doubt into my heart about their intention, because you are at a conflict of interest between growing ur subscribers to earn more money and at the same time when u are conducting a pure salafi message this only appeals to a few people. So u are putting urself in a trial that is hard and easily avoided. Furthermore the types of ads that show during a talk about Allah and the prophet are completely inappropriate. Brother, it seems like waswasa is affecting you. Shaitaan is trying to confuse you and make you frustrated so that you don't know who to trust anymore and leave the deen. I have experienced something similar. However, YOU MUST AVOID THESE TH-cam CONFLICTS. Follow scholars who don't always call people out on social media, but rather try to respect other scholars and advise them privately, to avoid this fitnah you're experiencing. I recommend someone like Uthmaan ibn farooq. Also, remember that we are just laypeople. If we makes mistakes and accidently follow the wrong people, Allah will forgive us as He knows we didn't do it intentionally. BarakAllahu feekum

Ya shaykhana alhabib, if you can clarify this point then جزاك الله خير because I am confused. I watched the video and I see the points raised that I think he was trying emphasize that there was an exception to the general ruling of staying away from the people of bidaa, he did point this out in a number of occasions. He also was trying to point out the inconsistencies of the followers of salafiyyah in rebuking others at the first sight of a mistake (I.e., sitting down with people of bidaa or taking out context clips of him saying something wrong) and giving a 70+ excuses for the senior shuyookh (rightfully so). He also mentioned how you need to establish proof the same way like you do for kufr before calling someone mubtadi, and that requires requesting clarifications or discussing with the perpetrator.
Yes, the delivery may not have been the best but ya Sheikh please enlighten us on the prevalent mercilessness and lack of seeking of clarifications of those salafiyya da’ees. It’s that lack of adab that is seriously started to repulse me and others away, but I’m trying my best to stick.

Imaam Barbahaaree rahimahullaah said in Sharhus Sunnah:
If you see a man making supplication against the ruler, then know that he is a person of desires. If you see a man a making supplication in favor of the ruler for him to be sound and righteous, the know that he is a person of the Sunnah, if Allah wills.
Fudayl ibn ‘Iyaad said, “If I had a supplication that was going to be answered, I would make it for the ruler.” It was said to him, “O Abu ‘Alee, explain this to us.” He said, “If I were to make it for myself, then it will not extend beyond me. But, if I made it for the ruler, then he will be corrected and, through that, the servants and the land will be set in order” .
So we are commanded to make supplication for them (the rulers) to be sound and righteous. And we have not been commanded to make supplication against them, even if they commit tyranny and oppression, since their tyranny and oppression will be only upon themselves, but their rectitude will be good for themselves and for the Muslims.

Not calling for takfeer here but for people to go back to the salaf and see how harsh they were with evil rulers of their time - imagine how they would be in our time. The first argument presented in this video is flawed. Just because a group of people who aren't on the right path agree with and condone a point of view does not inherently make that view incorrect; there may be critical differences that separate the view from the incorrect views which the people on the wrong path may not agree with. An easy example would be Jordan Peterson. Many Muslims would agree completely and have done so when it comes to his views on certain topics such as feminism. There is a lot of positive feedback on those videos from Muslims. Does that mean Jordan Peterson's world view is the same as Muslims'? Well absolutely not; he's a kafir.
Secondly, I would like to know what formal education you received, who your teachers were and whether they condone your opinions on the various daees on youtube such as Mohamed Hijab etc. They have scholarly backing and so should you. Who are your teachers?

Brother Faris. May Allah SWT bless you. Although I don’t agree with Abu Taymiyyah’s certain ways and who he associates with. I’m taking this from a unbiased approach. Salafi Publications/Albaseerah are a group of individual in UK who actually destroy the deen. They do this discreetly. Wallah I have witnessed how these brothers stop replying to the salaam. These brothers favour their own over anything. They backbite and cause fitnah amongst normal simpletons in the masjids. I have seen and witnessed this. Since the issue of Mohammed Al Madhkhali was rectified in Islamic courts. These brother refuted every sheikh without context and anyone who attended their talks or listened to their talks were innovators in their eyes. Regardless of the sheikh being free from accusations. They are people who are failing tremendously. My own relatives who are hardcore SPUBS bootlickers stopped speaking to other salafis within our family. As we’re not salafi like them. This is an utter joke. And wallah this is a cultish mentality. Allah will expose them and their oppression. All the slandering of ullemah based of personal vendettas and not evidence will be brought to light on the day of judgement. Brother Faris you need to actually know what these brothers are like. Wallah you need to understand how they work. After attending the SPUBS masjids for over a decade I’m in a position to tell you what these brothers are like. They are a cult and hizb. They have destroyed the salafis in the UK. They need exposing. By no means am I here to boost Abu Taymiyyah. I also do not associate with him and the likes of his peers. But SPUBS/Albaseerah are a cult and a patriotic bunch of individuals. May Allah guide them. Their approval for being Salafi is invalid. They are not the gatekeepers of Salafiyyah. May Allah preserve Sh Rabee. Wallah he is free from their shenanigans. SPUBS are upon hizbiyyah. They are ignorant in many ways. They fall short in many aspects, but they also need to rectify their ways and take naseehah. There is no wonder why they are mocked in the Islamic Lands. The senior scholars have all advised people who are like them. Maybe not mention them by name, but fits their description. They will destroy the deen and they will continue to oppress people. Wallah they are a cult and they do exactly what they tell us not to do.
